Dragon shifters are the best!
Review of Dragon keepers series by Kimber White
I finally took the time yesterday to finish the Dragon keepers series written by Kimber White. I had finished books 1-3 months ago and have had books 4 and 5 in my Kindle Library for some time. Yesterday was a rainy day in Missouri and rather then do housework or nap, I settled down with a cup of tea, my fuzzy blanket in my recliner in front of my big picture window. With the dogs napping at my feet, the gentle rain falling outside and the birds performing for the Birdfeeder Olympics on my outdoor deck I finally clicked on Book 4, Claimed By Fire. Before I knew it, several hours had passed , my husband was calling me to dinner and I had completed book 4 and was more than halfway through the final book, Freed By Fire. I was so engrossed in the world of dragon shifters, magic and finding true love, I had no idea where time had gone. The house could have been on fire, zombies could have invaded my lower 40 acres , the world could have ended, and I would have never known, as I was far away on the West Coast in another dimension! This is exactly why I love reading anything Kimber White writes! She has the ability to transport you to another place and time, with the magic of her written words. Since this is why I read, a brief escape from everyday life, Kimber White has earned a special place on my bookshelf. The Dragon keepers series by Kimber White is a wonderful way to spend a lazy rainy afternoon.
The series consists of five books that follow the five billionaire dragon shifters, The Brandhart brothers, whose very successful enterprise is based in the Gold Coast of Chicago. Of course, the brothers are sexy alpha billionaires as we all know that dragons love their treasure! The brothers are a dying breed, their mother the Dragon Queen, Avelina, having survived the shifter and mage war, brought the brothers to life over 300 years ago. As far as the Brandharts and the world are concern, dragons are extinct. However, Avelina, continues to search for other dragon survivors who may be living in hiding. She sends her sons on quests throughout the world, following clues that might lead to finding others like themselves. The brothers are all beginning to show signs of “mating sickness” and are in danger of losing control of their dragons. Thus, finding their “fated mates” is imperative but to the brothers it may be as unlikely as the chances of finding anymore dragon shifters.
But there is more to this series then alpha males trying to find their “little woman”. Kimber’s heroines are not your submissive victim type females. Everyone of her female characters prove to be some bad-ass women who know how to kick -ass and take names. Its torture to a protective alpha male, but it adds a little spice to the relationship. And boy is the sex spicy and just a little bit on the dangerous side given a dragons propensity to bursting into flame when worked up!
Like many paranormal romances, there is plenty of steamy love scenes. What I especially enjoy about Kimber’s writings is that the sex does not dominate the story. There is plenty of action, mystery, magic and intrigue to go along with the passionate love story that makes this a romance. There are twists and turns in the plot that you never see coming. And of course, there is always a happily ever after waiting for you at the end.
Each of the five books are listed as a “stand-alone” novel. I would recommend reading the books in order they were written in order to get the full gist of the story. Also, it would be a shame to miss out on how masterfully Kimber weaves the storyline together and how her characters develop and grow as the series progresses. I am convinced you will come to love all the individuals in the tales and hate to leave the Brandharts behind.
I loved all five books and gave each 5-star rating. Unlike other series I have read, Lord of the Rings in particular, where one or two of the books are very well written and another just leaves you flat, in the Dragon Keepers collection, all five books are excellent. I found myself unable to put the books down. I lost a lot of sleep and my house looks like a tornado struck it, but it was well worth it. The books held my attention from page 1 till the end. And at the end I found myself not wanting to say goodbye to my new book friends. I hope this is not the last time I see or hear from the Brandhart dragons. If we are lucky, Kimber White has a sequel or two in mind.
So, if you are looking for your next good read, fall in love with Kimber White’s dragons. It is well worth the fall and like me, you may find yourself soaring away with dragons, magic and most of all love.

This is an outstanding dragon shifter romance that is totally captivating to read.
I found the story-line and plot, suspenseful & well-written with some unexpected surprises. The characters are well developed with individual traits.
It is about a dragon shifter (Finn Brandhart) who has trouble trying to keep his dragon under control. He comes into contact with a fire mage (Gemma Hayes) whom he thinks is his fated mate, but there will be trials & tribulations on the horizon for them.
There is: dragon shifters, dragonstones witches, fire mages, covens, magic, fated mates, intrigue, twists & turns, secrets, threats, verbal conflict, anger, fear, spells, emotional turmoil, deceit, betrayal, confrontation, conflict, peace, trust, happiness, love & some steam.
I enjoyed this dragon shifter romance and look forward to future novels from this author.

Finn & Gemma
Finn is on another quest to find a mate for himself and or his brothers. It isn't only loneliness. A mate is necessary to control his dragon side. Without a mate, his dragon will cause untold damage and death.
Gemma's witch magic was in trouble. She had to control her fire. Meeting Finn started a kinship and more. While he continued his quest, she had more trouble with her coven. Keeping her problem hidden was a must. Yet, the secrets about to be revealed would test her control at the best of times.
The author builds a unique world with exceptional characters. Love is magic in this case magic love among magics. I recommend this as a good read as always from the author.

Oh my goodness gracious dragons, this was another remarkably amazing book written by Kimber. Finn has been sent on a mission by Avelina, his mother, to uncover the history of the dragonstone taken by the wolf clan. Finn is a bit resistant to the idea of how his mother wants to do this, but he knows she is usually right, so he perseveres. However, Finn never expected to find his mate, Gemma who is a fire witch and also belongs to the Coven his mother is trying to use to do the spell responsible to learn more about this dragonstone!
Such a great story and I know the next about Finn’s brothers will be out of this world spectacular❣️Thank you Kimber for my advanced copy for which I leave my honest review and my eagerness for Loch’s story next😍

I loved this book! It was really great! I've read the other books in the series and I didn't think I would love any other brother as much as Gideon or Xander but Finn was awesome! He's become my new favorite dragon. Loved his story. It really touched me. I enjoyed the enemies to fated mates story line. I loved how strong and independent Gemma is and that her relationship with Finn makes her even stronger. Loved the twist at the end that I didn't see coming, I won't give it away for anyone that hasn't read it as of yet! A must read! I cannot wait to see what comes next with Loch and his plan for revenge. I would recommend this book and the series to anyone that enjoys reading paranormal romance! 10 stars!

Wow I’m loving this series, each book centres on the same issue but are very different from the last read. This was based on Finn and Gemma. Finn has been sent to purchase land but not any land, it’s coven land. It’s a bargaining chip to push the witches to help them with a spell, what he doesn’t know is coming face to face with Gemma Hayes, a fire mage will change him forever. Gemma is out of control and doesn’t know why but meeting Finn changes her powers, why? Fate has the answer.
Great read, plot, characters. I enjoyed this story, it was filled with cute moments some sexy moments but also lots of angst and a twist which was a turning point. Again previous characters were present in the story which I love in a series. Looking forward to Loch’s story.

Finn is one of the last Dragon shifters in the world and on of Avelina's sons the olds Dragon 🐉. She sent him in a mission. To Durness to talk to the Circean witches and make a deal for a spell.
Gemma is a Circean witch and has lived in Durness all her life. Her power is fire but ever since she turned 20 it's been getting away from her.
The story was great . I loved the characters. Lots of action, betrayal, mystery, drama, spice, and much more. The spice between Gemma and Finn was melting! I couldn't out this book down. Don't miss it.
I can't wait for the next book to come out.

Marked By Fire is the third book in Kimber White's Dragonkeepers series. This is Fin's story. I must say I love this series. It's new and refreshing. Each book brings new intrigue, back story, secrets, fear, hopes and love. Marked By Fire will have you on the edge of your seat an several places and gasping in others. I can't wait for the next book. I'm excited to see what Avelina, Queen of the Dragons, has in store for her sons next. I received an ARC from the author. This is my voluntary honest review.

Finn another smoking hot dragon brother! Looking for answers he finds more questions among the ancient trees in the Pacific Northwest. Sent by his mother Finn is supposed to meet a witch with answers. But he becomes bewitched. Fiery and blazing hot Marked by Fire is a sinfully delicious addition to Kimber’s new dragon series! Don’t miss out but bringing me plenty of ice cold water as it does get hot in between the pages.

Another good book in this series. I loved seeing the witches and about covens in this as well which made this more supernatural and perfect for October.
I do think however all the books are pretty much following the same story each one which is kinda saddening me as I don't feel there's a lot to excite me anymore but I am looking forward to reading the other two books and seeing how this series ends.

What an awesome tale Ms White weaves in this 3rd book in the Dragonkeepers series. Magic abounds with witches and dragons, and a couple will meet and become fated mates working together to find what has been hidden. Loved this book and can't wait for the next book.

This series just keeps getting better with every story. It a family saga of dealing with loss, betrayal and the will to survive. It is one of the best fantasy series I've ever read.

Another great continuation of the series. It seems this author knows how to weave other magical worlds into the dragon world. Gemma and Finn for perfect for one another. I look forward to finding out who the mate is for the next brother.

I'm so happy for another book about the Barnhart Brothers.
Okay, the author made me wait a little longer than I thought I needed to for this story but it was well worth waiting.
Gemma and Finn
Can we say two people who should not come together will make an explosion of Epic Proportion.
Gemma is a fire mage with control issues.
Then is a dragon also slowly losing his mind.
Each has something to hide and to protect but only if I coming and working together will they be able to root out evil. Hidden truth we'll set Gemma free. And hidden knowledge will be twisted until an unlikely source brings clarity in Salvation possibly to the other Barnhart Brothers.

I thoroughly enjoy reading every book that Kimber White releases. I’m always amazed when I think the last book was the best and then she tops herself and writes something even better!
Marked by Fire is a combustible love story. Finn and Gemma face many obstacles, but they overcome all with fire magic.
