Will they recognize that the only right way to move forward is the one in which they’re together?

Bonus short story:
The Way Back: High school ended a long time ago, and Peter’s not the same sappy idiot who used to trail after his older brother’s straight best friend. The only problem is, Cupid can’t seem to keep his nose out of their business.

Funny, tragic, exciting, erotic, brilliant

This series is excellent. Few times have I come across a series like this that is not only believable but also enthralling and so very true in it's clever way of discussing some very real doubts and insecurities many people deal with in relationships. May has given us a consderant and sexy story with some very hot and sexy lovers as they each deal with their own problems as well as a powerful overall storyline that presents a dangerous and potentially deadly threat to them all. Highly original and very much a beautifully crafted story that I can highly recommend to any reader.

**********Contains Spoilers***********

Each story in this collection has been reviewed separately. Great collection of stories. I couldn’t put them down.

The Easy Way - I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I loved the instant connection between Cort and Cam. Cort is an FBI Agent trying to bring the Seavers to justice for blaming his brother Damon, the pilot of the Seavers Plane when the Plane crashed killing Levi & Charlotte Seaver and Amy McMann and hopefully get his brother’s life back. He gets found out that he’s using the FBI resources for self gain and writing a letter the Seaver Tech saying that they noticed that Sebastian Seaver hacked into somewhere he shouldn’t, there was no active investigation so Cort got stood down of administrative leave until they’ve reviewed everything and made an informed decision in regards to Cort’s future with the FBI. Cam lost his parents about a year ago and has taken over the interim running of Seaver Tech while Bas comes back to the land of the living since he’s spiralling in his grief since he lost not only his parent but his fiancé Amy McMann, his best friend Drew’s sister in the same plane crash. Cort needs to find a way to get close to the Seavers and take them down but as soon as he sees Cam at the Fundraiser he feels and instant attraction but as soon as he starts talking to Cam he realises that he generally likes the guy as well, they have a connection but due to Cort not being truthful about who he is and where he works nearly breaks cam even though and thinks that he imaged their connection and that Cort went above and beyond his duties by basically sleeping with Cam. After a few more instances that Cort withheld information and Cam finding out didn’t help matters This book has a lot twist and turns with the investigation into the plane crash. I’m looking forward to reading Cain and Damon’s book which should be really good since they seem so different and the mystery slowly unravel whose resposible

The Long Way - Wow, another awesome read by May Archer. I loved this book. Damon, and the others work out that it was Senator Shaw, Levi Seavers best friend and Cam and Bas’s honorary uncle who got his assistant/bodyguard Jack Peabody to sabotage the engine in the Seavers plane and framing Damon the pilot on their fight to take the fall for it, not thinking that he’ll make it out alive from the plane crash but he did. Cain is the Senator’s son found out that his dad was behind everything but goes back to being the dutiful son on his fathers campaign trail. To the others it looks bad, that even after hearing everything that he can still support his fathers values, considering it goes against who he is but he was planning on blowing the lid on the Senator but his father found out and is using Cain’s conscience against him to keep him in line, meaning that when Cain was still in high school he thought himself in love with a scholarship student Jesse until his father found them kissing and threatened Jesse’s scholarship and all he had to do was never see Cain again, Cain told his father and Jesse how he felt but Jesse basically threw it back in his face and saying that he was only using Cain. The Senator used this against Cain again when he found out what Cain was going to do and threatened Jesse’s livelihood, Jesse then got a fast tracked promotion when Cain dropped his investigation. Damon shows up at a fundraiser for Senator Shaw and starts to make a complete nuisance of himself but Cain steps in and saves Damon from being seen since he’s technically meant to be dead. After this they slowly start to trust each other and work together to get to the bottom of why the Senator’s done what he’s done and right his wrongs. I loved their banter with each other and seeing their connection slowly grow as the book goes along. I’m really looking forward to Drew and Bas’s story as well as the conclusion of this story.

The Right Way - Wow, this was my favourite book of the whole series. Drew and Bas have been best friends for years, Drew has harboured unrequited feelings for Bas for years. When Drew and Bas go to a Halloween party, Drew ends up getting drunk and they start playing a game with some old classmates and Bas is asked whether he’d either kiss Drew and never see Drew again. Drew and Bas argue about it but Bas ends up kissing Drew and Drew is completely disappointed as it was underwhelming but Bas comes back and kisses him like he means it, enjoys it but Drew being drunk doesn’t realise that he actually said his thoughts in his head out loud and that he’s loved Bas for years. They leave but argue and Bas does what Bas does best and runs, he doesn’t see or speak to Drew for months. it’s heartbreaking reading about Drew’s feelings in relation to this. Of course they make up, it just takes awhile for Drew and Bas to sort their sh*t out and realise that they’re perfect together, well it takes Bas awhile to workout his feelings for Drew and for Drew to believe that Bas is all in and isn’t going to run again. I completely loved their connection, that’s been years in the making. It was cool seeing Bas work out his feelings towards Drew and that he’s loved him for years without even realising it. The found family bonds in this story are awesome and everyone should be lucky to have an as close friends/family group. Total friends/family goals and considering most of them had pretty shi*ty upbringings and have lost a lot, it just means that much more that they have each other to lean on. Man, Drew and Bas give me so much feels, the emotion shown by each of them pulls on the heartstrings. I loved how Drew knows how to get Bas out of his head and found it funny that when Drew is extremely stressed that he becomes very domesticated and loves taking care of everyone he loves. Man, I loved seeing how they kind of got justice for the deaths of their loved ones and what they’ve done in their legacies is awesome.

I’d definitely recommend this collection, series and author to everyone.

What a wonder, well written series with amazing men.

I loved reading this series, read every word which is getting harder to do with books today.

The easy way: Cort and Cam they are my new favourite couple. Cam was so strong and forgiving and Cort was so loyal and loved so hard. They are gorgeous, loved other characters and the story flowed beautifully and was interesting.

The long way: Damon and Cain had a cute relationship and their banter was really adorable and funny, the story continued and it was interesting.

The right way: Took me a bit longer to get into this story but when Drew and Seb got together they were perfect, beyond perfect together, they knew each other better than anyone and it was great their friendship followed them into the relationship. Would of been better if you heard a bit more what happened to the bad guys or they got some resolution for all there grief.

What I didnt like is why, all but Cort had slept together or around like Cam and Drew but Drew had always loved Seb, Drews brother. Cain slept with a guy that Damon did and Cain also slept with Cam. Seb slept with Drews sister. Didnt get why?????
Couldnt get my head around why Cain wouldnt come forward about his dad and why did he have to have a relationship with him and why was he not jailed for killing people?????? I believe if one of my kids killed someone I would dob them in and I love my kids so much but come on murder and you would let them go and on top of that your dad also wrecked the life of the guy you love more than anything hmmmm. I know its only a story and a really good one at that just a few pet peeves.

The way back: quick, cute and sweet.

Enjoyed the series alot!

Really enjoyed the stories between all the men. How they came together and how they formed a family of misfits but love each other. Though reading Drew and Sebastian seems like I've seen their story in another book but the ending was well worth it. Hope this series comes out on Audible. This would be nice to listen to it the narrator can carry it out. One I could listen to again for a re read.

Man such a good series!

There is so much to love about this series. It keeps you intrigued throughout the whole series with such deep complex characters who stay consistent all the way through. You may think you know what's going to happen but you'll be wrong in the best way.I love getting Peter's HEA afterwards. Like putting the shiny now on a beautifully wrapped package.

Love Each Story!! They are all about six men who face looked beyond the superficial to find that love is more important than the obstacles standing in their way. Awesome books... Nice to see a gay themed 007 storyline going with happy endings for all... However, editing needs to be better because some words and phrases don't make sense in the plots, auto-corrections or misspelled words are a constant... Other than that, the books were awesome to read... Keep them coming...

Excellent value. The last one lost its way at times and if I ever meet a man who rolls his eyes I'm liable to do him some harm. Luckily they only exist in these books, not in real life. Still, I enjoyed them.

A wonderful trilogy THE WAY HOME, with three connecting stories, with different couples ! We get crime families, good folks, and hot sexy times. EXCELLENT !

1) THE EASY WAY
Kendrick "Cort" Cortland, a big, muscled hunk, with longish messy blonde hair, green eyes and scruff, is an FBI investigator, who thinks his brother is missing. His brother, Damon is his foster brother.
Camden Seaver, (on cover) with blue eyes,

dark brown hair, freckles and lean muscles, (on cover) Who works at Seaver Tech. His brother is Sebastian/Bas.
Cort and Cam are exciting and sexy together, vers, and sizzle when they touch.
We have the mystery of Sebastian's investigating their parent's deadly crash, and find out if their brother Damon is alive. This is fast paced that gives us all of the characters, and what the next step will be.

2) THE LONG WAY
Damon Fitzpatrick, 40, tall, broad shoulders, hazel eyes and gray/silver hair, scars and a limp, wants bring down Senator Shaw who ruined his life. Damon has been hiding.
Cain Shaw, 25, blue eyes, (on cover)

The Senator's son who wants the truth. Cain and Damon are attracted, but how can Damon reappear without getting arrested. Cain's Dad is corrupt, but they need proof. Our men jump from a kiss to hot sexy times in a pink hotel room, where they are vers and scorching hot.
A piece of the mysterious puzzle is found, but we have more issues to find.

3) THE RIGHT WAY
Sebastion/Bas, 30, has thick brown hair and blue eyes, who needs to know more about the Russian mob leaders.
Drew, 30, (on cover) Bas's BFF

since they were 14, a Lawyer with dark hair, and dark eyes, want to help with a better plan. Since Bas's brother is out of seclusion, he investigates more carefully to solve a big problem. The Russian bad guys are pulling strings, and some folks are doing their bidding. After Bas and Drew's Halloween kiss, Bas disappears, but after he's back, both are afraid to talk about it, losing the friendship is not acceptable. They have more talking and Bas is so confused, never having been attracted to a man except Drew, so it's GFY, and vers. We get a lot more after the second kiss, and our two men are beginning to have more firsts and deeper feelings. After confiding in a friend, Bas is ready to speak up and say how he feels. The investigation continues, plans take shape, and we get to witness the big take down, but it's full of surprises. WOW !

4) THE WAY BACK
This is a short extra tale of hoe Peter gets back with his long lost love It's very good.
ENJOY all of these !

Good! The way home box set

It took me a while to get started on this series. I downloaded this months and months ago and for whatever reason, I only read the first chapter of the first book and I closed it, but I didn't delete it from my Library and I'm glad I didn't because surprise surprise now that I've come back to it I enjoyed the entire series even the little novella at the end. There wasn't a part of any of the 3 books that I found irritating or
annoying, and the stories flowed.

The little shock at the end of book 3. I was almost in tears thinking he actually died.

I appreciated that the danger factor didn't go from explosive in the first book to an afterthought in the remaining books. It stayed consistent throughout the series, and in each book, there was action plus romance. So many times in books and series like these, there is this build up of a threat, and then it's over in like 3 sentences, and you're left feeling gypped and unsatisfied. Not so in this series. I'm also pleased that this wasn't a series that at the end of each book, the couple did some cheesy marriage proposal. The book just ended, and then the next started up.

I enjoyed the parings in each of these books, but I will say that Cort, bas, drew and Damon made a horrible first impression. Cam and Cain were the only 2 that from the beginning I liked, and Eli was a hoot. With that said, what I liked most about the pairings was that each person in the couple had their own insecurities, so there wasn't an imbalance. I get really distracted and annoyed by books where one partner is weak and wholly reliant on the other, and the other one is left being bodyguard, therapist, best friend and lover. But in these books, there is equality in the partnerships wherein each person in the couple brought their own strength and insecurities. I like that any miscommunication didn't go on for chapters and worsened the relationship. They dealt with whatever they needed to deal with, and then the story moved on. So overall, well written and enjoyable series.

I guess I'll use this to review the entire series and as a placeholder for The Way Back, since I'm not seeing it on GoodReads. Basically this is the MOST popcorn series of books I've read in a while, and I do mean that in both a good and a bad way. Do not read these if you are hoping for a plot that makes a lot of sense! Do read these if you, like me, have always enjoyed techno-thrillers and wish the romance subplots could be more gay!

The Easy Way -
Strong start to the series.
InstaLove, opposites attract, enemies-to-lovers. A hint of mystery/suspense.
Forewarning: book one in this box set contains several typos - nothing too glaring (otherwise I'm sure proofreaders, betas, and/or the editor would have flagged them).
Read: 3/5 - 3/7

The Long Way -
Picks up pretty much where the first book left off but features the Senator's son Cain and Cort's brother, Damon. It's another sort of Enemies-to-lovers, InstaLove, opposites attract trope, but with the added Age Gap of 15+ years. Third-person POV. No noticed typos. Sort of an abrupt ending.
Read: 3/8 - 3/11

The Right Way -
Bas & Drew
Tech genius and Lawyer
Childhood best friends.
One's been in love with the other for 1/2 his life.
The other was straight, until he wasn't.
I loved this couple's journey.
Read: 3/11 - 16

The Way Back -
Drew's assistant, Peter, finds his HEA with a childhood crush, Logan, who was good friends with Peter's older brother, Jared, during a Valentine's party where Cupid strikes!
Read 3/17
