MAYHEM is a good second chance MC romance.
I really liked Tori and Eli and the plot had more than enough action, hotness and angst to keep me turning the pages.
Tori left 7 years ago and now having lost her job and in need of money to pay the bills she finds her self in deep trouble with a loan shark who are out to get their money and interest.
When Eli comes across a damsel in distress out on the street he goes to the rescue only to discover the woman he is rescuing from her attacker is the woman who left him 7 years ago, the woman who was his wife and his first love who just disappeared leaving nothing but a note.
Eli is now the president of the MC that Tori had fled from years ago, she has her reasons for running and as the plot unfolds you discover there's more to her story than just leaving because she couldn't cope with club life.
An interesting story that leads to a well deserved hea for Tori and Eli. I loved the additional characters too and this being my first book by Heather West had me wanting to read more, not only in this series but her Mafia series too.
There's no unnecessary violence or blood shed in this book, there are no cringe worthy scenes or gritt. Mayhem is a love story in an MC setting and the plot focuses mainly on the characters.
Looking forward to more Mayhem son'w be my last read by Heather West.

She was in danger, he came to her rescue, not reading that they had a past together.
When he decided to help her, she didn’t want to take the chance that he would find out about her secret. When he did, he promised to do everything to make sure she was safe, even if it ment killing to protect her.
I loved the story line and the characters, kept my attention all the way thur. The plot line flowed smoothly thur the whole thing.
A really great read.

Rant and spoilers ahead so read at your own risk...
This story was irritating and had more holes throughout the storyline than a block of Swiss cheese.
The reason behind even having a bad guy was a gigantic stretch.
The fact that a woman disappeared while only changing her last name to her maiden name and moved 10 minutes away. 10 MINUTES in the same city for 7 YEARS!
Her reasoning for leaving could “almost” be understood but keeping a child secret is one of my pet peeves and a huge no no.
Does no one EVER think to just sit down and have a rational discussion? Nope, not these two. All they did was fight for the first 50% of the story
And while I’m on it, did we REALLY need to know that dude has been with “hundreds” of women in the 7 (really 8 when you think about it logically) years they were apart? I know they were divorced a free agent to screw anything he wanted but when will authors figure out that the majority of their reader base seriously dislike hearing about all the hundreds of dirty snatch the so called hero has been in?
Based off the loosely woven together story that, had it been an Afghan, wouldn’t have kept warm a flea, I have to seriously reconsider the idea of continuing with this author. I was hoping for a good MC story series but I think I’m gonna keep looking. At least I finished the entire story and didn’t skip any. Really, that’s the only reason this is getting 3 stars

I was totally intrigued by this well-written second MC romance and really enjoyed reading it.
There is: MC riders, loan sharks, rivalry, twists & turns, suspense, intrigue, action, danger, enemies, violence, devious plans, deceit, defiance, verbal conflict, confrontation, memories, secrets, friendship, protectiveness, rage, desire, hatred, abduction, revenge, death, happiness, love and a few steamy scenes.
The characters are well-developed and fairly realistic with their emotions. The story-line and plot is well-thought out and written, it keeps the reader’s attention. I would recommend this book.
There is: MC riders, loan sharks, rivalry, twists & turns, suspense, intrigue, action, danger, enemies, violence, devious plans, deceit, defiance, verbal conflict, confrontation, memories, secrets, friendship, protectiveness, rage, desire, hatred, abduction, revenge, death, happiness, love and a few steamy scenes.

I had a special soft spot for Daniel.
I know you dont normally write sequals Heather but,
If you wanted to write a book about Daniel,
I would be very pleased.
I would HIGHLY recommend this book.

This book was just ok to me. There were parts I liked and some that were just there. I really didn’t like the whole club business convo at the end. This is a MC, so that conversation was just stupid and kinda ticked me off. I’m not going to say more. I did like the characters, they needed a little more development, but overall I liked them. Interesting twist at the end I wasn’t expecting.

Decent.
I love MC’s because of the clubs and the vast array of characters that usually brings. This touched slightly on that cast, but really didn’t give us enough of a peak into the club. It fell short there for me. The storyline was a good though. Fast paced, exciting and interesting. So overall it was a decent read.

Eli comes back into Tori life after saving her from a beating can he get the answers from 7 yrs ago why she left? Eli is now president of the Vipers MC Club can he convince Tori things have changed? Tori has never forgotten her first love but will he forgive her for leaving & accept her reasons?
Can’t wait to see what’s in store for the rest of the club.
A good start to the series.

A good read
I liked the book. I think I liked Daniel the best. The main characters were good but they were missing something that I just couldn’t put my finger on. I guess they just seemed a little soft.
