As the series progresses it becomes easier to at least ignore (if never accept) the terrible “science” and really lean into the fiction. What Elwood lacks in basic research, be makes up for in solid plot which continues to emerge with believable surprise.

Another good adventure. This book has the author branching out a little and having more than one point of view. It is a welcome change. The series is definitely story driven rather than character driven. This book should appeal to players of space-based RPGs and the entire series reminds me a lot of the Battletech books I've read.

Great series

Just wish I didn’t have to wait so long to get to book five. Definitely a little different from the average space wars book.
