LOVE HURTS

Even when she won’t fight for us, I’ll go to war for her…

Inside the Octagon, I have no fear. I’m at home, in my element, inflicting pain onto men trained to hurt me just as badly. Making them submit, knocking them out, maiming them, because it’s them or me. And I choose them.
Outside the Octagon, my only weakness is a five-foot-two, classy as fuck woman that I’ve loved for most of my life. She’s the one that brings me to my knees, fills my arms, my heart, and one day soon, my bed. She makes me reckless. Volatile. I drink too much and try too hard to fuck my way out of feeling—all because of her.
Frankie De Rosa is my girl, my best friend. I haven’t earned her yet, but I won’t stand by and let anyone take her from me. She will be the greatest fight of my life, but she’s worth the battle.
Love hurts, but anything worth having does, right?
I’m Deacon “The Hitman” Love—Welcome to the Cage.

LOVE BURNS
Love.
It’s my name. It’s what I fight for. It’s  Frankie.

I’m a fighter. Trained to always keep my cover. To anticipate, see the next hit coming. I never expected her past to come at us swinging like it has.

 I’m about to take on two of the most important fights of my life. My girl and the belt. I know that I can handle it. That I’ll never stop fighting. But what do you do when your life, your love is threatened and you can't take the hits-she has to?  You shut your eyes and fucking pray like hell that she’s strong enough, fierce enough to come out on top.
I went to war for her. Now it's her turn.

LOVE FIGHTS
When Maxie walks into the gym looking for a trainer Leo isn’t sure whether he should thank his meddling friend Deacon or hit him. Leo realizes that years apart hasn’t changed his feelings toward her and as they train for her upcoming fight he’s determined to prove that hers haven’t either. Maxie may have been the one who got away, but she’s here now and Leo isn’t letting her go.

I absolutely freaking loved Deacon and Frankie although at times I wanted to smack both of them upside the head!! Oh my lord deacon’ dirty talk was off the charts 🔥. The other Love characters were so good. My heart hurt for them all.
I laughed, cried and had WTH moments.

There is so much awesome in this duet from Mandi Beck that I'm not sure how to break it all down. So I think I'm going to review each book individually for my own sanity. It's gonna be wordy but it's all good- promise.

Love Hurts
WOW! The prologue pulled me right in and I devoured this book in less than a day. I was not prepared at all for the drama and angst that was waiting for me within the pages.

I loved that this is told in mostly Deacon's POV because it isn't often you get a brash and broody perspective. Deacon is blunt, raw, sexy, protective and bold; all the things I love in a leading man. He is in the middle of preparing for his season and the championship fight. However, that fight is a cake walk compared to the battle he's up against in trying to get the woman he loves to be his. I really liked Frankie's character. She was a little spitfire. She knew just how to handle, for the most part, the dominant men in her life. She is sassy, classy and sweet and one hell of a talented dancer. But she is also vulnerable and timid when it comes to opening herself up to the possibility of true love.

When Frankie is in trouble though, she reaches out to Deacon and from there on out it was game on! While it took a bit for Frankie to give into what they both know she wanted, when it did happen, holy hotness. The mouth on that man, you've been warned. The best part, is when his girl starts giving it right back to him. The chemistry between them sizzled off the pages. Their connection is honest, pure and deep.

However, when a blast from the past resurfaces just to cause trouble things start to spiral out of control for both Deacon and Frankie. The shift in their relationship effects everyone around them in a big way. When push came to shove and the hard decisions had to be made, I was waiting with baited breath to see what would happen. My heart broke and stopped more than once for everything these two had gone through. Just when I thought things were going to work out for them (how I wanted)- BAM! Time for the twist!

Love Burns
I thought I loved Deacon before but I was wrong. Calling him intense is putting it mildly. He had his two focuses, fighting and Frankie and nothing was going to stand in his way of either. I loved this dirty talking, man bun sporting, pink wearing fighter. He stepped up big time in this book, consequences, cars and faces be damned- he was going to do whatever it took to keep his Princess safe. His true colors came out when Frankie drops a bomb on the whole clan. Here was this big, bad, alpha to the extreme being extra attentive and tender (insert swoon here).

But this is Deacon and Frankie, the good is great and the bad is terrible. And what a tangled web of lies, betrayal and deceit are uncovered. The depth of danger everyone thought they were in was nothing compared to the reality of it all. I loved all the dark and convoluted and even heartbreaking twists this book took. But through it all, there was Deacon and Frankie- fighting. Not just for themselves but for each other. And when they finally started to fight for the future that they wanted together, it was like the storm clouds parted, the sun came out and the birds sang.

I am still reeling from all the emotions this book brought out in me. Yes Mandi Beck, you did that and I feel you. I felt all of it; every punch, dodge and fight. Every laugh, tear and gasp- I was there. Thank you for giving Frankie and Deacon a story that was uniquely theirs and that was as intense and passionate as they were. Thank you for not taking the easy road but for making it gritty and raw and ugly at times- just like love and life. You made me laugh, swoon, cry, and think about the things that are really worth fighting for. And that ending, couldn't have been more perfectly Frankie and Deacon.

Love Hurts ~
As Mandy Becks debut novel, Love Hurts is most definitely a TKO!

"Even when she won't fight for us. I'll go to war for her."

Frankie DeRosa is a dancer that grew up surrounded by fighters in the gym co-owner by her father. Deacon "The Hitman" Love, is her best friend and the man that loves her.

I can't say much more without giving away the story, but I will say I absolutely loved this book & would recommend reading it!

Love Burns~
In Love Hurts we met Frankie DeRosa, a dancer (who grew up surrounded by fighters in the gym co-owned by her father) & Deacon "The Hitman" Love, her best friend and the man that loves her. Their story continued in Love Burns...

Oh the feels in this book!

Mandi Beck did a fabulous job completing the "Love" story she began in Love Hurts. I laughed, I cried, I swooned (wrist kisses) and then I cried some more. Read it & see what happens when Deacon & Frankie go to "war" for each other!

Love Fights~
Review for Love Fights...
Set in Mandi Beck’s Caged Love World, Love Fights is a stand-alone, second chance short story focusing on Deacon Love’s trainer Leo & his “lost love” Maxie.

Though years have passed, when Maxie walks into his MMA gym sporting two black eyes, Leo knows that despite his broken heart & hard feelings for her he will do what needs to be done to help her.

Maxie waited years for Leo to come home to her before she finally gave up on him & moved on.

Can these two finally find their way back to each other??

Though it may be short, Love Fights is a well written romance that gave me all the feels! Damn, I missed this crew!

~~~~~
If you haven’t read Mandi Beck yet, why not??
Wow A Boxed Set!!! I love Deacon and Frankie!!!
Love Hurts- I would give this book more than 5+++++ stars if I could.
This being Mandi Beck's debut novel I had no idea what to expect other than a fighter book. This book took me on an adventure with MMA fighter Deacon "The Hitman" Love and Frankie the dancer. You just don't get a story about them, but there families. The dynamics of the characters makes you feel like you are a part of there family. I absolutely loved this book and it is in my top reads of 2015!!! I not only loved this book but fell head over heels in love with Deacon who is a HOT alpha male. I cannot wait for the next book in the Caged series.
Love Burns-Love Burns picks up and continues Deacon and Frankie's story!! If you have not read the first book in the 2 part story you need to grab book 1 Love Hurts.
This book bought you right back front and center into the middle of Deacon and Frankie's little family. These characters are amazing and you don't want to leave them. This book was smoking hot, definitely pulls at the hard strings, and will make you laugh!!
Love Fights-
Maxi and Leo finally meet again after a huge mistake in the past! What happens when you bring a hot MMA fighter and a kickass girl together? A short story full of chemistry emotion, and thanks to second chances a healing of the past! Bonus you get some Deacon love which makes for a fabulous read!!
Love love love this series!
Love Hurts: This is a beautiful friends to lovers romance. Hot and enough angst! Deacon Love is a MMA fighter and his Princess Frankie is a dancer. Loved their chemistry and sexy times!! Love love love Deacon and his filthy mouth! He is the ultimate book boyfriend! Sexy and all alpha!
Love Burns: Love Burns is the conclusion to Deacon and Frankie's story. This was the perfect ending! Deacon is still all alpha and filthy mouthed! Love them!
Love Fights: This was short and sexy, sweet! Leo, the hot MMA trainer and Maxie, the girl who got away. Leo and Maxie were thrown together after years apart and now he is training her for an upcoming fight. I loved them! I also loved seeing that sexy Deacon Love!! I missed this crew alot! Need more!
Characters so easy to connect to!
When you can read a story and feel yourself drawn in because it feels like your own, you know you're reading a good book.
Deacon and Frankie are so raw and believable, it's easy to fall for their story. I loved how the story line fed off their relationship while never letting the plot overtake what felt more important: two people learning to trust each other and put themselves at risk, emotionally and physically, for each other. It's relatable and it's beautiful and yeah... The sex is really hot, too. Deacon is a well drawn Alpha, all the swagger while still being vunerable and Frankie is subby while still retaining her spitfire. I highly recommend this box set.
Deacon and Frankie in a box set? Yes, please!
I had no idea what to expect going into either of these books but I was completely blown away! A hot MMA fighter with a filthy mouth and a kick butt heroine was all I needed! This book should come with a warning..Deacon's dirty mouth is going to having you wanting more and Frankie is one strong chick! that you'd love to have as your bestie! I loved the novella that was included, it was fun to get a little background on Maxie and Leo, and to see a tiny bit more of Deacon and Frankie. A must for any Mandi Beck fan!
Love Hurst
Emotionally charged love story filled with all of the hurt, angst and emotion that you would expect from an alpha male who is a cage fighter and the powerhouse heroine locked in a small frame. I truly enjoyed this story and cannot wait to continue the saga in the next book. Mandi Beck certainly doe snot disappoint with these two characters!!
Love Burns
This is the second story in the series and every page just got better and better. Mandi Beck takes the reader on an amazing journey with Frankie and Deacon. Their chemistry was off the charts. Another fabulous read!!
Good god my heart oh the damage my heart has taken while reading this set was sooo worth it! Frankie and deacon have had blow after blow throughout life but they got through it together! When together means more than just friends the fight changes and both have to figure out how much more they can take!
I absolutely love the Loves and just how fiercely they protect and love one another but above all I love the love Frankie and Deacon for each other and just how much each is willing to give!
Good
Really good. Wish there had been more time during the book that they got along. Seemed like that was infrequent and short-lived.
Love!
I absolutely loved this boxed series. I had remembered reading Love Hurts by itself and then I must have fallen off the planet because I didn't follow up with Love Burns so finding them together in the boxed set was amazing. Deacon and Frankie are the best and I'm happy to have gotten a peak into Leo's happily ever after as well.
