Don’t fret it’s just a fib, or is it? I’ll let y’all figure that one out. Let your lips taste the sea salt and don’t forget to smell the sweetest rose ever, Savannah, my adopted home. This is a delightful 104 page novella collection of short stories with a Civil War theme. As suggested in the title, all the stories revolve around Savannah, Georgia.

The variety in the book is wonderful. From stories relating to Southern Belles, soldiers, midwives and historical figures, this collection will find you in a wide range of emotion.

You will find yourself wanting to read the stories over and over as they just make you wish the story continued.

Ms. Lewis is also the author of “Wash My Soul” and “Hear My Voice”.
