Trick or Treat
You’ve got to help her. She’s in danger.
Messages from the dead no longer come as a total shock to psychic Kat Parker, but did this one really need to be so cryptic? She didn’t need it all spelled out for her, but couldn’t they at least throw her a bone every once in a while? Perhaps just a few hints as to what kind of danger, from whom, maybe even a time frame—you know, the basics.
Unfortunately that short message appeared to be all the deceased husband of Myrtle Crenshaw could manage, leaving Kat no choice but to stick close to the old woman and assist her in planning an elaborate Halloween charity event.
With Halloween rapidly approaching, Kat calls upon her friends to help keep an eye on Myrtle as well as ensure the party is a success. But as each day passes without her being able to pinpoint the danger, Kat begins to wonder if anyone is really out to harm the sweet old lady. Perhaps the ghost was mistaken and nothing worse than Norman following through on his promise to spray paint a llama will happen, but Kat isn’t counting on it.

Thriller, suspense, mysteries, paranormal, humor/comedy, there are very few genres that don't interest him and he intends to take a crack at them all.

All he wants is to keep his sweetheart safe.
She's missing her boyfriend, whilst he's in Washington, but her BFF takes her to see one of her favourite patients. Although Myrtle is elderly she is still full of life. That's why she surprised when a ghost shows up and asks her to keep her safe. What could be the danger? Myrtle however has plans for Halloween - a donors/children's bash to raise money for local orphanages. However with such a short time to get things organised, can it be done? Whilst everyone mucks in to do so strange things start happening. Brakes failing, random calls and visits to buy the property and weird illnesses. Can they keep Myrtle safe and find the person behind this? A great plot, Snappy, really got into the spirit of things. But it wasn't lie the other books in the series. It definitely felt more sedate but had a feel of being more character based and their relationships to each other.

So Many Trick But Lots & Lots of Treats!
It seems like I waited forever for this book to come out. But, boy was it worth the wait! All my favorites were front & center with Kat, especially lovable No Neck Norman & turtle extraordinaire Snappy! New character Myrtle was a hoot. Hopefully she will show up in future books. K.L. Phelps definitely delivered one of the funniest, yet most riveting plots. I truly enjoyed all the little twists & turns. I am addicted to this series! My only regret, now I have to wait patiently for the next installment & I have a wicked craving for tacos at 10:00 at night!!!

This is the best one so far. Throw a fiesty old lady into the mix and you have a great combination!! I absolutely love Myrtle....she’s everything I want to be when I’m a grandmother. This was the most hilarious books I’ve read. Love the old characters and the new. This is one of my most favorite series to read....now I just have to wait for the next book...hope I don’t have to wait too long!!! KUDOS Mr. Phelps...please keep giving us more Kat stories!!! Happy Reading :) p.s. please bring Myrtle back!!!!

Another great fun read.
This is one of my favourite series by one of my favourite authors,and one of the few that now gets an instant pre order for any new additions.You are always guaranteed a fun,interesting time with a great cast of unique characters who all earn their place in the story,specially Snappy!This book sees Kat helping a feisty elderly patient of her friend Helen plan a charity Halloween party.The ghost of the woman's husband warns Kat to keep her safe.The question being from what or who.Read It and you'll have a great time finding out.

Another fun Kat Parker adventure
These books are so good that I read them too fast then when I'm done I am sad as I don't know when the next one will be out. I waited a while for this one and it did not disappoint. I love the new character addition in Myrtle. She fits right in with the rest of the gang. Lots of laughs and I’m still craving tacos. I cannot wait for book #8. No pressure there Mr. Phelps :)

I have really enjoyed this series, but found that #7 wasn't my favorite. The plot seemed to very clumsily point to the "bad guy" numerous times and the preparations for the party dragged on forever. As usual, the characters were wonderful and funny. Overall the story is well written. I would have liked to see more of the romance and paranormal aspects that were present in the earlier books. If you enjoy funny paranormal stories, you will absolutely like this series.

Please don't squeeze the Charmin!
I loved all of the old-school references, but unfortunately, I think my generation is the last to understand! Lots of subplots going on, that all come together nicely. I'm a little bummed that the next book is currently the last in the series. I don't usually pay for ebooks (I get them from my library) but I have bought or been gifted all of this series. I'm glad I did.

Best one yet
Just when you think this series can't get any better a new book comes out that blows your mind. I love this series. It has everything you need including romance, mystery, comedy, loveable characters. Halloween carnival was so well written it makes you want to go there.

Amazing ride, could not put it down
I’ve read the whole Kat Parker series in about a week, I’ve enjoyed being with them on their adventures, and will now be going through withdrawal. Maybe some tacos will help? :)

Yep, still love, love, love this series.
I cannot say it enough. If you find a book that makes you laugh out loud, and makes you want to keep reading and laughing enjoy. It doesn't happen often.

Pure enjoyment

So fun!
I love this series and can't wait for the next one. I will say the "mystery" part of this wasn't that hard to figure out but the comedy more than made up for that.
