i loved the plot. one of the few books to make me cry, esp when doing those 30+ paged reading guides!!! one of my favorite reads! the main characters complete arc made sense and the ending was one of the best! i COULD not believe the plot twist near the end of this beautiful literary work!! i def recommend !

One of my quickest times for a book. It was so fast-paced that I read it within 12 hours. Soo many twists that you won’t be expecting, humans are perplexing creatures after all. Totally recommend. I gave it two stars though because I just wish it had sequels :(

Just finished reading my last unit and I do feel very accomplished. But while useful this book and this topic are like chewing glass, sooooo boring. Hopefully I do well on the AP Test, hoping for at least a 4, will update when I get score. Wish me luck!

One star. Plot was lackluster, writing was dry and the romance subplot was nonexistent. The author uses repetitive language and there were absolutely zero plot twists.
Should’ve DNF’d at page 2! Never reading this author again!
Do not recommend - countless hours I’ll never get back 👎👎👎

This was horrible. Never recommend. i got a 4 on the exam but that does not mean i liked this book. David palmer not that i blame you but i definitely blame you because this sucked. I had to do a 200+ question reading guide on this and it was not worth it because i failed that test. No one ever take this class ever. emotional book. made me cry. Character arc (mine) was great. Definitely lots of emotion going on. So glad i know how to population pyramid. All i remember from this class was when my teacher told me to go to Carowinds amusment park. And gerrymandering. #hater

wow this book changed me (for the worse). i don't think i've cried this hard since i was born. truly an emotional, heart-wrenching book. it most definitely (did not) help me with my AP exam. wow. i'm truly a different person after this, a person with more knowledge. reading two days from start to finish before my exam was truly an information-retaining practice (i credit everything to mr. sinn on youtube). go read!!

Generally I love learning, so it didn't come as a surprise that this was pretty interesting to me, I'm taking AP Human Geography in my freshman year and I'm quite excited to start, should I be scared or anything...? I'm just doing the summer reading, vocabulary, and maps for the class. It seems pretty interesting to me at least.

This textbook is relatively succinct. Some chapters are as short as 3 pages. I like that. There are plenty of practice questions. I like that. There are tons of grammatical errors. I don’t like that.

hot take this book isn’t that terrible. now waiting until the night before and cramming annotations might have hindered my enjoyment but that’s what made it fun. amsco is my favorite bc it boosts my grade 🥹
