An epic tale of people with supernatural powers that traverse the values of family relationships, friendships, love and self-integrity. The story is a widened tale of the nine people and their brotherhood which finally come towards to the extend of using their powers as an aid to the external world.

The book is a recommendation to all who like to read a good fantasy novel. The reader will not be succumbed to any sort of boredom instead, will be instinctively forced to go ahead till the final pages are turned. A very good read and a brilliant debut by the author. The writing and character description is exceptionally well.

The novel is a sincere coming-of-age story that would appeal more to children and young adults. It is a welcoming change from the gritty realism of dark fantasies that have been flooding our bookshelves in the recent times.

Positive, hopeful, and fun, it is a simple tale about Kalith, a boy who can phase not only through space but also time. Accidentally, in a fit of panic and rage, he travels back in time to the kingdom of Agnipur. There, he is taken under the wing of Guru Chellamani, a minister to the King and a mentor to a group of individuals who have supernatural abilities just as crazy as his.

The novel follows his journey from a scared little child to a strong and resilient member of the King’s bodyguards. On his way, he makes new friends, and enemies; he faces his worst fears and experiences what it feels like to have a family.

The novel does an excellent job when it comes to its characters. There are more than ten important characters in the novel. Each one of them is given time to shine and leave a mark on the readers. We are able to know, understand, and connect with these characters along with the protagonist.

The novel could do better in terms of its plot progression. Even the way it treats history is somewhat underwhelming. However, in spite of its flaws, the story has ample amount of heartfelt moments that makes you really care about the story and the characters in it.

The story is full of powerful characters of strong and powerful Indian superheroes (Men and Women).
This book is origin story of those nine men and women who follows their journey and evolve together to face any situation.
Author is showing you a positive outlook of the things sometimes you can't handle, things which seems unfair in life.
And she is inspiring you to keep moving, keep fighting with the best and strongest of you.
Must read novel for fiction lovers.

I just finished the first part of Kalith. And the story was something I just can’t express in word. It was just marvellously awesome. I enjoyed each and every part of the story and also the characters. Some of my favourite characters were Guru Chellamani, Tanishta, Tinley, Kalith. I liked all the characters and all of them were quite special. In the beginning I found the story a little lengthy but as the training came I started enjoying it and all the events were filled with a lot of suspense as one by one all the characters were revealed and I was every time very eager to know their powers. I really enjoyed the book and it will always be one of my favourite books of all time. It is a complete Indian fantasy novel. Hope you don't miss it!!!

The story is exceptional, realistic and gripping!

This book has entered my top 10 favourite books of all time! The writing! The story! The characters! Oh god! The book just keeps getting better and better and the second half of the book will blow your mind away! The characters! Vanathi, Vikramaditya, Yavonne, Daiwick are few of my favourites! And the journey of discovering every character.. their journeys, their histories.. their powers! Its amazing. So amazing and so well thought through!

It is definitely one of the best Indian fantasy period story in the recent years! Seriously there is nothing you don't experience in this book.. it will take you on an emotional rollercoaster! I loved the amount of connect I developed with each and every character! I literally felt I was there.. I could feel their pain I could feel their struggles.. I loved the way the author has brilliantly developed all the 9 characters and each and every one of them have their own space, value and importance in the book. It is a huge task to juggle that many characters in such a way that every character gets the same amount of importance and none of them get sidelined, as it happens in many books. I simply loved this book!

It is an amazing book! Waiting impatiently for the second book of the series!

This book is a doorway to the beautiful world of Kalith! Make sure you don't miss it!

A grand fantasy full of powerful characters, majestic landscapes, interesting backstories and well written combat scenes. The whole shell surrounding the characters is so intricate and detailed that it really brings the whole thing to life and you feel a strong emotional connect with them. The picturisation is so vivid that it creates an everlasting memory of Kalith's world in the mind of the readers. Author has taken a lot of pain and risk in explaining minute details of characters and places which is very rare. Language is simple yet effective and can cater to readers from wide age profile. The characters of Guru Chellamani, Tanveer, Vanathi and Vikramaditya are few of my favourites. I still can't get over the feeling that book has ended and I have to wait for some time to continue my journey in Kalith's world. Eagerly waiting for the next book in the series!
