Is it a book about drawing... I guess. Now art is entirely subjective so take away from this what you want. I just got the book and thought "fantastic! I need to improve my skills and I've been wanting to write comics, this'll be fantastic" now, I am an art student and I've been drawing nearly non-stop for like 3 years and now I do it occasionally but even with that serious lack in skills I still feel like I already know everything this book is teaching me. The author has definitely been drawing for longer than me, but I don't think he's a teacher nor a good example for someone like myself. If you've never picked up a pencil before then try this book because it'll teach you the basics but if you understand the concept of reading from left to right, don't bother. Because he had to explain that in the comic chapter the make sure you understood that the first panel starts the page and the last ends it. So honestly I didn't learn anything from this book, I mean I guess I learned that women don't have crotches since in his anatomy chapter he just completed ignored it.
