I live in a small town in Wisconsin. From my deck, I can see the Mississippi River on one side and the bluffs, where eagles live and nest on the other side. I live with my husband Dave and dog Buddy. My two children are grown and I have two grandchildren. I love to watch people and that has helped me with my writing. I often use people I watch as characters in my books and I always try to give my characters some of my own values and habits.

I love to create characters and put them in a troubling situation then sit back and let them do all the work. My characters surprise even me at times. At some point in the book, they take on a life of their own and the twists and turns they create becomes the story. Of all the stories, I could write I found I like mystery/thrillers the best. I like to keep my readers guessing until the very end of the book.

Outstanding!! Chance and Quinn now have their story and it lies heavily on a poor mentally and physically tortured four year old little girl named Destiny. What lengths will the MC go through to try to protect this little girl whose parents were ready to offer her up to a monster that preys on little girls just to clear a debt? You have to read this to see how Cassie and Peaches’ past comes up to threaten them once again.

It never stops amazing me how this author puts out book after book and only gets better and better. Every one of her books has had me devouring them and looking forward to the next book that comes out. I highly recommend this author and her books.

IT DOESN'T PAY TO ATTRACT THE WRONG ATTENTION!!!
Oh man. One fantastically, awesome read. This is one of my favorite authors. If you're asking why, I'll be more than happy to explain it in simple terms. She knows out to turn 'em out. With action galore, strong plot, realistic characters, vivid scenes and storyline's that she brings to life before our eyes. Dahlen has a magic touch that can be seen throughout this entire series. I love her characters and all the HEAT between the couple's. I love how they're as close as family and protect each other. She adds all the suspense and danger to keep our attention and it doesn't hurt that she's an incredible story teller. If you're looking for some great reads and you're into motorcycle clubs, you cannot go wrong here. She has an affinity for this type of tale as well as some mafia. Like I said, a great author. Dahlen did a remarkable job bringing this read to life flawlessly. Great job Dahlen, thanks for sharing this awesome read with us.

Great book

As with all the books in the series this one will keep you interested right from the first chapter. This book will make you laugh and cry and cheer. The hot alpha males not only make you sit up and take interest , but the strong women they love and their problems will bring tears to your eyes. You'll fall in love with the characters and their story.

The way Chance was with Quinn was really sweet and he is a gentle soul. Little Destiny broke my heart and what happened to Mona was also very sad but inevitable as she had lost touch with reality because her reality was hell. Jonah Rossi and what he did made me sick to my stomach and when he came up against Leon and Calderone Vincinti was the icing on the cake!!!

Next generation is Quin -Sam daughter and Chance both from earlier book. As they find themselves in trouble with bad guys from the past and a small child who needs protection. Not a standalone book fans of this series

KJ has done it all again. Seriously, her passion for creating superior MC romance books is our complete pleasure to become avid reader's of. There are just so many words to describe how it feels to pick up anything crafted by Ms. Dahlen and 100% know that the book will be one you'll become engrossed in (willingly) because each one has a riveting storyline as well as characters that you can envision with the way each one is described. In one of my previous reviews, I stated that as a reader, there are so many times that you wish the story wouldn't end, that being said, in every single MC book, you get to follow along with this truly heroic Brotherhood and catch up on all of characters, it is amazing. I think that is why I, personally, am a junkie for these MC books. Ms. Dahlen has taken to being an Author and upped the game for every other contender out there who crafts intriguing and compelling MC releases. Please note, I am a huge fan of quite a few Authors and I am in zero way saying anything negative, what I actually am is shocked at just how seamlessly KJ makes all of her books flow. Respectfully spoken by me.

Chance and Quinn are going to take you on a ride you won't soon forget. You are going to love this wonderfully crafted release. And Destiny, well, this child is going to have your heart. I can not wait to see what is gifted to us next.

I voluntarily requested an advanced reader's copy of Chance in exchange for my honest opinion and I guaranteed you're going to love it.

I have loved every book in this series from the very beginning and this one is no different. This series is the next generation of the Sin's MC and I love how they have all of the characters from the previous books always involved. To me, that is how a series of books should be. Quinn has been through a lot in her lifetime from her father leaving (he watched her grow up from afar) to being on her death bed. Now she lives with her father and brothers with the MC and couldn't be happier. Chance is fairly new to the MC since his brother moved to town to be closer to their brother Talon "Mountain". When these two first laid eyes on each other they knew they were it for each other but some relationships take time. When a little girl comes into the picture and Quinn falls in love with her will this make their relationship stronger or start to tear it apart? The story is well written, as I said I love the characters and enjoy each book thoroughly. There are so many things I can say about the book but don't like to give the story away, it wouldn't be fair to others who would still like to read them. I would definitely recommend this series from the beginning so you see how each of these characters have grown into the people they are today.

The Sin's Bastards MC is keeping it in the family with our main couple. Quinn is Sam's daughter and Deke's sister. Chance is Mountain's brother and Melora's uncle. I loved these two. Their relationship was a little different than I'm used to seeing in MC storylines. They dated for quite a while while Chance "courted" Quinn. He wanted her to know that he wanted her for more than just a physical relationship. He was sweet and fiercely protective. Quinn seemed to have a heart of gold. I loved the relationship she developed with little Destiny. Destiny's story broke my heart. The poor little thing had gone through way more than she should have in her short lifetime. Beware: this storyline discusses child abuse and trafficking, which unfortunately are all too real situations for some of our most vulnerable. I just love the men and women of this MC. They will do anything to protect their own, as well as to fight injustices to others. I highly recommend reading this series as well as the two that came before, Satan's Spawn MC (I haven't read yet) and Sin's Bastards MC.

Chance

Another great book in the series hands down. Who would have thought that a biker would actually court a woman for 6 months. Yes that’s right 6 months well that would be Chance and he has done exactly this with Quinn. While Quinn is working at Redemption house she comes along and sees a little girl but 4 years old sitting by herself. Quickly she approaches and has this protective feeling to care for her while her mother is in with Cassie. This sweet little one is named Destiny and has had a hell of a life for being only 4. With an abused mother and a drunk with beater of a father with a gambling debt which he has arranged to trade Destiny to a know pedophile who has ties to not only Cassie but Peaches. And the plot thickens.... Once again Deke and Sam are involved along with the rest of the crew to get Destiny cares for and to stop an evil man from hurting Cassie and Peaches from a past they thought was over with....... So grab your copy and find out what happens and enjoy this book as I have.

Wonderful

This is a great second book in this new series, it just gets better and better. There is always plenty of action happening in these books with lots of hot alpha men and beautiful feisty women who fall for them. This is where Quinn and Chance declare their love for each other and it is lovely and romantic but as always there is an under current and this one uncovers a paedophile who raped peaches when she was only fourteen and who is currently trying to get a four year old child who has been abused by her parents and is being used to pay a gambling debt. The club jumps into action to save the child and deal with Peaches tormentors especially after the same man kidnaps her and Cassie. Quinn and Chance finally get married and take the little girl as their own. These books cover some very difficult topics such as child abuse and it is always done in a sympathetic way and the club always looks after its own. It's another riveting book and I look forward to the next in the series.

This series keeps getting better and better. The Sin’s Bastards MC has quickly became a favorite of mine and watching these men and women struggle with their pasts and falling in love is amazing. Each one of them have a past that haunts them daily, but the love they have for one another will never stop. Quinn has had a rough time between dealing with Sam’s abandonment (in her eyes), her mother’s death, and the disease that almost took her life. She’s finally gotten to know her father, brother and sister more and has settled into the MC lifestyle with her brother. She knew from the beginning she wanted CHance, but he was putting her off. When they finally get together, it’s so sweet, romantic & perfect. Then comes Destiny and a whole world of trouble along with her for the MC. Poor Peaches and Cassie keep having tough breaks. I can’t wait to see what’s next. I’m voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

If you are into a good MC story, this is your book.

Quinn didn't ant to get involved in the MC because she doesn't want to meet her father, but fate has strange ways.
Now she is in the MC for some time and she has her eyes on Chance from the moments she sees him. He feels the same, but takes his time. Making sure she knows he is into her for the long run.
They are dating for 6 months when their lives are messed up by a four year old girl, who has never been taking care of only in a bad way. Poor girl, but now she belongs to the MC and the MC takes care of what belongs to them.
It even brings back some very evil guy from the past of two other MC ladies, making it even worse.

This story got to me a lot, but it also made I couldn't stop reading, because I needed to know what was going to happen next.

Yes it is part of a series, so it would be better to read the whole series, but if you want you can read it as a stand alone, but why would you?

There is so many descriptions and adjectives to describe "Chance(Sin's Bastards MC Next Generation Book 2)". Chance and Quinn's story is so much more than an MC read. There is a richness of family and camaraderie not only with the MC, and each other, but some outside of the MC. I love seeing not only old characters, but new ones as well. That being said, it is not a sweet story, as there is some violence and sexy scenes. It is after all, an MC story with men and women that are not soft. The beauty of this series, is each book is a standalone read that has its own completion to their story. Chance and Quinn do get a HEA, with not only each other, but with Destiny as well. A recommended read, I would like to thank the author and her team for an ARC of "Chance". I voluntarily leave my opinion. This is mine. 5 Easy Stars!

I LOVED Chance and Quinn's story! Trouble never seems to leave the MC alone for long. Quinn takes over the care of an abandoned 4 year old girl left at Redemption House. When they find out that she is to be traded to the local scum bag track owner to pay off a debt Quinn and Chance (who finally admit there is something between them) and the MC do everything in their power to protect her. Things get worse when Cassie realizes the man they are after is the one who attached Peaches years ago, the one she thought she left for dead. When Cassie and Peaches go missing the Family from Boston can't help but get involved. This is another fast paced, suspenseful and still sweet and steamy story. I loe this series!!

wow amazing!!!

This was Chance and Quinn's story.
When Quinn finds a little girl abandoned at the Redemption House she decides to look after her. Chance discovers information about the little girl's parents and the danger that has arisen.
Someone is looking for Destiny and they have a past connection with Cassie and Peaches.
We learn more about the life Cassie and Peaches lived when they were 14.
The MC and the Family joined hands to face the danger once again.
I loved this book. It was full of love, romance, action and lots of drama.
although there was no getting to know scenes between chance and Quinn in this book but their first meeting was discussed.
am loving this series. Can't wait for the next book in this series.
Highly recommended.

I absolutely love how the series flow from one to the next. The same cast with different mains and the antagonists keep getting more heinous making the stories that much more poignant. This book is the dramatic love story between Chance and Quinn and a sweet innocent child named Destiny. Just when I thought I couldn’t shed any more tears or that my heart wouldn’t break or that my soul could not be happy, Dahlen does the unthinkable and obliterates all my plans. Just another wonderful book to add to the amazing series within a series-per se.
I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review.

This is Chance and Quinn's story. Chance takes things slow with Quinn so he can show her that he is serious about her. When Quinn sees the little girl in the hall on her own she is instantly protective of her and takes her in when the mother disappears. It takes the club to protect them from the threat of little Destiny's parents. Will they be able to keep everyone safe or will this be the time the club suffers a loss?

This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between Quinn and Chance is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend it to any book lover.

Love this next Series in the Sin's Bastard Collection. It's a very good, suspenseful MC Series. K.J. Dahlen at her best.
Quinn was unsure about these guys when she moved to the MC to be with her brother Charlie and her father Sam "Bones" Tory. But what she found was Chance a big mountain of a man who moved here from Texas to be with his brothers. She wanted him from the first time she saw him.
Chance tried to stay away from Quinn, but he couldn't know he is going to show here that not all MC and motorcycle guys are the same.
Cassie and Peaches past come back to haunt them will Deke and Iceman be able to save their lives. This book has suspense and twists at every turn.

At first glance, Chance knew he wanted Quinn but figured she wasn't the woman for him. Quinn is learning about the MC club, but cannot help her growing attraction to one man. One night changed both of them. Will Chance be able to keep Quinn safe? Will Quinn find her happy ever after?

I loved how different Chance was to the other women. Chance showed that he wasn't going to just screw her and move on early on and I think that helped her trust him even more. I loved how Quinn was determined to do what she could to protect Destiny no matter what. Great read!

These MC stories by K.J. Dahlen are just so full of great characters, scary action, heartbreak, and love of little ones, especially the abused, neglected and mistreated! I would think it would be a challenge for a new reader to start with this book even though it did introduce Quinn and her background story. But a reader who had read about Cassie and Peaches in prior books might better appreciate the agony they go through in Chance and Quinn's story. I volunteered this five star review from an ARC!

He’ll do anything to protect the woman he loves, even fighting for someone she cares for. She’ll fight to protect those that are weaker then her, and innocent. Together with help of the Sins Bastards and the Family they will protect and fight for those who have been harmed.
When an innocent is being betrayed by a family member, the MC steps up and takes care of the problem, only to come to realize that the problem has a past with both Cassie and Peaches , which in turns brings her family into it.
All together they love protect and watch out for everyone in their territory and family.

This book is great as it is the story of Chance and Quinn.
They knew they were the ones for each other at first glance. Chance wanted to prove to Quinn that he was different from every other male by taking it slow with Quinn.
Quinn didn't want to take it slow she wanted him now.
When Quinn is teaching at the Redemption house she comes across a little 4 year girl named Destiny. Quinn takes Destiny home with once she realizes that she was left at the Redemption House. After a lot of drama Quinn and Chance keep Destiny.

Amazing

Absolutely loved this book. I loved how Chance wanted to take his time with Quinn and show her that he is different than any other man she has ever know. I loved that in the end they they became a family and Destiny got a mommy and daddy to love her along with a lot of aunts and uncles. I loved that we get a glimpse into everyone else's loves in the mc as well. I can't wait to see what happens next!

I received this book as an ARC but I'm voluntarily leaving this review. This was a thrilling book that had a great list of characters, some of them new and some of them from previous books. This was Chance and Quinn's story and I loved it but poor Destiny's story just broke my heart. K.J. Dahlen really broght me into this story and made me feel like I was sitting right there watching it all. I would recommend this book.

This is the second book in this awesome series, and is Chance and Quinn’s story. Destiny is a mentally and physically abused little 4 year old, who Quinn and the rest of the MC take a stand on, and will go to any lengths in order to protect her. This is a well written and flawless story, which had me totally captivated and intrigued throughout. Each of these stories just seems to get better and better, and I cannot wait to read the next book in this fantastic series!

Well.... it didn't seem like Chance and Quinn's story. More like a continuation of past stories. In the beginning Quinn sees Chance kissing someone else. No explanation, just when he saves her minutes later from a handsy guy, he's like oh your jealous, I like you. It was crazy. Then you hardly see them together. I guess I was hoping for a love suspense action story and I don't think there was a lot of love.

There's a lot that happens in the beginning of the story to lay down the groundwork for Quinn and Chance. But then other people factor into their lives, and as trouble strikes, they're all put into a tough situation again. I really enjoyed their story, the way Chance and Quinn's story was sweet and loving, and Destiny was a surprise they didn't expect, but it brought everyone together to support each other. Another good book for this MC family.

I am happily reviewing this book which I received from the author through book funnel. What a great book filled with a beautiful woman, a handsome biker and a young child that needs their help. Quinn and Chance are both connected to Sins Bastards MC, Quinn through her father and brother and Chance as a member of the MC. Readers should enjoy this book as much as I did and I would heartily recommend this book.

Family Love!!

This book had everything a book requires and needs!! Humor, intrigue, suspense, love, hate, and everything in between. I thought Chance and Quinn were made for each other and the fact he wanted to show her not all men were like Sam (I'm always up for anyone showing up Sam. I like him tho.) was so romantic.
Awesome Awesome Book!!!
