Since she was young, Julia has been in love with her twin brother’s handsome friend, Dylan. By the way, he treats her, she knows he has special feelings for her too, but he is not the showy type of guy.
But things change as they grow older and older. Dylan starts avoiding her as if she does not exist at all. Worse, he changes a lot and he starts dating other girls, something that totally crushes her heart.
So, to forget her heartache, Julia decides to start moving on and starts flirting with another guy.
However, Dylan is not pleased with the idea. He drags her away from the partying crowd and eventually spills his hot confession. He is so gorgeous and irresistible that Julia is starting to doubt herself now that they are all alone in the parking lot of a deserted building. While they are in his car, he begins touching and seducing her.
Will Julia still let herself fall to his scheme and surrender her virginity to him this time?
*** This is a full-length novel with a happily ever after, no cliffhanger, no cheating, and plenty of steam. ***
She has had a crush on her twin brother's friend it seems like forever and as the years go by it just grows. He shies away though even when you can see he feels the same. He doesn't mind dating other girls but it changes when she starts to do the same with other men. Then it hits home with him. It is exciting, suspenseful, hot, emotional and so much more. I highly recommend it. I enjoyed reading it. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.
I really enjoyed this intriguing entertaining story it was suspenseful, has passion, emotional, exciting, and hot. The characters were great and keep me extremely interested in the steamy drama romance. Julia in love with her twin brothers best friend was finally noticed graduation with a steamy night but then disappears. 10 years later he is her boss and she is all he wants. I really enjoyed the storyline. I voluntarily reviewed this standalone ARC.
Felt this book was too short for the story I felt the author was trying to project. It went in to, too much detail in some parts and not enough in others. It seemed to jump from scene to scene without warning and didnt always tend to make sense.
Not sure I would recommend this book, it does seem a shame as this is a newish author, so i will be trying another book.
I received this as an arc. While it was novella length, the story felt rushed and the characters underdeveloped. It felt like all of a sudden things happened without much explanation. I believe the plot has merit but needs to be fleshed out more. I would have liked to see more of Dylan's perspective or thoughts, maybe even more backstory on how things evolved.
Not much to say about this book. It wasn't the best book that I have read but it wasn't the worse either. It felt rushed. The story line was great but I wasn't developed. The characters were good but, as previously mentioned, their relationship felt rushed.
