I just say...

This book really opened my eyes to being aware of sexual abuse. It's sad to think that this type of things really do exist. It's exist everyday? My prayer is that anyone bring hurt like this speaks up. Don't let fear overcome you, speak your truth. Mental illness is no joke realize it now and week help, seek God. Amen thank you for your books.

Part 2 was a great continuation from the first book for this joker named Devlin was definitely a spawn of the devil. Storyline kept me reading while the tales of his destruction continued to pour out of the pages. I was hopeful that his foul actions would soon be found. The surrounding cast of characters were true heroes and helped make the ending to this 2 book series a well deserved read.

WOW

Reading this story will have you going through a range of different emotions. Devlin was truly the devil. This man was downright sickening for what he was going around doing. Sonja naivety and the fact she kept defending this fool was pissing me off. Donetta being dingy and ditzy didn't go to well with me either. She had not one but two trifling secrets she was hiding. I couldn't understand how some of these adults in the Church turned a blind eye to what was going on.

This broke me down. I swear i cried the whole time I was reading this. This happen to too many girls. This man was sick and I wanted him dead in part 1. It broke my heart. i swear I wanted to hug these girls. That man was the DEVIL This book was so good from the beginning to the end. Both Books was on point but I think part 2 just broke me. I had to put it for a day and then come back and finish it.

Wow!!!

Once again Yatta did not disappoint!!! I wasnt expecting the twist and turns but everything worked out in the end. Delvin was a cruel, evil despicable man who deserved everything he received. The truths this book highlights on reels you in. People are living this novel every single day. To know that is sickening. Well done Yatta!!!

Good Read

Good read. A lot was revealed from different perspectives. Donetta needs her own book. Maybe even Devlin like a prequel.

Lord have mercy!

Omggg my mouth was dropped all the way to the floor when all the cards were being dropped on the table! Devlin was truly a sick bastard and thank God he is dead! This story speaks on so much that's happening in today's society in churches and it goes on unnoticed.

Finally....

This segment had way more action, details, drama and juice which made for a better read. I think Devlin got off way too easy. Life imprisonment where he could be raped, beaten and tortured daily would have been a more befitting fate. Good story. I'm glad I decided to read after the first book.

OMG

I chose this rating because this book was startling and dark but as all things the light will always come out shining. GOD is real and he is watching what we do in this life so everyone needs to be careful became we shall reap what we sow. Thanks to this skillful artist for one of the best reads of the year.

Great read, but emotional. This book covers a variety of topics that we are faced with today; rape, incest, and mental illness. Devlin was a hot mess; he was a wolf in sheep’s clothing. The book was a real eye opener and parents need to be on alert when it comes to their children.

Wow

I read both back to back. I had to read the second hoping he would die. What is sad is that we have a lot of people like Devlin who end up turning many away from God..
