About the author

Doug Burbey is constantly preparing to: repel the zombie hordes, defend America from all enemies foreign and domestic (particularly the Hipsters and Fashionistas), brew beer & defeat the Rebel Alliance. Doug grew up in Asia as a military brat, went to college in MI becoming a Detroit Lions fan in the Barry Sanders era, then served in numerous positions and wars around the world with the Army before retiring.

Now, Doug is an author and Technology Development Program Manager.

Military action and magic

I'm former military and a lot of authors just guess military behavior or use Hollywood as their guide post, but this book did a great job with nuances of a military mindset and tactical execution. Add some magic and demons and it was an easy step into Rage for me. Any book that takes you into their world and invokes character investment is time well spent. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the editing, but the typos didn't horribly distract. I'll definitely be looking for more in this world.

Great characters, cool story line

Burberry and Todd write a great demon invasion tale with Demon Hunters fighting them to a standstill. After the treaty is signed the Hunters find that being covered in demon blood has consequences.

Good first outing for the authors

Other than wanting more was some minor geographic errors concerning DC that non residents wouldn't notice, I highly recommend this book

Fun unique story line

It’s a nice change of pace from standard sci-fi or fantasy. Kind of a mix of both. Loved the characters and the plot!
