The day I find the words, “Die Bitch” carved into my dorm mattress, I’m pretty sure I’m not ready for the whole college experience and think I should just pack up and go home. It’s not like I’m having the time of my life anyway—I’m your basic late bloomer. A socially awkward freshman who’s never even been kissed.

My best friend from back home has other ideas, though, and somehow convinces her older brother and his friend to take me on as a third roommate in their house near campus. Her very hot brother and his equally gorgeous best friend. It’s basically chiseled bodies, piercing eyes, strong hands, and testosterone twenty-four-seven at my house. They’re the kind of guys a nerdy girl like me could never even dream about. Though, that doesn’t stop me from my lurid fantasies.

But the day Shane finds my secret notebook, the one where I outline my plan to lose my virginity using the scientific method, he offers me another proposition: He and Fletch will tutor me until I’m ready to take what I learn from our lessons out of the house and into the wild.

Now I’ve got two virile men giving me a very adult education, and the one thing I’ve always been good at is being a star pupil. The best part is I don’t have to choose—I get them both and can literally do anything I want to them.

Except keep them.

Author Confession: This is a little different from my other stories—but it still features the ever-awkward heroine and hunky alphamallows you’ve come to expect from me. It’s a serial, not a series, so you’ll want to read the episodes in order. It’s just as filthy-sweet as everything else I write, I promise. These three have been living in my head for over a year trying to get me to tell their story. Penelope has a lot to learn—but don’t worry—she’s got two amazing teachers to help her every step of the way. (The serial starts off MFM, but don’t despair, MMF lovers, it’s a slow burn but we are totally going there.)

A promising beginning to a sexy college menage

Trois: Episode 1 is sexy and enticing. A great start, I am already intrigued by the dynamic play between Penelope, Fletch, and Shane. The slow burn between the roomies takes anticipation to a new level. The chemistry is undeniable and things are about to happen. Things are brewing and I'm hooked into finding out more on how this potential menage will work. Ms. Harper can create her alpha males so perfectly strong, sweet, protective, and oh, so deliciously sexy.

Will nerdy, sweet Penelope finally get what she’s researched so diligently on human sexuality? *cough cough* How long will Fletch feel guilty about desiring on his sister’s best friend? And Shane seems so happy-go-lucky, is he the key to starting all the fun? Let’s see what happens next in the next episode.

I’m rereading these before starting the final episode. This series for me is Brill Harper at her best. I love Penelope, Shane and Fletch. I love their friendship and how they start to move into more. All in the name of research, of course 😁

2.5* en el mejor de los casos, como no hay decimales, soy buena y redondeo al alza.
Muy flojita. Como casi todos los libros de este tipo, todo muy precipitado para llegar al sexo corriendito. Este es así, por lo que si bien los MC podrían resultar atractivos, no llegas ni a conocerlos.
los dos primeros episodios son peores que los dos últimos, pero el epílogo es tan predecible que es para echarse a llorar.
Eso sí, se lee de una tacada

This is a terrific start to what promises to be a fabulous story. This author is a master at creating complex, genuine characters and eliciting all the steam and humor possible from them. I was immediately drawn into the story and the characters fairly burst into life right from the start.

Here, we have the shy, nerdy Penelope taking the scientific approach to exploring her sexuality. Penelope ends up sharing a house with her best friend's older brother, Fletch, and his best friend, Shane.

Fletch is the serious, take-charge guy, while Shane is the fun-loving party guy. Their friendship is rock-solid, and they have no problem adding Penelope to their household. Except for the steam that fairly percolates between Penelope and Fletch. And between Penelope and Shane. Especially when Shane finds her notebook, which outlines her very private, very scientific project.

From here we get the chemistry behind baking cookies, the research value of adult videos, and the surprising depths of the friendship between Fletch and Shane. But just as things start heating up, this installment ends and we're off to read Book 2 to find out what happens.

What a great beginning to a series featuring Penelope, a nerd who has to analyze, take notes and research everything including her pursuit to losing her v card. She was a late bloomer and now her body is responding to men and she needs notes to help her understand how to go about her new found urges. Fletcher is the big brother to her BF, and Shane is his roommate, they save her when her crazy roomie threatens her and all 3 end up sharing the same space...what follows is a read not to be missed.
Oh my the humour had me chuckling out loud with the inner thoughts of Penelope and the antics of Shane and especially her notebook. The ending leaves you hanging on what happens next and wanting the 2nd part ASAP.

I can't get enough of Brill Harper's stories. Our little endearing nerd Penelope is so endearing and socially awkward and completely adorable.
This is definitely a Y/A hilarious story as Penelope, a self described "late bloomer" finds herself curious and self conscious as she begins her Freshmen year in college. My new favorite Alphamallows, Shane and Fletch bring the fun loving Alpha heat and OMG... Penelope and the boys are fun, funny and I laughed out loud many times while rooting on these three... More hit times to come in Book 2 for sure!!! Just a reminder, Brill is "Brill-iant"

This book is book/part one in the trois series. This story/instalment is short and fast paced. We meet Penelope, who has a bad roommate situation. Penelope has a psycho roommate that wants to kill her so it seems. Sharing her situation with her friend whom is across the country, she never expects her next situation.
I like Fletch and Shane. I liked that they took Penelope in and wouldn’t let her return to her old dorm room with the psycho roommate. The sexual tension between them is clear to see but what will happen next.

Warning, this book is just a warm up to the series, 4 books in all. Hopefully much more action in book 2 which I am immediately moving forward to.

The second book of Brill Harper's writings that I have read and I am hooked.

Loved this first book in this new series from Brill Harper! Fletch, Shane and Penelope are gonna make a great story that we will all fall in love with! Hooked right from the start!
