Fleur Sutton’s a natural brunette but now she’s a blonde. She’s also wearing blue contacts. Oh and her name’s now Rose Hutton. Because she’s on the run—from people who might kill her, and those people are her family.
After Fleur—or Rose—witnesses a murder that keeps a friend from testifying against her father, she knows she’s next. From piecing together memories of a picture-perfect childhood, she realizes she’s grown up in one of the toughest, scariest crime families in the country. Now with no resources but her wits and a mean hand at cards, she sets out to decide her own fate.
Chaz Knight is happy to kick back following a few rough Knight Ops missions and try something out of the ordinary. So when he steps into an underground gambling room and discovers a polished princess beating all the sharks at their own game, he has to know more about her. Five minutes in, her presence has his dick hard and ten minutes later, his internal radars are blaring loud and clear—Rose is not who she seems.
The only game Fleur hasn’t played—and isn’t willing to start right now—is that of love. But the man of few words sure has a lot of pillow talk. Soon, sticking to her lies is more burden than she can bear. Walking away from her family was hard enough but leaving Chaz will crack her heart right in two.

Knight Shift is book five in the series and the last single Knight brother is about to meet a woman who will test his cavalier approach to relationships, and open his eyes to the real meaning of love.
As with previous stories, this one is jam packed with danger, betrayal, mystery and lust. Chaz Knight is duty bound to protect his charge and uncover as much information as possible to take down their latest enemy. But when the woman on the run is their targets daughter, matters are sure to get messy and complicated quick.
After witnessing something she shouldn’t have, Fleur Sutton is running from the one person she thought would always protect her. Learning that her naivety over the years has blinded her to the truth of his deception, Fleur has no choice but the run for her life. Chaz is a saviour she doesn’t expect or want, but forces beyond Fleur’s control have forced her into this powerful man’s arms.
The Knight Ops boys are definitely hot to trot and all fired up to save the world; well their part of it anyway, just get them out of f**king Mississippi. And with so much testosterone in one place, there’s bound to be some reminders of the pecking order too. I have loved each and every one of these books; the characters make you laugh, scream and envy their family dynamics, and the plots allow for alpha males to posture and flex their muscles while still being protective, loveable and desired.
Another great story Ms Petrova, now I’m anxiously waiting for the two babies of the family to get their books. And we just know that things are not going to be easy for the men who take on the Knight girls (and their five brothers).
Chaz, the last bachelor Knight, is determined to maintain that status. But then he's sent to investigate and protect the loveliest little flower he's ever seen - Fleur Sutton, murder witness, running for her life from her crime lord father.
Fleur is one tough cookie - she finds creative ways to stay alive and one step ahead in New Orleans. But when she meets Chaz, whose very gaze consumes her and sets her on fire, she soon recognizes the value of having someone else watch her back. Chaz is torn between his growing feelings for her and his duty to question her and get as much information as he can for his team's investigation into her father.
Chaz's fall into true love was a thing of beauty to witness. He's perfectly protective, sensitive and caring, and quite the surprising gentleman who sees the inherent conflict of interest with his attraction to the woman he's supposed to be interrogating. I love all the Knight boys, but Chaz is my favorite. Fleur is his perfect match, and he's everything she's ever wished for. It's a swoon-worthy, heartwarming, pearl-grasping romance against the backdrop of an amazing family that is only too happy to add one more.
The HEA is guaranteed, and it's all I can do now to wait for the next book in this wonderful series. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
If I could give more than five stars, then I would for this book. Oh my! Em Petrova is one of my favourite authors that I know I can pick up one of her books and that I will enjoy reading it [even if I've read it before - in fact, especially if I've read it before]. This is Knight Ops Book 5 and features Chaz and Fleur/Rose. When Fleur realises that one of her friends saw a murder that implicates her father she realises what sort of 'family' she has grown up in and knows that she needs to run to save herself. Donning a blonde hairstyle and blue contact lenses she knows that she has to keep low key and use whatever skills she has to survive and avoid her family who are after her. When the two of them meet he realises that she isn't the confident card player but something so much more precious.Love is new to Rose but can she trust him? Who will she choose : 'Blood being thicker than water' or Chaz and the knights? Em Petrova had me caught at page one of this fast paced action packed suspenseful, steamy romance. This is so well written and is so much more than just a romance. Fabulous characters and a heart wrenching decision to be made. >Book Review – Knight Shift >I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 5th in the Knight Ops series and ends in an HEA. As with the previous books in this series, the sibling banter is at times sweet and at times funny. Chaz is the last single Knight brother. He is assigned to observe and protect a woman on the run, Fleur. Fleur did not realize her father was in to illegal businesses. She witnesses a murder and her own father puts a hit out on her. I felt it was a bit unrealistic that Fleur didn’t know her dad was involved in something shady. She mentions she went on vacations as a child to Russia and Columbia. Her mom dies mysteriously. The nature of her father’s men had to all have combined to clue Fleur in. >She goes on the run and meets Chaz. Chaz is conflicted. He wants Fleur, but she is a job. I love how he tries so hard to do the right thing. The sexual tension is hot. Chaz is a player and using jealousy from Fleur towards the nude texts Chaz repeatedly receives would have upped the tension a bit. >I love when there are scenes in the bayou and the scenes in this book do not disappoint. This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 5 stars. Love these guys!
Fleur Sutton and Chaz Knight - Whew! Hot! After seeing her friend killed in front of her, Fleur realizes that her father is a crime lord of the worst kind. She runs to save her own life - tries to survive on the streets by herself. Enter Chaz- the last unmarried Knight man. He is sent by his commanding officer to watch out for her. Things quickly escalate and Chaz finds himself falling for her in a big way - but can he trust her? A kidnapping evolves into the entire Knight Ops and their families getting into it. This book has Mafia, a cover-up Plantation business and all things Knight Ops. It was a super great read but too short! Espionage and lots of tension with a close knit family trying to keep their country safe. This book is erotic, physical and fun. These men are drool worthy with lots of hot, sizzling madness and sex - be forewarned - it is engaging and suspenseful. An emotional read and you really feel for the characters. Great job - well done. Loved it from cover to cover. Another Knight bites the dust!!! Highly recommend it. I received a free copy of this book from Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review.
What isn't there to like about this book? There is drama, suspense, passion and family.
Chaz is a happily single man who likes the idea of being an uncle more than being a dad. He is cool with the single life and the little black book he has. He considers himself an easy man, he likes his job, his family cabin where he can drink and fish and a willing warm woman who knows the score. This outlook changes very quickly when he is tasked to get to know Fleur Sutton.
Fleur or Rose is on the run after finding out just who her dad really is. She doesn't know who to trust and where she will get money. One night after a good run at the tables, she meets a man who not only interests her also makes he wonder if her father sent him.
What happens after that is nothing short of amazing. This book is a standalone but you get to meet the other Knights and their woman and see the lengths they will go to protect someone when one of the Knights claim them.
The action and drama was on point. The feelings and sexy times will blow your mind and you will fall in love with another Knight brother.
This is an exciting action packed romance story. The Knight brothers are special ops. When finishing a mission an on their way back home .Chad Knight was the only single brother so he was the bit of aplayboy. But then he gets a call he's to get close enough to see if Fleur is innocent in her father business. When he first lays eyes on her he felt something strange as they banter with her being sassy an having everyone laughing at the poker table where she cleans house. He ask her out but she says no an he follows her back to her motel he's not leaving he wants her Aegean with the drug deal he watched go down two doors down he's worried with the money she has won. This story will keep you on the edge of your seat it has action, suspense, danger, smoking hot Alpha men an the beautiful women they love. The characters will captivate you. There are so many twists and turns to this story will keep you riveted until the very last page and leave you begging for more.I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes and makes you feel their emotions and their pain.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.
My favorite author has done it again with this story about The youngest brother Chaz. Colonel Jackson sends him undercover to watch and keep Fleur Sutton safe from her own father, the biggest crime lord in Louisiana. After she witnesses her dads best friend and her adoptive uncle murdered by one of her fathers men, she realizes she is in trouble and may be the next victim. She can’t believe she didn’t see the signs of what kind of businessman he was. She goes on the run, changes her hair color, her name and stays in cheap crappy motels to stay under the radar. When Chaz first lays eyes on her and interacts with her he has this deep need protect her. Chaz is a playboy and enjoys his freedom, but the feelings he is experiencing has him confused. He’s a love ‘em and leave ‘em kind of guy, but not with Fleur. Great storyline and wonderful strong, independent characters. Can’t wait for the next book. This series is awesome.

Chaz Knight is on a mission and has been camped for what feels like ages. Then and there he decides he;s going to take a vacation to relax. In the meantime, Fleur Sutton finds out the hard way what type of man her father really is. She's on site when the man she;s considered her second father is killed in front of her by orders of her father. She heads home frightened and as she nears her dad;s office door hears her dad ordering her to be found and brought in. She runs. She changes her looks and hocks whatever she can to get cash. Then finds a gaming table and wins enough to make her life in the next few days a little easier. Then Chaz gets the orders to find and protect Sutton;s daughter. He finds her and his protective side rears up its ugly head. Eventually she opens up and he starts to help her hide and evade. Danger around not only to their physical well being but to his heart. Another knightastic story which will keep you enthralled to the end.

Fleur Sutton is on the run after she witnesses one of her father’s employees being shot and she overhears the man who shot him being told by her father to bring her to him. She thought he was just a plantation owner and not an organized crime boss, but it explains a lot about her childhood and why she was restricted to certain areas and couldn’t ask questions. She fears if she goes to her father he will kill her too, so she uses her skills at cards to gather enough cash to disappear and Chaz Knight of Knight Ops convinces her to go with him for her protection. From the beginning there is chemistry between Fleur and Chaz, but he is afraid that she will see him as using her to get answers. There is a lot of action in this book both from assignments Chaz is given outside of protecting Fleur and moving in to rescue her when she is kidnapped. Chaz was a player and he has a dangerous job. Fleur has to decide if she wants to accept the risks to be with him.
Absolutely love this series and in every book that Knight brother is my favourite that is until the next one comes along Em somehow manages to make every brother better than the one before and their adventures with the woman they love just get more and more mind blowing.
This time we meet Chaz he is the last brother that is single he has the same belief family and honour as the rest of his brothers but he is determined that he will not fall to love like the rest of his family. When he sent to protect Fleur who's father a crime lord is trying to have her killed he falls just has hard as his brothers before him. Fleur is a tough no nonsense heroine she doesn't really need rescuing but when she meets Chaz she finally has someone to lean on. Overall a wonderful story that I thoroughly enjoyed hopefully there will be more stories in this series after all we have there team mate who is like a brother to them and two wonderful sisters o bring them on
I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I really enjoyed reading this story about Chaz and Fleur. She's the daughter of a plantation owner and had just witnessed her friends murdered in front of her by a friend of her dad's. Now he wants her brought in. So she takes off and trys to hide in plain sight. Chaz Knight had been called into to work with OFFSUS in determining if Fleur is working for her dad, a known him runner and hard core criminal. Chaz wants to protect her from danger and her dad. So imagine this Playboy actually developing feelings but is afraid to act on them since technically he's supposed to watch her. Follow them as they learn about each other and try to stay one step ahead of her dad's men. Watch as the Knight crew accepts get into the fold and secrets see revealed. Great story that is building on the Knight family.

Chaz thinks he is about to have down time but is sent out on a solo mission, little does he know he is about to meet his match, his love match that is! Fleur (great name fyi ;) ) is on the run after seeing one of her farther's men kill the man she thought was one of her fathers best friends she had known since she was little and now needs to find a man who may have answers to her life. I loved the chemistry between Chaz and Fleur and how they are both torn about telling the truth about each other as well as him trying to keep her safe and get the intel they need. You hope Fleur can find the man she needs as well as feel sorry for her now realising what her farther really is, the childhood she lost due to him and finding herself. Its all Knights on deck for this one including the wives etc which makes you enjoy this book even more!

Fleur is on the run after witnessing a murder. She has had to change her appearance and her name to be safe. She is smart and able to take care of herself. But then she meets Chaz. Chaz is the last of the Knights to be single but you know it won't last long considering Fleur and Chaz have an instant connection. He's a player and didn't see himself being tied down with just one woman. Till he met Fleur. He has to remind himself that Fleur (or Rose as she changed her named) is a job. He is to keep her safe and get some intel on her family. This was very interesting story and I liked the twists and betrayals that kept this story flowing along nicely. Really enjoyable book! This is a well written, romantic suspense novella that’s full of danger, drama, humour, some special ops action and some seriously steamy scenes. Having not read any of the previous books in this series, I had no problem jumping right in and sorting out who’s who within the Knight clan. I loved how protective Chaz felt toward Fleur and their sexy banter when they first met. I thought Fleur was a bit naïve though in not realizing her father’s true livelihood, but she was also smart, resourceful and able to dig deep to gather courage when she needed it. I felt the final resolution with her father came about very quickly. It almost seemed like an afterthought after everything that had led up to that point. Despite that this is a good story with some well-defined and charming characters.

Book five in the series and this one is about Chaz the last single Knight brother. I think what I liked most about Chaz is how he handled himself in the position he found himself. He tried to find a balance between his job and his personal ethics. Great banter between the brothers, lovely family moments and hot chemistry all around. Chaz and Fleur were so good together and complemented each other well, once Chaz made his mind up he didn't let anything stop him getting what he wanted!
I cannot wait for the next installment, I hope it's Lexi's story and I hope Bo will get a story too. I really do love this series!

This is a gripping story that is amusing, romantic and suspenseful. Chaz is bold, protective, stubborn and chivalrous. Fleur is naive, strong, brave and vulnerable. Chaz is sent to watch over Fleur, and get information from her. He didn't expect to be immediately and intensely attracted to her, or feel the overwhelming need to protect her. Fleur was on the run and confused, but with Chaz she felt safe, on top of being attracted to him. Her father wanted her dead, Chaz swore he'd keep her safe. There's lots of action and drama in the storyline, and Chaz losing his mind a few times. It's a great addition to the series.

Great series featuring the Knight brothers (and soon Knight sisters). This one is about Chas and Fleur Sutton aka Ross Hutton. Fleur witnesses the murder of her friend and is now on the run....from her father. She changes her name and her appearance and is trying to find the bag her friend told her to get before he died. Chas is sent by the Colonel to watch her. Almost immediately he sees she needs his help. He gains her trust but fights his attraction because she is under his protection. Will he give in and join his brothers loving wrong women or will be just provide her protection???? Loved Bo. He is great in this story. He needs a story!!!!

This is a great read. It features the last bachelor of the Knight bunch, Chaz. He is tasked with keeping watch over a young woman on the run from her father she suspects wants her dead. Fleur Sutton witnessed the murder or a dear friend by one her father’s men after the friend tells her to get a bag from a man named Antonio and run. Fleur dyes and cuts her hair and lives on the street before she finds a way to make money at the poker tables. Chaz finds her at an underground poker table and us mesmerized. When he follows her and finds she’s staying at an unsafe motel he flips and takes her some place safe. We get the Knight men and women and fashion police Bo, action, suspense and steamy scenes galore.
Sheltered and shocked mafia princess Fleur Sutton witnesses the murder of one of her father’s friend by another of his friends. But with his dying breath, Frankie gave Fleur a task that could be a threat to her father but mean freedom from his influence for her. Fleur goes to talk to her father but overhears him threaten her, she can only think to run and hide!
After yet another assignment in Mississippi, Chaz Knight wants a bath, a meal and beach vacation but he’s given a secret assignment to follow Fleur and find out how involved she is in her father’s business. At the location he’s given, Chaz has no problem seeing through her disguise and after two minutes of conversation, he knows she’s innocent, on the run and he’ll protect her with his life. Rating: 4stars
Fleur and Chaz. The last Knight brother finds his match. I almost wonder if Jackson is a match maker by this point, but regardless he knows the men he supervises very well! Fleur is on the run from the start and from her family. Chaz is sent to protect and learn. However Cupid struck them and w shot to see a romance play out with both POV and little asides from the brothers, Lexi, Jackson, Hawk, and Rocko. The danger was mainly near the beginning and then Fleur coming to terms with her known background and learning about family secrets. The ending was sweet and funny. The updates for Lexi and Rocko were sweet and frustrating. The insight into Tyler was a hoot and I can’t wait for her story!
This book was so insanely awesome. Fleur has had a rough go of life lately until Chaz comes into it. Fleur and Chaz have really great chemistry, so great that Chaz has a hard time keeping things professional. His job is to protect her, but he is finding it increasingly hard because of his attraction to her. Fleur does not want to be attracted to Chaz, but there is just something that draws her to him. This book is suspenseful, romantic, and just so sexy. This book was an entertaining read. So glad I read it.

What can I say about this series that I haven't said before? Em Petrova knows what her readers want and brings to them with all her power! I love this series and the Knight men! I don't want to see this series end....I think she can squeeze about 3 more books out of it. The plot was interesting even though it's fairly typical. The storyline flowed smoothly throughout. I thoroughly enjoyed the banter between Fleur and Chaz as well as between Chaz and his brothers! The characters were well-developed and easily relatable. I can wait to see what else Ms. Petrova has for us in the future!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book....
Fleur witnesses the murder of a friend and the man who ordered it was her father. This means her whole world is coming done and she is on the run for her father, without many money. She changes her hair and eye colour and her name to Rose. But luckily she can play poker and is earning some money with that. One evening she meets Chaz. He is sent to check on her and see if on which side she is, her fathers or not. But Chaz has feelings for her the moment they meet, making her fall under his protection from that moment.
A great read with action, suspense and a man who wants to do the best for a woman on the run, but does she wants that too?
This is definitely one of my favorite series. These Knight boys are just the perfect mix of strong, protective, cocky, dangerous and romantic. With this being the last of the boys’ stories, I didn’t expect things to be anything less than the others and I definitely was not disappointed. Chaz was determined to stay a bachelor...but we’ve heard that story before. When these two meet, there’s immediate chemistry, but his romantic and protective side had him keeping to himself, for as long as he could anyway. I loved this story and I cannot wait to see what happens with the girls.

Em Petrova has quickly become a favourite author of mine and I find myself eager to read the next book. This book proves my point and meets all the criteria of a superior read.
The story is packed full of wonderful characters, the interactions are brilliantly written and the background forms a sound foundation. With adventure and intrigue from beginning to end, this story will tick all the boxes for readers of thrillers, romance and intrigue novels. Add in the military influences and you have a new book friend and hero.
Heart-stopping, captivating, compelling and brim full of romance – keep them coming Ms Petrova – I need more.
A really good romance with lots of heat and intrigue. ❤️️😍🔥❤️️
Fleur was in the wrong place at the wrong time and witnessed a murder. But that wouldn't be the worst thing to happen on that day for her. Chaz was given the assignment to watch her and make sure she wasn't involved. But you are not supposed to get involved with the target of the operation. Don't remind Chaz.💕💖💕
This series is so very good! Each book is well written and developed and can be read as a standalone but they are so much better when they are read in the order they were written. 😉

After Fleur witnesses the murder of her friend by her crime boss father’s henchmen, she goes on the run when she realises they want her too. She has never seen this part of his life and she is terrified. Col. Jackson, Knight Ops boss, puts Chaz undercover to protect Fleur and find out if she knows anything. He catches up with her at a poker game and he is the lone brother to get bit by the love bug when he sees her. Chaz takes this detail very seriously and is besides himself when she is captured by the thugs Well written and another great story in the Knight saga.
