Beyond UFOs: The Science of Consciousness & Contact with Non Human Intelligence

Rate this book
This 820 page book details the academic research findings of the world’s first comprehensive multi-language quantitative and qualitative 5 year academic research study on individuals that have had UFO related contact with Non Human Intelligence (NHI)-- The FREE Experiencer Research Study.

Over the last 5 years FREE has collected detailed responses to 3 extensive quantitative and qualitative surveys from over 4,200 individuals from over 100 countries. Our survey findings from these thousands of "Experiencers" contradict much of what is circulating in mainstream materialist Ufology.

Our academic book will establish a new paradigm for viewing the UAP (UFO) Contact Phenomenon. FREE argues that "Consciousness" and the paranormal and psychic aspects of this phenomenon is the key to understanding this complex phenomenon instead of the traditional materialist perspective of "nuts & bolt's" Ufology.

The Dr. Edgar Mitchell Foundation for Research into Extraterrestrial and Extraordinary Experiences, or FREE, is a 501c3 Academic Research Not for Profit Foundation. FREE was co-founded by the late Apollo 14 astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell, Dr. Rudy Schild, an Emeritus Research Astronomer at the Harvard/Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics at Harvard University, Australian researcher Mary Rodwell and Rey Hernandez, an Attorney and Experiencer who was a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of California at Berkeley. FREE is comprised of retired academic professors and lay researchers who have been researching the field of Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon (UAP) and contact with Non-Human Intelligence (NHI) for more than 30 years. The Executive Director of FREE is Harvard Astrophysicist Dr. Rudy Schild.

This book presents the astounding results of a groundbreaking survey (by the FREE foundation) of 3200 contact experiences with UFO-related non-human intelligence (NHI) in over 100 countries. It differs from all previous studies in scale and comprehensiveness (600 quantitate and 70 open-ended questions) but also in its focus on the nature and content of direct conscious contact with intelligent beings (not via dreams, hypnotic regression or channeling) instead of a narrow focus on the UFO itself in most other studies.
Less than half of these encounters were with physically present NHI and these non-physical encounters involved a great deal of paranormal experiences like telepathic communication, out of body experiences, travel to other dimensions, viewing a past life, time distortion and miraculous healing. Moreover, most of the respondents had multiple contact experiences and report positive behavioral outcomes, resulting in psychic abilities, such as precognition, telepathy, an ability to see auras around people and synchronicity persisting (for about a year) after a contact experience. Most experiencers underwent " a dramatic positive transformation of their values and worldviews" including "an increase in spirituality and empathy, sensitivity towards the ecology of our majestic planet Earth, and a decrease in the continued pursuit of material wealth and celebration of ego and human exploitation". Many believe that their experiences are part of a plan by the NHI to transform humanity " into a more self-aware, spiritually sensitive species" and save the planet from impending destruction by nuclear warfare or an ecological catastrophe.
Who are these experiencers and are they different from the rest of us earthlings? While there is no evidence that experiencers suffer from any mental illness, they are likely to be sensitive to non-ordinary realities and over half characterized themselves as intuitive psychic children with precognitive ability who encountered non-physical beings before the age of five.
Others like estate-tax lawyer and FREE founder, Rey Hernandez, were mature conventional adults when their life views were totally overturned by a series of astounding encounters with NHI, many of which were shared with his wife. Up till then Hernandez saw himself as a " typical over-educated material rationalist who ridiculed anyone who believed in spirituality, UAPs, NDEs, OBEs, or any other paranormal topic." Yet after months of encounters, he had a profound experience in his car in the middle of a traffic jam, when his consciousness left his body and he was provided with information that all the different ways of interacting with NHI, such as NDEs , OBE, or remote viewing, or channeling, are essentially part of one phenomenon, bound together by consciousness.
The FREE survey clearly supports such a view. It is hard for us to comprehend what computer scientist and astronomer, Jacques Vallée, called "something that is both technological and psychic, and seems to be able to manipulate other dimensions." John Alexander writes in Chapter 14 of this book that it is difficult to do research when we can't define the problem or categorize what often seems indescribable. Traditional science is based on repetition and consistency but UFO sightings are elusive outliers. Therefore, this new approach to examine contact with NHI should be more productive, particularly if it can be integrated into parapsychology.
The fact that so many experiencers (over a third) have had an NDE (near death experience) shows that we are dealing with a special group of people, perhaps those whose brain does not filter out non-ordinary frequencies of consciousness. In my opinion, this warrants further investigation.
I certainly recommend this book because you can learn a great deal from it if you can keep your mind open to bewildering experiences. I can't give the book five stars because it is certainly not easy to read and hard to differentiate between the main survey results, which are presented in the first two chapters and the analysis of different experts throughout the book which also includes additional survey results and their own case studies. It would have been much easier to read and reference if all the survey results had been presented together in one section. Then it would have been much easier to regard Egar Mithchell's model of the quantum hologram, Rudy Schild's ideas on non-local consciousness, and other's theories of hybrid dna as no more than possible interpretations of the data. Whether we agree or disagree with these theories, we need to take the findings of this survey very seriously and in the words of the book's authors" the anomalous and the “Integrated Contact Modalities” have a crucial role to play in the advancement of our scientific understanding."

The most detailed and well studied book I've ever seen in the topic of the fringe science of ESP with NHI.

The positives outdo the negatives. Only for that the purchase is worth it.
There is a wealth of information there, so many cases and interesting texts, it has the potential to make the UFO study much more sophisticated with a lot of well meaning individuals.

The negatives are actually very scary to say the least.
The trend to re-brand UFOs as UAPs came from the military mostly, so what they are up to here? To forget all previous studies?
There is an other bizarre new trend, that I spotted first at Pasulka's work, the talk that UFologists don't have PHDs, and that is why the subject is so muddy. As you need a PHD to tackle UFOs, well get that, if were for the PHDs there would be no study of UFOs whatsoever, a PHD may not be the best person to deal with the phenomenon, this could be expanded to ten fold levels here, but it sounded, and it is, a very elitist and pretentious statement to say the least, and a lot of what was presented is quite questionable, so even this phd thing does not saved you from errors.

And last but not least, the lack of understanding for the material side of the UFO phenomenon (I don't care about your re-branding, I find it abhorring), disregarding other aspects that are also very important as UFO crashes and UFO dogfights with airplanes. Ignoring this you are cherry picking data.

Oh, that was not the last thing, the bizarrely shallow understanding of the hypnoses process in getting into contact with the UFO narrative, yes, hypnoses is a gateway to the contact, if you didn't get this, it means you barely touched the surface of the phenomenon.

Yes, there is a lot of stuff wrong with this people, but at least they put a lot of effort to it, that is undeniable.
