This is an exciting action packed MC romance story.Grave was the protector of the club. When everyone was getting ready to go out drinking Grave said no he didn't feel like it.Everyone was teasing him about the way he flirted with Everly. But he couldn't stop thinking about her also worried if she was ok.When Everlys brother came home bitching because she hasn't prepared dinner she told him that she's order pizza.Just as she was about to call order it the cops broke her door entering they arrested her brother for murder when he looked at her he told her he knew she was the rat and he's get her for it.Every got scared grabbed clothes put everything in a bag and took off to the Dead Souls club house. When she saw only one bike she knew someone was there if she had to wait in her car for someone she would.Grave finally opened the door as she brushed against him he had to fight to not grab her and have his way with her.Never had he ever wanted a woman like he wanted Everly. The danger at every corner,a possible that in their own club. It's getting hard to keep Everly safe. Will Grave and Everly give into their feelings? Who keeps giving out information putting Everly and Grave in danger? Will Grave be able to keep the woman he loves safe?If he loses her he'll kill everyone involved.I love the way Savannah brings this story to life before your eyes. The characters are great the story riveting and I'm begging for more.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.I voluntarily decided to review this advanced reader copy because it's a great adult M C romance story.I can't get enough.

Grave was the second book in the Dead Souls MC by Savannah Rylan.

Grave began where book one, Knox, left off. Everly, the sister to a rival MC club member, had come forward to the Dead Souls to right a wrong that she had witnessed. Sparks immediately ignited between Grave and Everly; which kicked in Grave’s protective instincts. Rylan then took us through some suspenseful twists and turns while still navigating the plot threads from the previous book. It was action packed and full of mystery. It was intriguing with the only drawback, the number of editing errors.

Although Grave and Everly’s story was being written, the common suspenseful saga will continue to develop throughout the series. Brewer is up next! Onward and Upward!

It was very easy to get invested in but the plot wasn't that good, to much plot holes and many other things that I got slightly annoyed at. Might give another book in the series a try even tough I think this needed more work in it, it did still have potential to be entertaining

Hmm this is a hard book to grade, whilst I enjoyed it there were some really big problems with it.

The plot was frankly ridiculous

Why would the sister of a rival mc club rat on her brothers club to their enemy? everyly approaching the dead souls In the first place was stupid, she had no reason to go to them. Then she trusts them n goes live with one of their members straight away?

Then grave leaves her alone when he's supposed to be protecting her. Stupid. Then he leaves her again n she's alone In the lodge taking a carefree bath with no windows in the lodge, glass everywhere n the gun left in the kitchen,? Stupid

They still use their own cellphones. Nobody took out their batteries n sims, checked for a find my friend app etc stupid. They didnt even sweep the clubhouse till the very end, stupid! Grr

Then that stupid epilogue, ffs we find she's 3 months pregnant but needs help standing and is showing a big tummy - wtf? sorry was this written by a 13 year old? There's no way she'd be showing - the baby is minute still, then in the next breath it says she's 4 months. Ugh didnt the author read her own book? Did no one proofread this book? Obviously not!

So many stupid plot issues

Also lots of spelling mistakes or incorrect words. Needs editing.

Sex scenes meh left me cold just didnt feel it between these two. Insta love shit again.

Notwithstanding that -I still enjoyed the book albeit frustrated.

Not up to same standard as book 1

Grave and Everly 3.5 stars

Well its a fast pace story for book 2. Still wondering if there is a rat in the club.. I loved Grave but Everly was just annoying in this one. If I had to read about all the tears, silent tears and her getting sick, throwing up I was gonna get sick myself. It was repetitive and I found myself skimming over it a lot. Hopefully Brewers story will be better otherwise it will be my last read and off to another author.

Listened to audio narrated by Paul Brion and Melissa Barr. I'm not always a fan of duo narration but I thought they did a good job.

Grave is the protector and punisher in the Dead Souls and ever since he's been obsessed about her.
Everly has been in danger since she told the Dead Souls that her brother killed a man. When they finally arrested her brother he figured out she was to blame and she ran to Grave's for help.

At this point I thought I was really going to enjoy where this book was taking me but there were too many 'too stupid to live' moments for me that overshadowed everything else going on. The big, bad protector failed too many times and the sex after she was so badly injured didn't jive either. If she was in enough pain to vomit how was she able to have their brand of sex? Sorry no. There's also timeline and consistency problems throughout the book.

This is an okay read but the next book in the series has to do better or I may have to drop this series.

I was looking forward to this book but it didn't live up to my expectations. I just couldn't feel anything for Grave or Everly. For Grave to be the protector of the club he sure did a crappy job of it. They don't necessarily call him the SAA but he couldn't protect a flea. He kept leaving Everly knowing there was danger. As for Everly she got on my nerves. Everything was making her sick. She would throw up at whim it seemed. After everything she had been through and the minute Grave rescues her she wants sex? The pain she was in and that's the first thing either of them think about. The epilogue was a JOKE!
Everly is pregnant at one point and she needs Grave to help her up because she feels like a bloated whale. Excuse me she is 2 months pregnant she wouldn't be showing, her ankles wouldn't be swollen to that extent, and then in the next sentence she says she is 4 months pregnant. Authors need to get this shit straight so us dedicated readers don't have to read this shit. If an author can't remember what she had just written does she need to still be writing? The only reason I am finishing this series is because like everyone else we want to know who the rat is. I have my suspicions but we will see.

Frustrating. Unrealistic. Painful to read.

The only reason I even bothered to finish this book was because I liked the character’s relationship and the plot intrigued me. And boy was I disappointed. The plot holes! The stupid circular dialogue! Felt like I was watching a child count 13 stars in the sky with the twinkle twinkle song 13 times on Cocomelon! All the plot lines that were never resolved, like what happened with Rex’s case? The police officers just not caring when a whole fucking house of men were mowed down with semi automatic rifles? What was the point of Grave getting fake ids passports birth certificates? Nothing made any sense. The whole part when he left to get the id and she was just chillin in a bathtub? wtf the whole time i was like bitch what was the point on learning how to shoot a fucking gun when you’re just gonna leave that shit on the kitchen counter and be in a super vulnerable state naked in a bathtub? Every other time Grave left you alone for 2 seconds you got into trouble. Grab the fuckin gun and hide somewhere jesus she made such a big deal out of it for NOTHING then gets kidnapped. The whole part before that when she needs period stuff and makes Grave go to her house -THAT’s been broken into, door not there, bullets through the walls, left abandoned for 2 days- to get medication like advil and fucking tampons. Ever heard of a grocery store? im sure the $30 you spend on tampons will be worth not fucking dying because you decided to enter a warzone. Grave even said “we can buy that at the store” and she was like no. And in such a vulnerable place she has the audacity to be like wait give me 2 secs to find it when Graves like WE GOTTA GO THERE ARE 20 MEN WITH GUNS OUT HERE

So many times in this book I was like can she just die this is fuckin painful just put me out of my misery. Don’t even start on how after THE ROPES RESTRAINING HER RUBBED OFF THE SKIN AROUND HER ANKLES she starts then HAVING SEX W GRAVE!?!? I literally can’t move after stubbing my toe don’t tell me this stupid bitch can be in so much pain that she feels like her feet were “put in a meat grinder” then get turned on?? Unrealistic to the point where I did not want to read. I do not even care who the rat is in the group they all deserve to die. Also when they were tryna figure out who the rat was WHYD THEY KEEP SUSPECTING THE PEOPLE IT DEFINITELY COULD NOT HAVE BEEN? If Diesel was the rat they’re all screwed might as well not try bc he’s the president. There is no fucking point for the PRESIDENT of a club to be the rat. It literally makes no sense. Then they’re suspecting Grave, THE GUY WHO WAS PROTECTING EVERLY, GETTING SHOT AT, GETTING FAKES TO DISAPPEAR? Yes let’s suspect him. Then literally the author just goes and says like is it this guy who is very loyal? It cannot be. Is it this guy who is loyal? It cannot be. ON FUCKING REPEAT 5 times. At this point its just fucking lazy writing. I’m so pissed off by this book im taking a break after this. I had to write this long ass stupid pointless review just to vent. Fuck this shit.

So after an ok book 1. I decided to try book 2. So, here's the thing. The story itself could have easily been a 5 ⭐️ read which is why this is so frustrating.

MMC is protecting FMC because she witnessed her brother murder a man. A murder that was almost pinned on one of the MMC's club brothers. She signs an affidavit saying her brother did it and now is in danger.

The problem?

These MC guys are MORONS. In book 1 they knew they had a rat in their midst. So, in book 2 they just continue on like there is no rat. Telling everyone in the club everything as normal. Then the MMC wonders why the location he's keeping the FMC gets found.

So what does the genius MMC do? First, after the FMC's house is attacked and we know the other club is after her, he takes her back there... Why??? Because she needed tampons and he hates stores... WTF!!! They get attacked.

Next dumb thing... They are staying at a cabin because she's in danger... What does MMC do? Leaves her alone to go to the damn store for groceries..... Because ya know, he hates stores.

THEN, After the cabin gets found and a member of the other club torments the FMC, what does the stupid ass MMC do???

LEAVES HER ALONE AGAIN!!!! After promising her he would never leave her alone again. Yes, he is that stupid. Reason this time? The guy he was going to meet to get them fake ID's didn't like new people... Good God!!! Keep in mind he left her at the same damn cabin that was already discovered!!

In the meantime our braniac heroine takes a bath and leaves the gun she was given for protection on the kitchen counter. Ya know, don't sit at the ready waiting to fire since the people after you ALREADY KNOW WHERE YOU ARE. Take a bath. That makes way more sense.

So of course she gets kidnapped. Insert ALL THE EYEROLLS.

So damn frustrating since this really did have a good storyline. The almost frame job of the club, the brother sister relationship, the suspense of having a rat, and the close quarters romance could have all been great. Creating drama due to your main characters being idiots doesn't make for a great book.

So what does that make me that I probably will read book 3? A glutton for punishment I guess. We still don't know how all of this ends because while the romance wrapped up, the main club story line didn't. ((sigh))

This book was fast paced and mostly interesting. Maybe I'm just getting old, but the sex scenes aren't my favorite. Constant bodily fluids running everywhere. Dripping, leaking and soaking every time. I actually skipped over most of these because I was getting nauseated. One stood out above all the others. The heroine was beaten, had her hair almost pulled out of her head, punched, thrown in the trunk of a car after being hit in the head with the butt of a gun. She was tied hand and foot with rope and then tossed around and hit with a tool box, that was in the trunk. They threw her in a supply room and when she came to, we were told how badly she was hurt. No skin left on her ankles, the bones were showing. Her wrists were bleeding and raw and she had multiple lacerations on her face and body and even said to herself that she was was going to need a doctor. So much for the physical damage. She had to have been emotionally screwed up as well. She gets herself free, which I did like because I think she was a pretty strong woman. The hero, who was actually a good guy, not an alpha dickhead, found her and took her home. Her injuries are described in detail as he treats her wounds, she's screaming in pain, while he pours peroxide on her bloody wrists and ankles. She's in so much pain, she vomits again. (she does that a lot) Anyway, he wraps her injuries and she wants to stay close to him, which is reasonable. What isn't reasonable is, she wants to have sex with him. The same hard sweaty, dripping sex they always have. There is no way a woman who has gone through that much trauma, physically and mentally, would want or even be able to have sex. The bones were stripped bare of skin on her ankles. Not to mention all of the other injuries. This was just too much for any reasonable person to believe. I am going to read the next one because like I said it was interesting and fast paced and I need to know who the rat is.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the second book in the Dead Souls MC series and picks up where Knox left off. Grave is the enforcer of the MC and is attracted to Everly, the sister of the rival biker who tried to frame Knox for murder. Everly went to Knox to tell him she saw the murder and Knox told his girlfriend and lawyer, who took Everly's statement to the police. When her brother was arrested, he knew Everly was the one to tell it was him and he threatened her life. Everly went to find Knox, but he wasn't at the clubhouse. Grave was there and told her he would protect her. Grave called and told Diesel, the president, about Everly being threatened and told him he would protect her. Grave took Everly to his house in the woods, but somehow they were found and they had to flee to a safe house. There is a rat int he MC and soon the safe house is targeted. Grave vows to protect Everly and will do anything to keep her safe, even go to war. Grave and Everly are growing closer and soon they act on their attraction. I love this series. This book as fast paced and had a lot of action. I love how protective Grave was and how Everly trusted him to keep her safe. I thought i knew who the rat was and i had it figured out, but i think i was wrong. I love that the story keeps me guessing who to trust and what will happen. i look forward to the next book. Good one.

This is the 2nd story in this series and boy it does not disappoint. Knox has news and calls church to let everyone know that Everly is Rex’s sister from a rival MC and she knows Knox did not kill anyone. Grave becomes very flirty and protective of Everly and the guys give him some trouble for it. Everly gives a written statement for the police and then once Rex is arrested by the police does Everly become scared as he threatens her life. Everly runs from her only home and goes to Knox’s Dead Souls MC and finds Grave the only one there. Grave does what he can to calm and feed her and once he determines the only way to keep her safe is to take to his home in the woods. Things go off the rail pretty quickly causing Grave to take extreme measures to ensure everly remains safe. Everly can not believe her life has been turned upside down by her brothers actions and what his fellow MC does to her along the way for revenge, against his sister! Grave is forced to face that he did not protect Everly and does what he does best and tries to get her back. Can Everly survive being taken and can Grave save her before they end her life? I am looking forward to book #3. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

getting back to this series. I can honestly say that I can't remember much about the first book Knox. However, I really enjoyed this book. There was a lot of darkness and danger in it and I'm curious to find out who the rat of the MC is. This story follows Everly, whom find herself in some serious trouble when she reports a crime and is asked to testify. Since it involves the Dead Souls motorcycle club, they know about it and agree to watch her back from a distance but the DA was supposed to put her in witness protection. Though something goes terribly wrong when she is present when the person she turned in is arrested right in front of her and now she's on the run. She heads to the inner brought she knows can help. That's where she runs into Grave, the MC's enforcer and he's got a little more of an interest in her. He takes full responsibility for her safety and then the adventure begins. There's a lot of drama going on here and a lot of intrigue because somehow, those after her, keep finding her. It's a race now to try to keep her safe. Grave a typical alpha male with promise to kill anyone who tried to hurt her. And Everly is just a good person who's trying to do a good thing. But they are perfect for each other.

Good read

This series is proving to be a good biker bad boy collection, this the second book is even better than the first. Grave is a big tough strong guy and the protector and enforcer of the club he is loyal and trust worthy, Everly is a young woman who's brother is a member of a rival club that is constantly causing trouble for them, she is prepared to testify against her brother and needs the club's protection. She and Grave fall for each other and ensure a lot of bad things happening especially to her but they end up together with a child on the way. The story running in the back ground is that there is an informer in the club that is passing information on to the rival group it is causing friction for all as no one wants to think of another brother doing such a thing. Can things get better or will they just keep getting worse only time will tell. The plot thickens with each book can't wait to read the next installment.

This is an intense and suspenseful thrill ride of a read!

Grave is assigned to protect Emerson who has spoken out about her brother and now needs protection after receiving threats. The attraction was instant but they could never act on it as there is too much at stake but when left alone things get hot and steamy amongst all the drama around them.
This should just be a case of going into hiding and staying unseen until things blow over but when unforeseen circumstances leave Emerson vulnerable, things go from back to much worse very quickly.
The Dead Souls are up against it trying to stop what is happening all while trying to figure out who the rat in their club is.

I just loved Grave and Emerson’s story. This is Savannah at her best and I am truly enjoying every page of this new series.

Knox finds out information to help his case and possibly put Rex away, but this information comes from his sister. Everly is willing to tell the truth, but can they protect her? Will Grave protect her from everything? There is an instant attraction that Everly feels towards Grave, would a man like him feel the same way?

Grave notices Everly immediately and feels the need to protect her and keep her safe at all costs. He wants to just be around her whenever possible. Will his MC allow that? Or will the rat in his MC be too much for them all to handle while staying safe?

This book did not disappoint, it ties into the first, but can be read as a standalone. But Grave and Everly is a story for the books. But when her brother's MC interferes, it could cost her her life. Grave refuses to let that happen. I can't wait for the next one!! I received an ARC of this book from the author.

A MUST HAVE READ!
This is the second book from the fantastic "Dead Souls M.C. Series" by Savannah Rylan. If you haven't read any of her books before, then I strongly encourage you to get book 1, Knox, and then Grave as they drew me right into their lives and I didn't want to put them down as they were so well written and with real passionate characters that 'came to life' leaping from the pages of my kindle. Savannah Rylan is a splendid author and her stories just get better [starting from a high point] with every book published. No wonder why she is a top USA best selling author. I received a reader';s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED

Grave is a home run. The underlying story of the Dead Souls MC heat up as the witness the help free Knox needs protection, and Grave is going to do it whether his Club likes it or not. The chemistry between grave and Everly is ecstatic. Everly's story will keep you going all the way through and tough guy Grave is someone that you really cheer for as he tries to protect her from her own brother and his Club. Savannah Rylan has a hit with this series the underlying story keeps you going and you can't wait for the next one to come out .While each one stands alone ,you can tell the overall story of the whole club is going to be GREAT and not to be missed.

The Dead Souls MC is turning into an exciting series. This book is about the protector of the club, Grave, and his protectee, Everly. Everly is the sister of the President of the rival MC, Black Saddles and they are after her.
The relationship between Grave and Everly is sweet and extremely hot. I mean burn up the pages HOT! The chemistry between the club members is tight even though they must deal with some heavy stuff to protect them.
This is a great series so I strongly recommend you start with Knox first before you read this book. There is a thread that is running thru them. Enjoy!

Great!

I chose this rating because this was a really great book. I enjoyed most of the characters let me say that again most but not all. Because someone is a real butt hole. Graves that man was something to be reckoned with yes! He was protecting this lady they fell in love her name is Everly. I mean I really enjoyed this book. This was all about protection, compassion, and being truthful. The bad part about it this book is also about betrayal. It's going to take you on to the next book so you can find out what's going on. But Everly and Graves I think they made a great couple as well as Knox and Monroe. Great reeved . I recommend this book to all romance and MC readers.

There are so many inconsistencies with this plot it drove me crazy. Spoilers ahead!
They literally have been in hiding DAYS, only DAYS (maybe 3) and Everly makes an internal comment that she's been with him 3 weeks. Then in the Epilogue it says she's five months pregnany and beached whale. Normally, you're barely showing at 5 months. Then she says her pregnancy exhaustion followed her through all of her second trimester so she quit working...at 4 months pregnant. When you're 4 months pregnant you've literally just started your second trimester. The last thing that bothered me about this story is how unbelievably obvious who the rat is. I knew RIGHT away.

Gentle Giant

Grave was the protector and enforcer of the Club. Everly met with the club to tell them she was in the woods the night of Blaze being stabbed. She told them her brother was the one who did it and was trying to frame Knox. She needed protection.
Grave wanted to protect her and he liked her. The two of them moved from place to place, being found by the Black Saddles every time. Until they kidnapped her. The Dead Souls were able to find their location and break her out.
Ms. Ryan's books are well written, characters well developed, a bit snarky but the sentense structure is awful. At times words are missing.

I was undecided about reading Grave after giving Knox 3 stars but I wanted to see where things went.
I really liked the premise of the book. It was fast paced, believable, and action packed. I couldn’t put my kindle down.
I liked the characters. Grave’s need to protect Everly and his loyalty to his club makes for a likable character.
I liked Everly as well. Strong and independent; she’s a fighter and survivor.
I still have the same issues that stop me from rating the book higher: grammatical errors, bad sentence structure, and some of the sentences, details, and verbs used just not making sense.

I really liked this story except for the fact that the timeline kept shifting. Everly takes 6 weeks off of work and as far as I can tell spends 3 days with Grave before the climax of the book. Then it says she has 3 weeks left of PTO before she has to go back. Now even if my count of 3 days is off by one or two, there’s no way that 3 full weeks were covered in this story. Then the epilogue say 2 months later but somehow she’s already past her 4th month of pregnancy? Even if the three weeks were covered, she couldn’t be more than 3 months pregnant (rounding up here). Doesn’t make sense.

Great story, loved the characters, but the jacked up time line makes my head hurt.

This book has real potential. The whole series has potential, but this book needs work, which sucks since it’s already published.

I like how the first two books are linked by the underlying story, and the characters are good. There are however a few issues with the timeline as well as consistency throughout the book. For example, a pregnant woman usually is not huge, or have a protruding belly, at two months gestation, and you can’t tell if it’s a boy or a girl until way past that, and then all of a sudden she stopped working at 4 months? It feels like a few more proofreading sessions would have been a good idea.

Picking up immediately after the last book we meet Everly again.
When Everly’s life is threatened, the lawyers want her in witness protection—but Grave has other plans. He’s determined to keep her safe himself, no matter the cost. But protecting her isn’t just about shielding her from danger; it’s about fighting the undeniable pull between them.

Everly is everything Grave isn’t—pure, innocent, and off-limits as the sister of a rival club member. But as secrets unravel and tensions rise, she becomes the one thing Grave can’t let go of.

Filled with sizzling chemistry, heart-stopping action, and emotional depth, Grave delivers a perfect mix of danger and passion. If you love possessive, protective bikers and strong-willed heroines, this book is a must-read!

Holy cow, this book is amazing!! I really liked Knox, but this one knocked it out of the park for me! Grave is...wow...who in their right mind doesn't love a massive, tough, take you down in a heartbeat, good, loving man? I do that's for sure! The chemistry he has with Everly is electric. She's needs a savior and he steps up, no questions asked and signs on as her protector and of course sparks fly. Loved this book, full of action, intrigue and hot, hot sexy scenes, absolutely can't wait for the next book in the series! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

What is with all the drinking and driving? They'll all be at the bar doing shots, had five, six beers, then get on there motorcycles and drive like it's nothing. Really? The author condones drinking and driving? No wonder they can't keep themselves or their women from being shot at. They're to busy at bars drinking or to busy yapping to each other. Women do nothing but talk, my ass. Men talk a hell of a lot more than women do. I have seen plenty of men not know when to shut up.
