Here comes the secret baby/second chance romance of Rock and Piper. Rock learns the most important information about the bad one in the team from his friend only to be run over by a speeding car. He is even more shocked to see his rescuer. Piper returns home to Redding as an ER Doctor with her son fathered by Rock. She rescues Rock from the road and when he learns the truth from her, he wants to be a part of their life. But Piper is wary of allowing him because of the MC Club. Rock swears to protect them and he spends time with his son and he still holds a torch for her. The club members move forward with their plan of taking out the bad guy and Rock goes MIA in lieu of these events. Piper fears for the uncertainty of his life and her heart goes out to him. Will they be a family as they wished or is Piper right all along to try and keep Rock out if their lives?? What happened to the Black Sheep on the team??
Piper and Rock are such bad asses and they are perfect for each other. Piper comes across as an absolute mother figure for leaving behind her adventurous streak to care for her son. And Rock the tough guy, how a child brings the hard man to his knees. Very good family story with it's heat touch and anticipating pace.

Rock was the fourth book in the Dead Souls MC series by Savannah Rylan.
For each book in the series, the storyline had three main threads. The first thread always revolved around the relationship. In the case, Rock was a one night stand guy. We knew that previously but what we didn’t know, was that he had a lost love who left him five years ago and his one night stands were an unsuccessful effort to forget her. Enter Piper.
Piper left for med school five years ago without a good bye, but she had her good reasons. She was now back and hoping to avoid a certain biker at all costs. I enjoyed getting to know both characters. Piper drove me up the wall at times, but I could partially understand...at times. You’ll just have to read it to experience it for yourself.
Along with the relationship development, there were two other themes running simultaneously within the series that focused on MC suspenseful plots. During Rock one of the major plots came to a conclusion. I enjoyed Rylan’s unraveling of the details as the series progressed and I appreciated Rylan’s fairly quick conclusion in Rock.
The MC President, Diesel, is up next in the conclusion to the series. And what a way to end. I totally can’t wait to see what happens with Diesel and how all the plot threads will align. Bring it on!

Still a good story. Still like the characters. Still invested in finding out what’s going to happen with the mole in the club.
This, as well as the others in the series, would be 5 star reads except for the numerous misspelled words, sentences that make absolutely no sense, hair color changes (I swear Ms Rylan does it on purpose!), and inconsistencies in the storyline.
Heck, even the blurb isn’t what the book is about!
Once again: Ms Rylan, you need an ARC and beta team that will fix your many, many mistakes. They are doing you no service. You should want to make your books better. It’s sad that you don’t.

Pipper was my all time least favorite h, she was so immature and her back and forth was annoying. Her 5 year old has more mature thinking then her. Also the author has to fix her sex scenes they are so cringy I had to fast forward through them. If I heard about her juices one more time i was ending it. Please stop with the juices!

In this book we have Rock, who is a member of the Dead Souls MC Club. Rock is there tech guy, he does a lot of the behind the scenes stuff no one else wants to learn. Rock has done many things for his club. He’s gone to jail for them and put his love life basically on hold. Ever since Piper left him 5 yrs ago he can’t seem to get serious with anyone else.
Piper is a ER Dr who has recently come back to Redding, CA. Her son Gavin is 5 yrs old. Gavin has never known his father, it’s always been Piper and Gavin. Piper has always provided for Gavin and has alley taken care of him. Being an ER Dr she is very busy with long 12 - 14 hr shifts.

This is the 4th story from the Dead Souls MC Club. We finally get to read about Rock who is their tech guy and Piper who has returned home to Reading, PA after 5 years being away at school. Piper and Rock had a summer together that was full of sex and crazy adventures. Piper goes back to school and Rock goes to jail for his MC even though he did not do the crime. Rock lives his life with many one night stands never forgetting what he had with Piper. Let’s say Piper has made many decisions on her own and ends up completing medical school and returns an ER Dr. bringing her 5 year old son, Gavin! Rock and his MC family are still dealing with a RAT in their club. While Rock is out riding his bike he is taken out by a car and crashes into a ditch and Piper is the one who comes out of her home to help him. After Rock wakes up and all the pieces from the last 5 years come together causing both their worlds to turn upside down. Rock can not believe that he is a father and Piper is not ready to have Rock become responsible for HER son. The boys spend some beautiful time together playing and Gavin is just happy to have a man around not knowing who Rock really is to him. Piper and Rock learn to make things good between them but will those out to destroy the MC cause them more problems then Piper wants around her and Gavin? Can Rock figure out what’s going on before they get hurt? I am looking forward to Diesel’s story! I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Fantastic MC ROMANCE novel about the CHANGES LOVE can bring.
Savannah Rylan is my kind of writer. Her prose is smooth, rich, and easy to read. Rylan’s characters are realistically quirky, damaged and/or doing the best with what life has dealt them, and so well-developed through the alternating point of view that this reader would not be surprised to see them walk off the page into real life. Add to that her character-driven plots, which are both complex and compelling, it is easy to see why author Rylan is one of my top ten favorite romance authors. In “ROCK” the members of the Dead Souls MC have their hands full already – protecting themselves from those who would kill them, and the “rat” or mole within their ranks who is working for those enemies. Their tech man, Rock, is doing his best to find this mole, perhaps getting too close to the answer, when circumstances put him back into the life of a summer fling, Piper, and her son Gavin. Now Rock’s life has a new “complication.” Can he find the mole, save his club and protect his family? Readers will have to pick up a copy of “ROCK” to get those answers and hours of STEAMY entertainment. I read it through the night, unable to put “ROCK” down until I had finished the very last word. well what do you know, it's time for the one brother that talks the most noise, "Rock". First of all, I have to say, I'm so excited that this book quite literally picked up where "Brewer" left off. In the hospital, only they were trying to find out why Brewer had the reaction he did and went unconscious. I'm on the edge of my seat because for the first time, I already know. Brewer knows who the rat is and I'm ready for him to tell it. Don't get too excited, SR dragged that part out a bit, to get into Rock's story. Rock's backstory explains what happened when he was a prospect and why he took the fall for Brewer and went to jail all those years ago. SR is always really detailed about the backstories and how they relate to the series and I love that. In his past though he also met a woman and spent the summer with her before getting locked up. She was trying to decide what she wanted to major in college and just needed to relax. She was born and raised in Redding so surprise surprise when she moves back and is now an ER doctor. That is not the only shocker. I love these little plot twists. They make me giggle. Of course the rat is still running around and knows that since Brewer is out of commission, Rock is the next option to go into jail and take care of Rex. Next thing you know Rock is in their sights. This book becomes really fast paced as Rock deals with the club issues and with his past coming back. It's nonstop and so much fun to read. I loved it.

Rock, Book 4 of the Dead Souls MC Series by author Savannah Rylan is another superb entry in this Redding, PA saga. Rock, another member of the club is more tech savvy and this will come in handy as the club continues to sniff out who is the traitor.
Back in town with her five year old son Gavin, is Piper. She is now an ER Physician and is living in the home she grew up in. Six years ago her and Rock had a summer fling then he went to prison and she went off to college. By accident (literally) they meet again. A lot has changed. The changes throw them both off guard and makes them rethink their paths in life. The one criticism I did see is how Piper came across Rock and responded. As an ER Doctor and someone trained in first aid, she would not have responded the way she did. That's not how first aid is taught to respond, but to first dial 911. But, I understand moving the plot and him into her house. It just came across as to contrived.
VERDICT: Generally speaking I liked this book except for the one aforementioned criticism and I continue to like the series. The author has, so far, done an excellent job with the overall storyline that is running through the books. The characters are all unique enough to follow their story and I like they do not drop off the face of the earth when their turn in the spotlight is over. I am volunteering to leave a review of this ARC book.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the fourth book in the Dead Souls MC series, In this book, Brewer has told his best friend Rock that he knows who the rat in the MC is and they make plans to tell Diesel. Rock is shocked at this news and needs time to himself to sort through this. When Rock goes for a ride, he is run off the road and while laying in a ditch, he is found by Piper, a woman he had a fling with a few years prior. Piper is now a doctor and has returned to Mayhem to work in the ER and when she sees Rock, she knows her past has found her again. Piper has a five year old son and when Rock sees him, he knows he is his. Rock wants to protect Piper and Gavin, but he wants to be with them too. Rock wants to get the MC's threats taken care of so he can be with his family. I love this series. I thought Rock was really a good guy who really loved Piper, even when they were together in the past. I think he was hurt by her returning to New York and he didn't allow him to get close to another woman. I think Piper loved Rock, but she was scared of his lifestyle. I loved them together and i loved the way Rock was with his son. I couldn't put this one down and i am really looking forward to reading Diesel. Good one.

After 5 years of being away, she doesn't know what ever became of Rock, the man she loved and gave her so much, but didn't give her all of him. But when she runs into Rock, their meeting is a less than ideal and she must come clean, but at what cost! Can Rock be the man she needs him to be? Or was she right all along with leaving him out of her life and Gavin's?

Whenever I see a book by Savannah, I never need to read the blurb but automatically buy it. Savannah is a fantastic storyteller and her books are always amazing. “Rock” is no exception. This book has so much depth, intrigue, suspense, passion, great sex.....everything I want in an MC story. Bad boy Rock is the Tech guy for the Dead Souls MC. Rock and Piper once had a fun summer fling and when Rock ends up in jail, Piper leaves to finish her degree. After five years, Piper returns as a Doctor and hiding quite the surprise. I have to say this is another great book in the series. Rock the one who is always saying don’t get tied down don’t be having babies has a shock coming for him. One summer fling that he hasn’t forgotten in over 5 years, A one summer fling she continues to look at daily. Yes that’s right after Rock got put in jail Piper left back to New York with a great big surprise. Rock was in jail and she was pregnant.... She weighed the options and never figured she would see him again. With work in New York and a failed promotion Piper is offered a chance to come back to Redding as an ER doctor. Thinking Rock is still in jail she moves home with her 5 years son Gavin, Rocks son. With the problems with the club the attack on Brewer Rock got to tracking Mick and finds himself laid out in a ditch and passed out. And who finds Rock and nurses him back to health of course you can guess... Well grab your copy and find out who and why all this is happening and see if a summer fling can have the HEA we all look for. Can’t wait for the next.

A well written second chance with baby romance full of drama, twists, danger, suspense and passion. This is fouth in the Dead Souls MC Club series and it involves reaccuring characters and is it a very well developed storyline told in alternating POV'S. Piper having now finished med school moves back home with her 5 year old son Gavin and becomes an ER doctor. Gavin is the tech guy for the club and had to spend time in prision for a crime he did not commit after a summer with Piper that was full of sex and crazy adventures which then Piper leaves town and goes to medical school. 5years later the MC's are dealing with a rat in the club feeding information to a rival club. Rock must be getting to close because he is suddenly run off the road and flipped into a ditch. Piper hearing a noise goes to investigate and is slammed with memories when she realizes it is Rock the man she has never forgotten or stopped loving. A great edge if your seat and you read page after page wanting to know all the answers while hoping for a HEA. I voluntarily reviewed this amazing standalone ARC.

Good book
The series gets better this one is Rocks story and his past clones back to bite him on his rear. He has always given the other guys a hard time when they have settled down with their women declaring that the club life is no place for families. He is knocked off his bike one night and his past is there in front of him the only girl he ever loved and the five year old son he didn't know he had. The club is still trying to deal with their traitor and Brewer knows who it is and they need to set a trap for him. Rock is desperately trying to keep his woman and son safe and away from trouble and ends up killing Mick the traitor to keep them safe. They do end up together but danger is still around the corner and Diesel needs to arrange a meet with another club to get their support, this is going to be hard for him as his past is mixed up with that club. This was another good book in the series and I look forward to Diesel's story and what should be the climax to their troubles.

Another great story, This Rock and Piper story, they first met one summer when piper came home from medical school for her fathers funeral. fast forward 5 years when Rock comes crashing back in to Piper's life and Rock finds out a surprise. They still have the same Sizzling HOT Chemistry 5 years on as when they first hooked up. There plenty of drama plus we also find out who the 🐀RAT is. Thats it you get no spoilers from me. I voluntarily read an Advanced Readers Copy. Bring on Diesel

I really appreciate the way that this was written because it makes you feel like you are in the book. Rock is awesome, sexy, determined and wants to understand why the other men in the club think that having a family is a good idea. Then Piper comes back into his life when he least expects it. Piper is a beautiful, sexy and hot ER doctor in the town where they met some years earlier. What Rock doesn't know is that when they spent that month together is that he got Piper pregnant with her son, Gavin. Piper comes back to town knowing that she will run into Rock. Little does she know it will be sooner than later. I can't wait for the next one.
I couldn't put it down. Lots of action, emotional turmoil and romantic situations.

This is Rock, Piper and Calvin's story.
As with the previous Dead Soul books we have a strong alpha who will do anything, Anything, to keep his new found family safe. Rock is the tech guy for the club and he really doesn't think all the guys falling for their women and having kids is a good thing. Then Piper, his one love returns and she has a surprise. Rock will do a complete turn around.
Piper is the female version of Rock. Fiercely protective of her son and trying to do everything she can to give him a good life.
The scene where she is sitting on Calvin's bed believing she has failed him is every single parent at some point.
I've loved all the men so far, but Rock may be at the top.
Can't wait for Diesel's book.

Wow! Rock was awesome!
Well, this book starts where Brewer left off. Rock is still in disbelief that someone tried to kill his best friend. He knows they are getting close to finding out who the threat is so when Brewer tells him what he knows he is left reeling but knowing that they are close to shutting down this threat real soon. But what happens when fate lands him in the arms of the one woman that got away, Piper.
This addition to the series was simply brilliant! I was hanging on every page to find out what happens next to the Dead Souls MC and the women they love.
This book is part of a series and is best read in order.

They met up again by accident, when he was injured in front of her house, and she helped him. That was how he found out he was a father, and that he still loved her. They have both had feelings for each other all along,and didn’t think they would ever find each other again. Now they can make their dreams of each other come true and have a full live and family together.

Practice what you preach
Rock was always running his mouth about the lifestyle they lived. The guys in the club shouldn't have families due to the risk.
They knew they had a rat amongst them but they had to figure out who. Brewer went to Rock with his suspensions, then they had to gather Intel.
Driving the back roads one night, Rock was run off the road into a ditch. The house across the street was inhabited by the ER doctor, Piper Jackson and her son Gavin. She went outside to see if he was hurt. She helped him to her home & stitched him up. When he woke, he found it was his girlfriend from the past and seeing Gavin, he knew right away that he had a son.

Piper is back in town with her 5 yr. old son. She hasn't seen Rock in a little over 5 years and now she has to face the man who left her when he was thrown in prison.
By trying to make it safe for them Rock has to get his hands dirty but by not communicating with Piper he puts what they are trying to build in jeopardy.
It was a surprise for Rock to find out he has a son but of course the author couldn't let the Gavin know the he was his father.
The sex scencs are mediocre and really skim them because I just can't get into them.

Piper met Rock at a time in her life when she lost her father and was a medical student home for the summer. When Rock took the rap for one of his MC Brother’s he lost all contact with Piper. It’s been five years since the two have seen each other and this visit comes at the cost of Rock being side swiped by a car outside of Piper’s home. When he comes to, he is shocked that he is in the home of his old love and even more so to learn that he has a son. With all the drama that his MC is undergoing will he be able to keep Gavin and Piper safe from the danger that plagues his MC? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.

This series just keeps getting hotter! Rock comes face to face with a son he had no idea existed. Piper has moved back to her home town with her son hoping things will work out for her and him. The rat still exists and the club is trying to get things figured out while their families are in danger. Babies are on the way and the club is in constant danger. This is an excellent addition to the series. It was over faster than it started for me. I cannot wait to see what happens in Diesel's book!!!

It's been years but Rock still can't forget his time with Piper. Even though the time they had together was short, those memories are burned in his mind and he can't forget. Rock didn't expect to see Piper again but when he does, he soon realizes a secret Piper has kept hidden all those years. Rock knows now more than ever, he can't let her go again....Loved the story! This characters have good chemistry and the story is full of action!

Holy cow between Rock and Brewer I'm on emotional overload. Rock still can't believe he almost lost his best friend. While on a ride to clear his head someone tries to take him out. Piper comes back into his life when she finds him and turns his world upside. The twists and turns, ups and downs, continue as Rock tries to find his was with his new found family. Again I was on the edge of my seat for this wild ride. I can't wait to read Diesel's story.

Even though they were separated 4 around 5 yrs. He still kept thinking about her and used others as a distraction and so did she but not near as bad as he did. They were all in shock that a person they trusted betrayed them and they treated him good. Rock tried his best not 2 screw things up but he flipped out a little after he figured her big we get out and there was no denying it. Rock made a promise that he will always keep 2 keep his family safe from harm whether like it or not.

Gavin and Piper
This is the fourth book in this series and it does not disappoint. When Rock and Piper see each other after he runs off the road with his bike many questions need to be answered. They both recognize each other and especially when Rock sees Gavin. He realized the boy is his. Also the art is found and taken care of. Can't wait for Diesel. Recommend!!

Amazing Rock
I loved this book. It wasn't just another amazing chapter in the Dead Souls series. It was a sweet second chance at love romance, a red hot steamy biker story, and almost the final revelation in the mystery thread that the author has woven throughout this series. I absolutely loved Rock and Piper,. Now I can hardly wait for Diesel's book !
