I don’t know how these books are written, but it feels like different authors have contributed several short stories and then these have been chopped into bits and combined into one book.
Another example of how the books seem strangely put together is the first chapter starts with an incident that has no bearing on this book, but is there as a ‘teaser’ for the next book.
The different stories were OK, but the kids playing virtual ‘Dungeons and Dragons’ was cute, but not particularly interesting and the fight against the ‘ship eaters’ is very much an interlude in their campaign against the Kurtherians.
If possible I would have given this 2.5 stars.

Good

More of a 4.5 than an actual 5, bit of a slow buildup but overall good, I hope for this series things aren’t so easy. This is the end game, I don’t care how many weeks it takes to put one out, just having the queen and everyone run through the bad guys like the last series, can’t happen in this series.

I really enjoyed this book. I was afraid that I would be getting sick of the Kurtherian books by now, but I still am having a blast reading them. This book introduced one element that I hope develops into a new series that Michael Anderle has some collaborators work on. Pod docs have been modified in this book to make a virtual reality experience that is about as real as what you hear about in any LitRPG book. Given that the pod doc technology was used to make the virtual reality experience, they could easily modify the person's body based on stuff done in the game or at least keep their body in good shape during their whole immersion period. That would lend itself well to some LitRPG books in this series. I would love to see BA having a team of gamers enhanced and selected to do real world missions based on how they played the virtual reality games. That would be so awesome! Still, at this point it is just BA and Michael's children who get to play these games. I am excited to hear more about those two kids. They are interesting characters and will be a ton of fun to read more about. I loved this book and am extremely glad that Michael Anderle decided to try his hand at writing a few years ago.

Action and adventure

There are ships missing and the Noel-ni are trying to deal with it by themselves but the situation is getting out of hand. The problem for them is that they entered into unsanctioned trade with a non Federation planet and, if they don’t fulfill the contract, it could mean war! So a delegation approaches the leader of the Federation, who happens to be BA’s father! He, of course, lets BA know what’s going on but finds that she’s already onto it.
There’s the usual amount of bar fighting and other fun things. But in this book we start to get to know BA and Michael’s children, Alexis and Gabriel. Their father decides that the children can start training properly, after all, they are now three years old, look six and act 10! Michael’s idea of training is to put the children into an immersive dinosaur world with no weapons and no help! He does warn them that they can get hurt though I don’t think that they believed him at first.
So this has a number of story lines running at once. You need to be a fan of the series to really keep track of everything and everyone.
Good action, adventure but no sex! Who knows how the children came to be? 🤣🤣

Oh, the utter pleasure of getting back to a Bethany Anne (and Michael) book!

I loved reading more of their adventures together and, for me, was surprised at how much I enjoyed reading about the twins, too.

Of course, they are precocious, but that's what I loved about them - and the way they can surprise their parents all the time, too.

There was a great plot line with this book, and I really enjoyed being moved around from one character to the next - getting hints, and bits of the puzzle, that is this new baddie in the shadows.

The bar fights were hilarious, and the battle scenes all too brief (I never thought I'd be writing that sentence one day, but Bethany Anne has totally ruined me for books without battles now)!

All in all, this was a great part of the series, and I can't wait to see what's going to happen next!

Well, of course I'll have to wait, as I've other series to read through, too, but you get what I mean, I hope?

So, now this book is done, my list tells me that it's time to move on to book 2 of the Shadow Vanguard series: Lunar Crises.

I hope it's as fun as Compelling Evidence was!

Kind of blah for a BA and Michael book

After listening and reading this book I’m a tad disappointed . I did enjoy learning a little about the kids and I realize that I learned LITTLE about the kids. The past two books have included a lot of time and space about Michael and a dinosaur. I’m tired of hearing about nothing happening for two full books I know the next book will also discuss this damn dinosaur. I’m starting to feel as if I’m being taken advantage of as a consumer. I’ve purchased 27 Audible books in this series and I’ve noticed the story line dragging for three and four books at a time. This series seems to be turning into a commercial operation instead of the great reading experience it used to be. I think I’m going to stop spending my social security money on KG series and stop recommending the extended series.

OMG! I love these new Kurtherian Gambit endgame books!

I thought I would go into withdrawal before I could read another BA, Michael, and family book! I read the 1st 21 Kurtherian Gambit books 6 times and will read them again! I loved the 1st Endgame book and now I have fell in love with this one! Please, oh, please hurry with the next one! I simply cannot wait! I respect these authors so very much for sticking to the personalities of all the characters and not trying to change them " for the better", because the better as far as I can tell, is exactly like they are. I absolutely love all of the people in these books, they're simply perfectly imperfect! Please hurry with the next book, I really don't want to go into withdrawals from lack of BA and family:)

Next Generation BA?

Oh now it's on! Little BA and Little Michael upcoming! Where will the bad guys hide! Loved how Daddy M kept the kids focused and interested in their quest while Mommy and Daddy took care of the Bad Guys. Michael is so hot... Mmm M ok.. TMI.... Anyhow, what a handful these parents have. Good thing they have those badass powers and Awsome Nannies, uncles and aunties. I'm so jealous. Constant adventure, a lot of snark and friendship make the reading to fast. By the time you get to ending, your pumping fists in the air and are ready to frame the next installment of BA and friends open a can of whoop-ass once again! Love this series and branches that have become a great staple of Sci-fi fans world wide. Recommended Read!

Bethany Ann is back!

Bethany Ann is back and kicking butt and Michael is doing his part in making this dynamic duo unbeatable. Date night for this couple is anything but the usual. Bethany Ann, accompanied by Gabriella, Jean, and Tabitha, goes back to spend some quality time with her new brother and father while getting a bit of retail therapy. Michael is left to babysit the three year old twins and comes up with a unique project that is just right for these highly advanced children. All the bitches plus Tabitha have a part in making this an irresistible read. Already ready for the next book!

Never disappointed with the tales of the Queen Bitch and Michael Nacht.

Another one of the encapsulating adventures. Explores the relationships, I particularly like the inclusion of BA's obsession with shoes, size 7 is the ideal size, although I'm wondering is that size 7 American or size 7 english. Enter the offspring of BA and Michael. With a lot of wonderfully throughout characters. Finds the QB back in fighting action. A good read and leads nicely into a followup. You won't be disappointed.

I'm loving Alexis and Gabriel

Solid 5 star rating!
This installment to the series was a tab bit more mellow than previous installments but very enjoyable nonetheless. The twins, Alexis and Gabriel are featured more in this. I loved reading about their interactions, their sibling bond and seeing the differences between each child as well as trying to gage which child is more like which parent, Michael or Bethany Ann. There's still plenty of action and BA gets to get her mad on!
Very much so looking forward to the next one.

Crazy good.

I don't usually read this area of the genre but grew up watching this exciting new frontier exploring show by Gene Roddenberry so was willing to give it a shot. Even still, I almost was ready to delete the book and move on to something else. Very glad I persevered.
What a rich combination of sci-fi and character interpersonal interrelationships! I was caught and loved every moment of immersing myself in an updated and enhanced Jamie Kirk persona.
Thanks for the ride!

Excellent story, so much fun!

Once again we're treated to a wild adventure that is unique and grabs your attention from Chapter 1! There's a huge cast of characters that we've met and come to know from the very first book, way back when. Never again will you find such a diverse cast as the one in these books, and I've grown to love so many of them. The stories are so inventive, you never know what's going to happen. And I love that. As long as they keep them coming like this, I'll keep reading.

Love it!

The girls go shopping! And make the year for several shoe stores on the Meredith Reynolds…lol
Then from buying shoes to playing with the brawlers in All Guns Blazing to heading out to kick some alien butt. Just like old times.
The twins, having received the enhanced genes from both parents are growing faster than you can say Jack rabbit! And while mommy is away daddy will play. Along with Eve and a few modified pod docs. Wait till BA sees this. Something is going to hit the fan most likely.

Old & new

Finished already??? Where's #3???

It's wonderful reading about Bethany Anne & Michael's doings, along with the Bitches, et al. Having old faces turn up is fantastic! New adventures, new enemies, some good old-fashioned ass-kicking, and hilarious times for balance. Mostly the ass-kicking and laughs are at the same time. Oh - and of course some hilarious non-cursing with the fun cursing since there are children around 😂

Compelling Evidence (Kurtherian Endgame)

Great storytelling. My first thighs on Mr Nacht 's babysitting ability was to wonder he hard his wife was going to kick his derriere! But then remembered that I was not a hovering mom and my son survived (,barely) into his 49th year. With at least 6 serious concussions mostly during adolescence. Wished there'd been some Kurtherians though. By the way Mr Anderle, I HATED the cover and think it's ugly.

Compelling Evidence

Wow! BA, Michael, their twins, and a whole raft of friends fill this book with awesome sauce. Kids take a truly immersive life threatening pod adventure. Mom, dad, and friends investigate evil on a new planet. BA and the girls go shopping and break up a major bar fight. BA, Michael, and the fleet battle a new foe with unprecedented technology. You don't want to miss this one.

BA Is Back

Bethany Anne is out and about while Michael is home taking care of the kids. Their kids. Their enhanced, rapidly developing kids. But Michael has a plan. He is using extreme technology in a game scenario for their training. I like the characters, action, snarky dialogue, and romance. Bethany Anne is my favorite character. However, the rest are quite compelling. I look forward the next book in my favorite series.

One of my favorites in this series

I read the first book in this series 9/22/16, by 10/5 I was through book 12, so that gives you an idea of how much I enjoyed them. Since then I have read a couple dozen of the spin off books not to mention the other 15 or so in the Bethany Ann books. This particular one ranks very high in the series and I can't wait to see what the kids do in the D&D world (don't skimp on that Michael).

More Chaos

As the scouts investigate for any signs of Kutherians it looks like there is more out there to deal with than just pirates. Luckily the federation has allows in the dark and it will take quite a bit more than usual to deal with this new threat. Excellent as always although a lo nger battle would have been nice and some great new set pieces with the twins and BA learning more about her etheric powers.

I can't tell you how much more I am enjoying this series and getting through the books much faster than the original series. The addition of the kids and a move away from so much technical stuff in the science fiction has made the reading much more enjoyable and easier to work through. Frankly I would space out (ha ha, no pun intended) with all the technical talk in prior books so I am more engaged with this series so far. Moving on to #3. See you on the other side!

Engaging

As always the story just keeps moving and now you can see the children’s training and that of the parents are starting to pay off as they battle new enemies, while still looking for the Kurtherians.
I love how the author does such a great job of immersing you into the scene and keeping you there from book to book. How is all smooth even though you know there are spinoffs with their own stories. If you like Sci-fi this series are a most.

A review in retrospect

Another re-read for me, another belated review. It appears I failed in my duty as a reader to leave a review after any of the previous reads. Mea Culpa.

Although the 'game' education sections don't quite resonate for me as much as the overall storyline does the book (and the entire TKG series) really does deserve 5 stars.

No other books/series has entertained me so much as Michael Anderle's have kept me interested through so many reads and re-reads.

The adventures are nowhere close to over :)

Motherhood hasn’t slowed Bethany Anne down, although she’s more judicious about when and how she takes the fight to others. For those who were worried that the Endgame might not live up to the books that started it all, fear not! You’re in for a hell of a ride. If BA, Michael and the Bitches aren’t enough, Alexis and Gabriel (the twins) will certainly add twists you don’t expect. Go ahead, dive in...

Another hit

I'm so glad that Michael Anderle did not decide to finish the Bethanne books after the first series. I enjoy the way she and Michael are balancing their family with their work life. The kids are fun and so is the interaction with the extended aunts and uncles. Really looking forward to more of this series.

Another great book with Bethany Anne, Michael and kids. It was great to see the next generation getting in on the act and we await their development with interest. Glad the ladies had time for shopping amongst all the developments of taking a new planet and new bad guys to worry Bethany Anne. Awaiting the next book hopefully soon.
