Discontent: The Lieutenant Harrington Series, Book 5. Two bodies wait on an oceanside boat dock for Miami Homicide Lieutenant Nash Harrington. Yet this isn't a typical Wednesday morning murder. The bodies are those of two undercover vice officers who have been sniffing into the local drug trade. Harrington quickly learns that the slain officers are small pieces of a much larger puzzle. Someone is making moves in the Miami drug world, moves that may leave everyone in their path on a slab and with a toe tag. But putting himself in their path is the lieutenant’s only shot at catching them.

This author is outstanding at making every plot in the series new and original. No cookie cutting writing. There are tons of dead bodies in this book, a little much, but at least most were drug dealers. The main villain was a mystery to me and I appreciated the twist. I still prefer to have a little romance. Even PG-13, but this series is strictly police drama.
Another concise and tension-filled police procedural from E.H. Reinhard with Lt. Harrington and his Miami crew on the trail of a drug lord killing his way through Miami. Mr. Reinhard continues with his precise, sharp dialogue and action which define his characters and moves the action along lickity split right to the end. A quick read that leaves me fully satisfied.
This book brought more of the thriller twists and turns that I have enjoyed since the first book, Wrath. Nash is a busy homicide lieutenant, in Discontent he not only has bodies piling up but also his parents have come to visit. Good suspense and humor have me looking forward to continuing this series.
you can always count on this aauthor to do a top notch job on an excellent book. the charicters are always easy to follow, and it will have you guessing to the very end.
This one was really good! I couldn't put it down. As I read this series I think that each book is better than the last. Can't wait to read the next one!
Books one through four and this one right up until the fight with Matt on the boat have been very entertaining. That fight was so totally uncalled for. It was as though Harrington being hospitalized per episode is a requirement to be met.
This was an interesting story but the killings really got out of hand. Why do detectives in these books keep running their eyes until the eyeballs almost pop out. One is ok...but in every book does get old. At least to me.
Unfortunately started with book 6, but read the other five in 7 days. Fun reads, just like the protagonist Ben Porter in False Assurances, Threat Bias, Subversive Addiction and Vital Deception. Check them out.
I'm amazed that this author can write so many fantastic novels, I hope that he never stops writing. His books are some of the best Entertainment I have read and worth the time to read them. Thank you for a very fun entertaining read.
The best one in this series. Only seems rushed in one area (near the end). Better plot and characters. More involving. There was even one bad that I wanted to survive !
If you like a book with lots of action this one has it covered. Great characters that you feel like they're real. You'll want to read them to the end in a day or so!
