I read both of these books and found myself immersed in them. Serena McKay is a flawed human being who is trying to overcome a brutal past---Now she is out to stop all the bad guys in their tracks! The worst of the bad guys is after her at the same time--after her green eyes!

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request, and have voluntarily left this review. I really enjoyed this collection, even though it's can be disturbing at time. Serena life has not been easy, but it has created a powerful mind with a strong character. With the help of her foster parents and friends, she because a very successful PI. Success has attracted a serial killer. Serena is in a race against time to save her world. Well written characters with a fast paced plot that will keep you listening longer then you intended.

This is a fast-paced pair of books that follows the exploits of a seriously kick-butt female private eye trying to do the right thing despite being targeted by one of the most malevolent criminals I have ever seen portrayed in a novel. The setting is in a believably described dystopian future, and the characters portrayed are true-to-life. I was not able to set this set aside until I had raced through it to the end!

Great serial killer book
This story was amazing! What really blew my mind was the author was describing a dystopian government and country but yet in reality it is exactly where we are headed today. Some of the similarities are too close to home. Loved the main character Serena although she had a terrible childhood she was a real fighter. Great read! Highly recommend this author!
