Note: Confessing is the third book in the Fighting series. It is not a standalone book. Please read Fighting and Lying first.
Spencer fought hard for everything he wanted, but in one night, his life is ripped open and he's left broken and bleeding. How could everything happen so fast? How could he let this happen at all?
August has questions. Way too many questions and not enough answers. What really happened? Who can she trust? Who should she really believe? Who would believe her?
Tim and Susie from Pleasantville are officially fugitives on the run, and the truth isn't always as simple as it seems.

I'm a story junkie. I love to read, write and basically inhale all kinds of stories, mostly books. Sometimes movies. Occasionally cartoons. I write my two favorite genres, action/adventure and romance.
Confessing picks up immediately where book 2 (Lying) left off so it is necessary to read Lying prior to this book. This was a great conclusion to August (h) and Spencer's (H) love story. There was more action in this book than book 2 but not so much where the romance is put on the back burner. Through out the fight/action scenes the H and h's love via need for each other's safety was evident. The sexy times were hot. The epilogue was long enough to mentally and emotionally leave you in a good place.
Cat Phoenix is extremely talented and this action packed book is a testament to that claim. This is the third book of a three book series, so you may want to read the other two. I actually read this as an introduction to the characters found in the next book, One Hundred Percent.
This is the type of series that just gets better with every book. I’m literally almost failing chemistry and i skipped studying for my final tonight in order to finish this book.
I definitely recommend this book 1. The action is riveting without being drawn out. 2. The romance is hot and well timed 3. The story is unique 4. Secondary cast are interesting 5. Its a cant put you down even when the kids are fighting, the dinner is burning, the dog is barking and the door bell is ringing type of book.
If you have been following this storyline, you will not be disappointed by this new book! It is really her best work so far. The details, the character development, the feelings it will bring up for you — I was truly and sincerely impressed. If you haven’t started the series, do it now! Bravo!
The first book ended in a cliffhanger so I jumped straight into this one. I devoured it, it was so good. Loved the action, humour and felt the intense feelings that August went through. Definitely recommend
