Griffin Lawrence is a star at the top of his career. His TV show is popular, he has a loyal fan base, and he’s just been invited to appear on stage with a prestigious acting company in Chicago. He’s excited and happy until he comes face to face with a ghost from his past.
Levi Rudd is a theatrical costume designer with the premier stage troupe in the Windy City. He’s already been saddled with being the personal assistant to the aging diva Sir Edward Tredwell. Now, his old flame has been cast in a pivotal role in that season’s production of Julius Caesar.
A moment of indiscretion reignites fires from the past that Griffin and Levi thought had been reduced to ashes. Rekindled fires burn brightly, and it might take a lot of work to resurrect their old romance. Will they try to put out the fire, or will they take a second chance on love?

Excellent book. I love this author as each book makes me smile and feel good about life. A sweet story of Levi and Griffin, two long time lovers trying to reconnect. Both strong willed men, yet both full of insecurities. A chance reconnection brings them together, and with the help of cranky Sir Edward, Pete and Katie you are in for a fun ride. You wonder if Levi will be able to get out of his head and follow his heart, you wonder if Griffin can be trusted —-you soon learn love does conquer all.
