For a communications book, this was a very badly written book. It was mainly a book full of fluff. If you took out all of the fluff and the repetitive content, it would have been about a third of its size. It was also awful that they kept trying to be funny. The problem is that it wasn't even remotely funny. I would have given it one star except it did have a few good points in it. I they took out all of the fluff and repetitiveness I would have given it five stars.

Better than the last business communication class I took 15 years ago, but this text forgets that there are more students than those that have no job or real world experience. Made it feel at times like it was trying too hard and other times downright agist.
