After Grigori's dragon scales are stolen, he catches a lead in Paradox City. The culprit? A sassy little thing who masquerades as him to make a sale! He might have found that adorable if she hadn't taken his dragon powers too. Intrigued by the female's abilities, Grigori set his sight on claiming what is rightfully his, and in the process, the female just might find her way to her knees.
Nova brokers deals on the black market. She doesn't ask what the products are and she usually doesn't care, not until her brother gets involved with Faceless, a mob boss. Toss in a dragon shifter searching for his stolen scales and Nova finds herself knee deep in trouble. When that sexy dragon barges his way into Nova's life, she refuses to give in to his demands… well, at least she tries to tell herself that. She doesn't expect Grigori to awaken a side of her she'd only ever thought about in the dark of night… an urge to submit she thought she could live without.

The fae, magic, and mystical worlds of possibility are carved into my soul. When I write my stories I pour all of my heart into what they whisper. I'm the kind of lady who will stare off into space to better understand my characters thoughts, listening to them speak their own version of the story.

I'm a mother of two girls and several furbabies. I'm engaged but have no intention of getting married.
Like most authors I've been writing most of my life and have dreamed of being an author since the 5th grade.
When I write, I write to explore characters and a world first for myself. Then I revise, edit, and publish for readers.

"An Exciting Dragon shifter Romance"
You will love the exciting storyline. That is exciting right from the beginning. The characters are Stunning! This story is a five star plus story.
Grigori is a sexy Dragon shifter. Someone has stolen some of his scales! Grigori sets out to find his scales. His search leads him to an underground fighting ring. There he sees a mage who draws his dragon! It seems he may have found his mate. Only he has no time for that right now. He learns that to find his scales he must locate a person called the Handler. 
Nova is a possible mage. She is also known as the Handler! She went to the fights to locate her brother. Nova needs his help with her job. As the Handler she is a neutral enforcer. She is to make sure deals go off without a hitch. She does not know the deal she is to enforce is for Grigori's scales! What will happen when the two discover They are fated mates! 
You will love this super exciting,thrilling,funny,suspenseful,and steamy hot Dragon shifter Romance!

I love Decadent Kane’s stories. Partly for the plots which can be wonderfully exciting and are always well thought out and perfectly written. Mostly though it’s the characters that drive me. Good or bad they’re always creatively done and wonderfully crafted. That’s certainly the case here in Shifting Facade: (Siberian Paradox #1), with Nova its black market dealing mage heroine, Grigori the dragon whose stolen scales Nova is marketing and, off course, the bad guy mob boss named Faceless (gotta love that name). Some nice thrills, a bit of sexy adventure with just the right BDSM spice and tah-dah! Instant enjoyment. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises - the book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend.

Nova is dealer on the black market, she's tough and no one messes with her. But then again, she never looks like the same person at her deals based on her ancestry. This time she's selling Grigori's dragon scales. But the problem is, her brother needs to steal them from her or his he's in trouble with Faceless, a mob boss. Nova runs into Grigori when she's out looking for her brother and both of them feel a pull to one another. Nova get's her brother to help her with this deal and changes herself to look like Grigori. The real Grigori follows and sees someone that looks like him at the deal and feels that same pull when he ran into Nova at the club her brother was at. Will Grigori be able to get his scales back but also figure out what this pull to Nova means? And will Nova's brother escape the wrath of Faceless?

Nova is a mage and out looking for her brother. She goes to a club and starts searching. She finally finds him in the fighting cages. Then she sees who his opponent is...a man with dragon on him. As her brother fights the dragon man, his dragon senses her and finds her. But Grigori is on a mission..to find his silver scales that were stolen. He asks the bartender if he;s heard of the scales and is sent to a place where he smells the female his dragon has taken a shine to. Then a fight starts out and Nova is knocked out for two days. Two days late Grigori finds her and tells her they have bonded. Then they go off to look for his scales. Life takes a turn that Nova never imagined in her life.
Fantastic story. It will entice you into the story line and leave you wanting more.

Nova encounters Silver Dragon shifter Grigori she feels a pull towards him.
Nova has made a business out of being the Handler who ensures the exchanges of goods and money take place properly and when someone tries to take the goods and run she can make them powerless for a few moments and deal with them. Silver Dragon Grigori is on the trail of his stolen scales and encounters Nova and his dragon goes wild and he realizes that his bond is pulling towards Nova who trying to save the deal pulls too much magic and ends up unconscious for three days but when she wakes agrees to go with Grigori to retrieve his scales from the criminal mastermind Faceless. A paranormal romance to relax and enjoy

This book was very good in the beginning, but I felt the ending was not that good with the dominance of Grigori over Nova. We have action. magic and love. Nova works for the black market and is good, but she has a brother that just can't stay out of trouble. She is a go between for the sale of dragon scales. Grigori is looking for his scales. What will happen when they meet? What will Grigori do when he finds out that Nova is the one with his scales? What will Nova do to protect her brother? Will she help Grigori or will she save her reputation?

Nova is a "handler" - a person who brokers deals from the dark net in real life. But one day she is facing the consequences. Grigori, a dragon, from whom 2 scales have been stolen is looking for them and the handler of the deal. He is surprised to find his fated mate to be the handler. When in a fight the scales are stolen they join forces to retrieve them.
As a story it is not so interesting, but still the life and paranormal characters surrounding the pair is interesting and fun to read about.
An okay but entertaining book. I hope there will be a little more substance in the next story.

In this book, Nova works as a contractor to ensure everything goes smooth with clients buying and selling stuff on the dark internet. Her magic sucks the magic of others so they end up having no choice but to play nice. When she and her foster brother have to work in a transaction dealing in dragon scales, everything goes wrong when the dragon shows up to claim his scales. This dom dragon also discovers Nova is his mate. This book was very short and not a full story. Although it provides an ending to the characters meeting and mating, it feels like there's a lot more story to be told. It was an entertaining book but, like I said, too short.

Complex world, danger, strong characters, and steamy romance made for an exciting read

This was a fascinating tale of magic, mystery, nasty bad guys, and yep, steamy romance based off fab chemistry. I loved that Nova was such a strong woman and able to do what it takes to thrive in this dangerous and complex world. Grigori was also strong, but he's a dragon; we kind of expect that. He is also hot and quite dominant -thankfully, Nova is attracted to his flavour dominance and they burn up the pages when they come together ;)

Wow I loved this story but then it’s a Decadent Kane story so do I need to say more?. Grigori is a dragon shifter his scales have been stolen and when he finds the woman who was the handler of the scales he knows straight away that she is his mate. Nova is a mage and a handler and she is searching for her brother and it leads her to an underground fighting ring, that’s where she runs into Grigori and they end up needing each other to help find what was lost. A fantastic story I enjoyed it immensely and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Very interesting and entertaining read. I wasn't expecting that abrupt ending just when things were starting to get good. Overall a enjoyable read with plenty of intrigue, action, course steamy romance to keep you engage from beginning to end. Looking forward to seeing what else is in store for this series. Shifting Facade (Siberian Paradox #1) by Decadent Kane is an awesome book that I just read. It is about a dragon shifter, books like this one are the ones I like to read alot. I am glad I read this book cause it was well writen and a very interesting story line along with strong characters. I highly recommend this story to everyone who love dragon shifters.

A Silver Dragon shifter is searching for his stolen scales and finds his mate. The woman he finds is just as taken with him but she needs his scales too. She brokers sales of odd things to whoever has the money. Evil is lurking and out to get them and they both realize they need each other. The answers to all her questions about her unknown family and her magic is revealed!! This was a nice read.

He has had his scales stolen and he cannot even shift to use his powers. He gets a lead and it leads to her and he has a feeling there is more to her than meets the eyes. The more he learns the more he wants. See if he will get them back and have her as well

OMG I'm in heaven
A woman who has a troubled past, a brother who is in hot water and a dragon who is seeking what has been stolen from him. A great storyline - but what makes this book stand out is - Dragons with kink? Oooh yes please Sir!

Start to a new paranormal romance series. This was a fast read that I just couldn’t put down. It had action, mystery and one hot male who liked to be in control. But the leading lady stole the show with her amazing magic. And boy did she know how to take down an enemy or a hot male. Definitely want to read more from this series.
