“Beat down a Voodoo priestess, took care of a bunch of zombies and ate a dozen oysters. Later I aim to save the world from the final Apocalypse.” So, if you need the impossible done and you have nowhere else to turn, call me. Sholto ‘Hex’ Gunn, warrior mage for hire. But bear in mind, the best don’t come cheap and I don’t do no charity work. Don’t insult me by asking for a discount.”
The four horsemen of the Apocalypse have decided to ride. But Hex has decided otherwise. And Hex don’t take kindly to the end of the world. Not on his watch.

My least favorite of the 4. The first part was boring, then it got really good for a while then the ending was REALLY lame. Like it took weeks/months to kill thousands of soldiers, but only too a few minutes to kill Death himself. Didn't really seem likely, at all. Like the end was WAY too rushed. Wasn't awful, but wasn't great. Enjoyable series over all.
This whole series was just so kick add good that I can't believe that there are no more in the immediate future to read.Crying not much. The story itself was high on adrenaline and moved a quite a pace. If you haven't guessed yet I totally loved this series and this author work. Well worth the time and read.
Hex stories are sinfully good. Once you start reading, you cannot put the book down! Just make sure you are not scheduled for an important meeting or you will miss it!
