Issa Hood Love Story: Riley & Chance
Living in the fast streets of Philly, Riley manages to stay your average girl. Her mother and brother’s death, alongside her father’s drug habit, keeps her from living life to the fullest. Saving herself for the right one and staying out of harm’s way for her seemed to work, but that all changes when she meets the guy begging for a chance to be in her dull life. Chance is your normal hood boy; fast money excites him more than anything. He takes everything serious and his always ready to go to war mentality is what keeps him in trouble. Crossing paths with Riley was never in his plans. Riley felt she would never find love, especially from someone so handsome, so kind, so settled; life has become so perfect. In her eyes, everything is beginning to fall into place for her loveless life. Riley quickly realizes how fast little problems can be blown out of proportion and made into major complications. As situations grow, becoming a victim to someone else’s problems take its course. Will Riley be able to handle the new life she has entered or will she leave it all behind her? Will she find her hood love or will the hood snatch love away from her, again?

Omg this book was sooo good just like a real hood romance in real life. You fine the love you are doing good and just when you about to settle down either they get locked up or for some reason they die in you. I really feel bad for Riley because Chance definitely the right man for her. The ending broke my heart but Riley is a smart girl she’s going to make something out of herself. A good read it will pull at your emotion but still a good read.

This was a good addition to the series- quick and to the point. Storyline held my interest. That ending truly took me by surprise.

Must Read
If I could give this book more than five stars I definitely would. I loved this story line. Chance and his brothers were a trip. That was truly one cocky dude. Riley was a trip. I could only laugh at her. I felt bad for her when she went through what she did. That is something hard to deal with, but she had plenty of people behind her who made it known that they were there for her to help her heal. That ending messed me up though. It was so sad! Yona most definitely did that!!

Wow
Man just when she found love and finally was excepting it he was snatched from her like nothing! It was like he knew something was gonna happen and he planned her day all out for he and wanted to make sure she knew that he loved her and wanted her to be his wife and mother to all his babies only to finish and hear her say yes then that is it! Now this is one story I want more to! However it was the perfect ending because woh our chance that is it! Lord why though! Great job

A MUST READ!!!
No....why did it have to end like that? Please tell me there's going to be a follow up. Now, this book was so good from beginning to the very end. So bittersweet and had my mouth wide open..I was blown away had me in tears. Loved Chance for Riley, he took his time to get to know her, showed her real love. I would love to read more about Chance and Riley....maybe they found a pulse. Also more of Gunna and Leslie. This is definitely a hood love story and I loved it. Highly recommend. Job well done Yona.

Why? Did it have to end like this. After all that Riley has been through, she finally opens up her heart, and this happens. I loved Chance. He was there with and for her through the thick and thin, good and bad. I felt so bad for her. To the author, I know that this is just a story, but you had me shedding real tears like it was happening to me or my best friend in real life. Great job.

What just happened?!!
This book was sooo good. The book caught my attention from the beginning. Riley couldn’t catch a break, and just when she thought she had, BOOM, this author throws in a major twist. Chance was definitely bae. He knew a good thing when he found it, and showed his appreciation everyday. Now about this ending!! I know you lying!! There has to be a follow up with a joke saying I was just playing. That ending really hurt my heart.

I dont even know what to say. I wasnt expecting that. I was hoping this wasnt how it ended. However, i loved every page. Each page wasnt what i expected, which made me love it even more! I just wish we could get a spinoff 😊 to see how Riley ended up, did they end up having a baby? Great Novella!

After everything Riley has been through, she finally found love, only for it or be tooken away. I was really rooting for the two of them to be like Leslie and Gunna.My girl Leslie was all that, and Gunna was a gentleman but you don't want to get on his bad side. Nooooooo! Why did it have to end that way? Maybe if I close my eyes, things will change for the better. Riley finally found her happiness in Chance. They were all set to live their happily ever after but......You have to read the book to find out. I can’t believe Yoshi put that spin on this story.

Well.. This ending was different... not your typical happily after chance life was taken away from him before he was able to even live it with Riley just like everything else was taken from her I hate that she was not the ones that had the happy ending because she really deserved it

Chance was the perfect guy I hate he had to die like that. I was happy for Riley she really loved Chance they had the perfect love story. I m still trying to figure out how Gunna was there at the restaurant an the man got to Chance . but I guess the saying goes u live by the sword u die by the sword. I loved me some Chance.

I liked it
It was a good story to me. Chance was a good dude and I liked Riley. Their relationship was cute. I did not expect that ending though. There was a couple of parts that made me feel like I missed a part in the story but overall I liked the story and was hoping for the best for Riley and Chance

There we moments when I felt the story was over the place,but overall this was an alright book. Some things didn’t add up for example when they find Riley’s location at a particular part of the book. Leslie was cool as heck, Gunna was the funny, Chance was crazy, and Riley was naive. The ending had me in my feelings.

This book was good until it wasn't. I don't know. It was a lot of misspelling It just seemed like it was rushed to me. That's just my opinion, although it was a good story. It was going kinda all over the place and why would you kill one of the main characters at the end? Oh my god
