This is the (very long winded) journey of a complete vanilla woman into the 24/7 lifestyle. I actually should have DNFed when the hero said he was into the 24/7 stuff (I never get that) but the few reviews here on GR were all but raving and so I continued. It’s very slow burn, very long and I discontinued when in book two the hero tells her this new set of rules of when to get up, to go to bed, to do this and that, to message him every 30 min when she’s out with friends and all I could think was hell no, he’s too clingy - and that’s from someone who loves possessive guys.
There’s a lot of talk about the lifestyle but very tame kink scenes if at all. Maybe this will change in the later installments but I won’t read them. Kink in the bedroom hell yes, but I just don’t get the other stuff. To each their own. DNF

This book is amazing. This is the second book in this series and it takes you through the next step in forming the relationship between Xander and Charlie. Mr Lennox does this so well. The story has captivated me in ways that other BDSM books haven’t. His telling is so real that I found myself cheering them on. I definitely recommend this book and this author

Edge, the first book of the Discovering BDSM series from Drew A. Lennox, was one of my most pleasant surprises of last year. Romantic and realistic, it had a fantastic couple who I just fell in love with, and was told so beautifully that I never wanted the book to end.
To be entirely honest, I was a little hesitant about beginning Feather. I was afraid it could never match the original. As it turns out, I was right. It does not match the original . . . it so completely and totally exceeds it. I mean, everything I wanted to see in this second volume is here, and so much more.
Where the first book was a slow-burning romance, the sequel is more a romantic exploration of the BDSM scene. Charlie has already accepted Xander's collar, and is eager to continue exploring what it means to be his submissive. That is not to say that things come easy - there are genuine challenges and obstacles along the way - but every stripe is earned, accepted, and appreciated.
Once again, Lennox demonstrates a wonderful understanding of the power exchange dynamic, exploring the intellectual, emotional, and physical elements. There is no instant cut-over to perfect submissive, no single moment where Charlie becomes leaves her vanilla life behind. Instead, we see her continue to grow into her role and to thrive within it, finding new pleasures that surprise them both. We also get to see how Xander owns and dominates a submissive, keeping her on a short leash, and yet never forgetting the niceties of aftercare. There is a single scene involving a vibrating bullet, a bit of public humiliation, a verbal confrontation, and a tender bit of aftercare that demonstrates more about what BDSM is all about than anything else I have ever read.
The whole story is an incredibly erotic, wonderfully sensual read that had me feeling warm inside and out. There were so many little moments that spoke to my heart, so many words of wisdom that had me fingering my own throat, that I felt like I had finally found a book that understood me. And that, right there, is the power of Lennox's storytelling. It does not matter what gender you are or what role you play, you will find something of yourself here with which to identify. The story, the experiences, the pleasures, and the pain, it all resonates with a strength that is undeniable. There are some edgy moments to Feather, and more than a little mystery, and it has left me hungry for the third chapter.

Continuing on from edge Charlie has decided to go all in with Xander, is she aware fully of the lifestyle or will Xander through a few curveballs to ensure she understands fully the depth of a bdsm relationship.
They are two months into their relationship & things are going very well. Though Charlie still requires more discipline within certain areas, however Xander is more than happy to teach & correct her as & when needed.
Xander moves to be closer to Charlie and their relationship continues to go from strength to strength, and soon over a year has pssed. The book also has the other characters from edge as well as some new ones. The book takes a bit of a turn towards the end with Charlie finding out something that Xander did not want to tell as he thought it was not necessary, will their relationship be able to continue and grow or will things come to an end?
Can't wait to find out, this was an enjoyable read, the sex is hot but the relationship is key within this story which for me makes it a believable read.

After reading Edge I was very interested to see how far Charlie would go with BDSM. There was so many things that she does not understand but she is open to learning new things and also seeing a lifestyle outside of her normal life that brings fire to the relationship she has with Xander.
Xander is a patient teacher and he holds back from a lot of his desires to make sure Charlie is comfortable and she is safe. There is more to Xander and Charlie than the normal dom/sub relationship. There are actually feelings of friendship and the trust she has for him grows daily. Xander patience seems to grow over time. Often I felt a little bad for Charlie because she seems so lost and the growing desire that Xander has for her at times seem to overpower the need to take it slow because of his feelings. I love Xander’s way of making her face her fears of not only the lifestyle but also with her family and revealing things that are important to her.
I enjoyed this story and can’t wait for more!

I’m really enjoying this series. I’ve read plenty of BDSM romance books, but I love how this takes you through the journey from meeting online to how this book ends. Lots and lots of heat in this one!
The dynamic between Xander and Charlie is intense. I love that he adores her, and is being a patient—although it doesn’t seem he is at times—conscientious Dom. Charlie is pretty open to all Xander wants to do to her. She’s not losing her identify being Xander’s sub. He’s so supportive of her teaching career, her friends and family. All that’s important to her.
Their relationship has intensified in this book, both sexually and non-sexually. Charlie is proving to be quite the eager beaver, and Xander is amazed and grateful for the trust she has in him. I can’t wait for the next book!

Damn! I thought the first book in this series (Edge) was a well written book. I can tell you now that Feather is so much more. To complete the Vetting Period and to Begin the Consideration time….Brilliant. Charlie find that she is meant for so much more than she ever thought, while Xander is still holding back. Feather is perfectly paced for any reader, and clearly demonstrates why in fact entry into the BDSM Lifestyle is not by any means a quick process. Much thought and learning goes into anyone considering this. Feather magnificently covers this through the stories of Charlie and Xander. Feather is a work of art, one told by a fantastic author. Not only do I highly recommend this book/series, Drew now has a huge fan!

What I love the most about Feather and Edge (book one) is they aren't your normal BDSM books, they dive deeper into the lifestyle and aren't just focused on the sexual part.
Feather is the next level, the sensual part, consideration time. You're captivated from the beginning. You're left needing more, wanting more. I found myself loving the relationship between Xander and Charlie and rooting for them all the way.
Lennox is an amazing writer. He knows how to pull you into a story and holding you until the very end. The difference between him and other BDSM writers is that he's teaching you along the way. You're not just reading a story, you're learning about a lifestyle that isnt acceptable to most people.

I’d give this book more than five stars if I could! Another incredible read by Drew A Lennox, though I shouldn’t be surprised. This book has so much to offer - an incredible storyline, intrigue, main characters who not only have sizzling chemistry, but a bond and connection that leaves you breathless. I found this book grabbed me from the start and didn’t let go, in fact, I’m still hanging on.... waiting for the next life chapters of Xander and Charlie. Never before have I been so enlightened on a subject as I have with this series- and I love it. I really wanted to savour this book as I read it, take it all in, process, enjoy it. This book is well worth your time 👌~Angie❤️

I wasted no time reading the next installment of Xander and Charlie's journey into BDSM. Charlie's growth into submission is beautiful to witness, and her trust in Xander is inspiring. Their bond deepens, and Xander's guidance helps Charlie navigate the complexities of her desires.

While I enjoyed the story, there were a few personal preferences that didn't quite resonate with me. However, these minor issues, ftoy for instance, I guess you could say was my hard limit. 🤓

In the first book of this series that was just a sample of what was to come in the 2nd book and Drew deliver's in Feather. Take a journey into the sensual side of BDSM as Xander shows Charlie just how much a relationship can be when there is trust, but their's is more on a deeper level, because there's love involved and Xander who's never been in love to him it'll be a new experience for him as well as for Charlie as she takes the next step. This story pulled me in from the start to the end. This is definitely one you won't want to miss.

A GREAT book!!!
I didn't like this book because I LOVED,LOVED,LOVED this book!!! Anyone who thinks BDSM is abuse needs to read this book. It is so well written and with so much passion!! When I got to the end I was so sad it was over, but yay there is another book coming!!! Fell head over heels for Xander. I think every Dom out there should read this and take notes. Everyone should have an opened mind and no judging. Wow, what a world that would be. Cannot wait to read more by this amazingly talented author!

Feather was so beautifully written and yet so romantic. The bond between Charlie and Xander wasn't the only thing building between these two! They had my attention from start to finish. I love that Drew dives deeper than just sex and shows that there's more to BDSM that sex it's about love, trust, passion, and two people sharing something so special that they can be secure with what they have with each other. I can't wait for the next book to see where their story takes them in their journey! Drew is quickly becoming one of my favorite BDSM authors that I wouldn't hesitate to one click.

It's an awesome love story about 2 people falling in love with each other as 1 teaches the other about his BDSM lifestyle. I literally can't put this book down and can't get enough from this author.

If you think by the title this is just another "one of those" you couldn't be more wrong. I was. When I read Edge, I wasn't sure how I'd feel about a true BDSM story, it.surprised me to say the least. I found myself more and more focused on the story itself, not the lifestyle. Same thing here. The story itself is what drawls you in. And keeps you reading long into the night. Just like a great book should.

Feather is book 2 in this series. It starts right where Book 1 Edge stopped. Zander still is still a Romantic, Patient, Loving Dom and Charlie is still his eager to learn Sub. Their story is just more.......
Seriously I loved Edge, I think Feather is even better! I can't wait to read the next one, to see where Zander and Charlies story goes!!

Drew Lennox has done it again! I absolutely loved Feather! Not your typical BDSM story; I love Xander and Charlie together and watching their relationship evolve to the next level and their trust grow. I, also, really like that this series gives a realistic look at a BDSM relationship and lifestyle. It is not just a story full of BDSM fluff. Feather was a definite page turner for me! Drew Lennox has quickly become a top fave author! I can’t wait to see where he takes this series next.

Xander and Charlie's story just keeps getting better.
Moving at a slow pace for Charlie's sake, Xander has held his sadistic side at bay.
Charlie begins to come out of her comfort zone and willing to explore more.
Of course Drew leaves us hanging with a freaking cliffhanger...(picking up wine glass and throwing across room...)
Looking forward to part three...

Absolutely brilliant. This series takes you on a journey with an experienced Dom and a new sub. It explains many aspects of this lifestyle and the bond that develops in this type of relationship. I believe it's a true representation of a D/s relationship. It's powerful and exciting. Keeps you wanting more. Cannot wait until the next book. Drew Lennox is amazing at capturing the essence of a relationship and draws you in so you feel you are living it.

Where do I start? This book is absolutely fantastic. You can't help but fall in love with Xander and Charlie. This is book 2 in the series. I do recommend you read book one. The things that go on in this book just make your mouth water. I don't do spoilers, but one word Hotel Room. The writing and flow of this book is top notch. I highly recommend this book.

Three and a half stars. Whilst I enjoyed the storyline thus far it is still very slow paced. I almost feel like the time and energy Xander has spent training Charlie has been real. There are some very hot scenes in this book and it ends with a cliffhanger. Charlie really has come a long way however it seems that Xander has forgotten his own rule.

What can I say about Feather? Well, after reading Edge I couldn't wait to jump the bones of this book! Drew's words really keep you hanging and wanting more. As expected, Feather ups the ante and met my expectations. Another turn paging adventure into the BDSM world. I would highly recommend this book.

This book was a page gripper for me. Loved it from start to finish. Xander and Charlie are perfect, the love and emotion shared between them are a very true fitting dynamic to the lifestyle. Can not wait till the next book.

Feather was an amazing continuation of Xander and Charlie’s relationship. This book is definitely more sensual than Edge but I love how their story was told, both in a Dom/sub relationship and a romantic one. You will not be disappointed reading this series. Loved it!

Frankly I find the continuation of this series to be somewhat disturbing as although there is lots of talk about love and care, in reality there is a lot more mental conditioning than should be required in a truly open and consensual introduction of a girl into a properly caring relationship.
