The photos are extraordinarily beautiful, but more information about the photographers whose work appears here would have been welcome. Mitchell's contemplative (albeit somewhat meandering) essays provide effective pauses in the volume, but let's be honest; we're here for the photos.
I enjoy reading this book which more likely to be called photographic book. The photo tells more words than words. And the nice things is that it show some portion of photographer's life when they took the pictures. Some of them is a photographic techniques and the other is just a share of experience. I am really dreaming to have this kind of relaxing jobs. Take the photo and enjoy the nature; what is better than that? :D
