That is the one question you will always be asked and the one answer you will always remember when you have survived a zombie apocalypse.
Me?
Technically, I didn't survive.
Agnes LeFay had just moved into her first apartment after graduating from community college. After a rough upbringing in the foster care system, everything was finally going right for a change.
That was until a major world wide event changed not just the face of the Earth, but also her whole life as she knew it. Together, with her three extremely attractive neighbours, they must navigate their way through their new apocalyptic reality and her undead needs all while evading discovery from the military, who were rounding up the infected like cattle.
Dead Clinger is a medium burn reverse harem novel with lots of attitude, filthy language and plenty of hot mmfm interaction. It touches on some darker issues and is intended for mature readers of 18 years and up.
No repetitive insecurities. No continually scared, cling to my man to protect me theme. It was a refreshing storyline with genuine adult emotions, action, and humor. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait for the next one.
I completely enjoyed this book. It provided a ton more entertainment then I expected. I was looking for a light read- but this crazy zombie book actually has some depth!
Why oh why did it end like that?! It's so good I didn't want it to end but sadly it did. Now part 2 needs to hurry up before I go crazy. I love zombies and I love reverse harems so this book is a huge favorite of mine right now 💚
I’m torn because I think it’s VERY well done for a first novel, but man did it pet my peeves.
I think it was a bit insta-lovey, but drawn out. Like the story it told could have been condensed to allow room in its word count to flesh out some other elements of the story.
I love that it reminded me of the book Warm Bodies, and it kept me invested enough to finish in a day.
I’m looking forward to this authors future work and an excited to see oh they grow as an artist and story teller.
I have to say this is one of my favorite reads this year...I wasn't sure what to expect at first but I loved the way everything has played out so far and I can't wait for book 2 to come out
Where do I begin? The fact she is a zombie with all of her cognitive abilities or the fact she can heal when she's dead. Or maybe the guys who have no problem having sex with a dead girl. Maybe how when there was an attack the water would rise above their heads😕😕😕. Oh I know it's that there are billions of deaths yet this book is almost entirely spent in a apartment building and only 2 zombies are seen (other then dead not dead girl). This book was boring and made no sense. These guys were having sex with a dead person they had just met. If your going to write a zombie apocalypse then you need actual zombies. There wasn't even scenes in the book of them watching zombies on tv! I honestly have nothing good to say.
What more could I ask of a book, the end of the world, a zombie apocalypse all wrapped up in a RH, and best of all enough enough holes in the story to drive a bus through.....aah no!!
A dash of weird, a hint of gross, and a heaping of hawt with a splash of dark and twisted.
We have a girl that does in the first chapter. The kicker is, she doesn't stay dead. She craves meat, but she's not mindless. Most of the end of world stuff happens outside the story, though a bit seeps in. We don't understand what causes the virus or why she's the only different person found. I'm at a loss over Blake's problem. I guess it's kind of a bully romance thing? I also didn't care for the M/M romance thing, but the plot is intriguing enough for me to look over that particular thing. It's not even fully M/M but more of an unfulfilled promise because nothing comes of it, at least in this novel.
DNF at 23%. I can overlook a lot of things for the promise of a decent plot or interesting characters, but this book hit too many of my pet peeves right from the start. For some reason the thing that bothered me the most is a character's comment that the military was brought in and "Sharia Law" was enforced in response to a terrorist attack. That would be Martial Law, and I feel like the fact that the author was so lazy about something so simple is a great example of why I was not motivated to keep going.
This was definitely a different take on Zombies and a medium burn book. The zombie situation was pretty much in the background which I didn't mind as the budding romance between the female and the three good took the forefront. I would have given it 5 Stars if I didn't have to read over 80% of the book to finally get to a sex scene!!! But regardless, it got me hooked and will definitely read the next installment.
This was the perfect book for me! I mean, what’s better than a zombie apocalypse and a reverse harem?! Nothing, nothing is better lol This was nice, short, and such an easy and fun read! The only thing that bothered me was that it ended in a cliffhanger… BUT thankfully I have the second book ready to go! Look for my review of the second one soon! I’m looking forward to seeing them all kick some ass!
At first I was unsure if I would enjoy this book but I could not put it down it's incredible. If you enjoy sexy men and zombies and a strong woman mc this is for you.
Couldn't get into it. All I kept thinking of is these guys playing around this corpse girl (think of the movie, dead girl), and the dialogue is really rough with cussing and exclamations every other sentence.
