Welcome to "Active Shooter and More Stories," a collection of fresh contemporary fiction by Alaister Crowe. This new work has more than twenty stories covering a great range of characters and settings, with some feeling more like magical realism, some like surrealism, and some like straight-up contemporary fiction. A few skate close to horror or fantasy but stay just on the realist side of the line, and one is humorous. About half the protagonists are female, half male, and a few are children exploring their worlds and running into danger.
