Full Disclosure

Rate this book
To move forward, sometimes you need to go back…

Weddings are stressful under the best of circumstances, which this certainly isn't. Following the release of his debut movie, No Apologies, Greg Falkner is working hard to be a better man to fiancé Aaron Blake. When their alma mater contacts Greg and asks him to serve as their celebrity master of ceremonies for an upcoming charity event, he grudgingly accepts at Aaron's urging.

Aaron admires the new man Greg has become yet craves the old independence of his lover. He'd love to strike a compromise in the relationship and hopes that returning to their beginning will help Greg lay some personal demons to rest.

Neither man anticipates the violence that will befall one of them, potentially changing both lives in unimaginable ways. What emerges from the darkness, through frustrations and determination, is a love for all time.

NOTE: Full Disclosure follows Aaron and Greg’s lives after No Apologies, but can be read as a stand-alone story.

A huge part of Full Disclosure takes place at Lawson, Greg and Aaron's former school where everything began when they met for the first time during their senior year ten years ago. Greg has been asked to make the opening speech at the auction. However, coming back to Lawson means so much more than holding a speech. Aaron and especially Greg are forced to face memories and old demons which prove to be complicated and disturbing.

Full Disclosure is book 3 in the Hollywood series and my first m-m read by Tibby Armstrong. I started off with two m-f stories (Public Relations and Hard Target) and decided to give her m-m series a try. I must say she did not disappoint and I'm looking forward to going back to book 1 No Apologies to catch up with Greg and Aaron's schooldays in the near future. I read Full Disclosure on a whim and I'm used to reading out of order, however, I'm convinced that anyone who'd done the same would feel compelled to checking out the first book. Besides, the author placed enough interesting hints to make readers want to go back in time. Funnily enough, I've noticed that my reading out of order raises my anticipation to checking out previous books in a series all the more.

Bottom line, Full Disclosure is a rather emotional and compelling ride, well-written and testament to how much these two need and love each other. They have come full circle.

Let's erase every self-doubt, fear, anger and hurt
Everything you hoped for, dreamed of
Is concrete because
You can go anywhere, be anything you want
As long as I'm with you you're complete

Let's dance through life together
You lead, I follow
When I stumble you'll catch me, put me back on my feet
Because through your understanding and perseverance
I found strength to grow and evolve to come upon my calm self

We all have a right
To be whoever we want to be
And to love whoever we want
With no apologies

Wow, Ms. Armstrong really improves here…again. I didn’t think this series needed improving – it reads just fine – but this is a standout in an already outstanding m/m romance series.

I’m not writing a full review here, not because it doesn’t deserve it, but because I want to get right to finishing book 4 and to writing its review. I will make a few comments though.

"I am who I am because you allow me to be. You let me be strong. Brave. and good." Aaron's tone implored him to believe the truth in his words. "You're the angel here, Greg. Not me"
[...]
Because you allowed me inside your hurt and let me show you how to love yourself, I learned how to love too."

The love is deeper, more mature and more meaningful. Much more emotional. The struggles have come full circle and have to be conquered once and for all. Getting to watch that happen, in well written form, is so rewarding. It’s what we read for. This is an emotional ride with proper highs and lows. Rough patches and smooth, loving moments that allowed me to catch my breath.

The commitment becomes completely solidified, but not without struggles, angst and pain first. It’s a pleasure to see the development of this relationship.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I would like to thank Tibby Armstrong for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I got a much better feel for Aaron and Greg in this book. With their wedding day approaching, the men go back to their old high school for a reunion weekend where Greg is asked to be an MC for a charity auction. Aaron convinces Greg to go to make peace with the past, as Aaron is going to try to communicate with his parents. Things go horribly wrong during the weekend and the two men are faced with a potentially life altering situation that forces them to deal with some issues that had been pushed aside for the past 10 years.

Overall I was very happy with the story and filling in the answers to some of the questions that were raised at the end of the first book. but other than that minor niggle I was happy to see the two men solidifying their commitment to each other.

I have no words for how much I loved this book. Well, maybe I do. I am so thrilled that we got to delve back into Greg and Aaron's life. Even after 10 years together they weren't really "together" and this is the culmination of all their trials and tribulations so far. It made me cry and ache and love and sigh. My absolute favorite kind of book. Kept me from accomplishing one thing today because I absolutely could not put it down. Thanks Tibby!

Woohoo! Another book done in this series!

Full Disclosure was the shortest audio of this series (and also the smallest book). It was about 3 hours long? Maybe less. However, it was still enjoyable. In it, we get to know Aaron and Greg a bit more - which is a plus in my eyes.

These two definitely face their fair share of struggles. Especially since they actually faced their past in this book. I have no idea how they could handle going back to school just to do it. It doesn't matter if it has been 10 years or 50 - everyone has demons to face. Plus, I still have no idea why they aren't fully together yet. It's frustrating right now and honestly, Aaron deserves way better in my eyes.

There was one thing that I definitely didn't like in this book (a part form the whole no relationship thing) but ugh, the whole healing shit. Once Aaron left, he should've just stayed gone. Not that I don't want them together and shit but Greg totally doesn't deserve him. Greg should've stopped being the stuborrn ass he is and just take Aaron right then and there. Instead of having to realize that he lost the best thing that has ever happened to him.

Overall, ugh.. but hey - I still like these two and these books.

I was definitely feeling Greg and Aaron MUCH more in this book! Love these guys!

Having them go back to their school and face the demons of their past (and not the movie version)...most excellent.

This would have been a GREAT read if it wasn't for one thing...something way too eye-rolling-worthy to overlook...

That just bummed me out...too convenient...

Still, this series just gets stronger and stronger w/ each book...

So I basically marathoned this series on audible courtesy of their romance package and I'm feeling pretty much reviewed out so I'm going to do one review for the series and you'll find it with the last book in the series if you're curious and if not...well that's cool too. Have a good one and carry on.

I’m always such an emotional basket case when I finish one of Tibby’s books and that’s not a bad thing, it just proves what an absolutely gifted writer she is. She makes me feel and she makes me think and most of all she reminds me why I love to read. Full Disclosure is a novella in her Hollywood series. If you haven’t read No Apologies and Acting Out you won’t understand what a huge deal this book is. In this story, we finally get to see a lot of the “real” relationship between Aaron and Greg from the first two books. I say real because in the first book (No Apologies) we mainly saw the Hollywood film version of their adolescent relationship, in book two (Acting Out) we saw little snippets of their grown up relationship which just had me (and I’m sure other readers) wanting more. In this book, she delivers that and so much more!

This book picks up after the release of the movie No Apologies and after the Academy Awards, Aaron and Greg are settling in to their shared home. Since Greg finally “came out” at the Academy Awards obviously their lives have changed. It was good to see that Aaron has helped Greg learn to deal with a lot of his anger and remains supportive in all ways.

When Aaron accepts an invitation for Greg to speak at their old high school alma mater, where their relationship started and where they suffered for it, Greg is not happy to say the least. But, he realizes that this is something they must do together. Taking them back to Lawson to confront their past is a brilliant move on Tibby’s part because so much of who they are today as men was shaped by the years they spent there. Because I don’t want to give too much away so, I’ll just say that while there they run into some people who bullied them in the past and things haven’t changed. When Greg is severely injured, this story takes on a whole new life and I can’t even begin to explain how gut wrenching and emotional these scenes are. One thing is for certain after this book, I have no doubt these two will forever be together.

In addition to Aaron and Greg, we are treated to a few moments with Jeremy and Kit from Acting Out. It was interesting to see Jeremy riding high on his new found fame and Kit struggling which just brings to light how fickle fame can be. I’m looking forward to see more of them in Out Takes. A student at Lawson, Scott, was introduced and made quite a statement. I hope to see more of his character as well.

Full Disclosure is a perfect addition to Tibby Armstrong’s Hollywood series. It was satisfying to finally get to see the real Aaron and Greg and watch their commitment to each other come full circle. Most of all she makes the point that tolerance, love and acceptance makes all the difference in the world and that’s a lesson everyone needs to learn.

I continue to love this series!

This is the third book and focuses once again on Greg and Aaron. They are planning their wedding but most of the story focuses on a visit back to their school where Greg has been invited as a celebrity auctioneer.

It is really interesting to learn more about their past and their school days. The story is also about violence and provides a look at how Greg and Aaron both react to the situation that has befallen them. The road to their wedding is a long and traumatic one for both of them.

Of course, there is a great happy ending "With Aaron by his side he could conquer anything. Be anything. Together they were invincible, forever young and whole, always complete."

I am also very excited to learn their is a fourth book in the series Out Takes which continues the story of Jeremy and Kit. No release date as yet but hopefully not long!

So here we have come full circle in the epic series that has been the love story of Greg and Aaron. The blurb does say this can be read as a stand-alone but to get the full picture (and pleasure!) I would definitely first read No Apologies (the film Greg wrote about their early relationship) and Acting Out (the filming and subsequent relationship of the actors Kit and Jeremy).

This book picks up after the film release and the Academy Awards (swoons again remembering that scene). Greg and Aaron are now living together and preparing for their impending marriage (Yes! Yes!). Greg has fully embraced who he is after he “came out” at the premiere. However Aaron feels that Greg is holding back on certain things and when they receive an invitation for Greg to present at a ceremony at their old school, he thinks that by going back to where it all started will resolve old hurts once and for all. Oh blooming heck – little did they know what would happen there would have the most impact on their future together.

Tibby Armstrong has again delivered a page turner and I would have to say this is the best book of the series. What happens at the school had my heart in my mouth and I was dreading what Tibby had done, that this was going to go in an altogether different way than I wanted it to. Yes I was shouting at my kindle “Don’t you dare Tibby!” “You better not make that happen” (yes I am loco when involved in a book) I won’t go into detail as I hate reviews that give spoilers but will say one little “huh?” did happen for me….the “recovery” seemed a bit of a miracle and came too quick. I’d have maybe drawn another chapter out on that. But then that’s me wanting MOAR! MOAR!

I love Tibby’s unique storytelling and I just want to devour everything she has written. I absolutely adored this series and especially this book. The ending was…….oh the ending! In a word it was…Devine. Simply DEVINE! I hope this isn’t the last of Greg and Aaron but if not I can always re-read. Yes I will definitely read this again….and again…and again. Wonderful.

This was an excellent addition to the series and I'm glad it came back to Greg and Aaron's story because things still seemed unresolved with them. Well not anymore! The first book had Aaron very angry with Greg and ready to call it quits, and the second book had Greg still trying to make amends to Aaron but at least they were moving forward. I was happy to see that the beginning of this book showed them now living openly together and planning to get married. Even though Greg clearly needed a kick in the pants at times, I did have to frown a little bit at Aaron in the beginning because he complained Greg was now trying too hard to please him all the time, but then he turned around and manipulated Greg into going back to their alma mater even though Greg clearly didn't want to go. I know they both had demons to put to rest and it really was for their own good, but it seemed like he played on Greg's insecurities (Greg was still afraid Aaron would walk away) to get what he wanted. I was also disappointed with Aaron at the way he basically abandoned Greg once they got to Lawson in order to be with his old school buddies who didn't like Greg. It forced Greg to confront some of his fears on his own but almost made him withdraw into himself again too from all the painful memories. But then I was proud of Aaron when he really stepped up and claimed Greg as his man in front of everyone at the ball and tried to give him happy memories instead. The attack on Greg and his injuries that followed were heartwrenching but really cemented how deeply in love these two were and how they couldn't live without the other. Their journey was definitely full of ups and downs and difficult in more ways than one, so it did my heart good to see them so solid and happy at the end. After so much angst and drama they certainly deserved it (and so do Kit and Jeremy). Well done Tibby!

Aaron and Greg have been together since...well, seems like forever. They are engaged, in the middle of wedding planning and going back to their school where Greg has been invited as a Master of ceremonies. Greg has nothing but bad memories of his time in Lawson but for Aaron he decides to make the effort and go. And then all turns to hell.

Their relationship was intense but also full of things they were hiding from each other. For some reason after such a long time together they couldn't open up completely and some serious things had to happen to allow that.

I'll admit I got teary eyed (yes, I might've even cried) towards the end. Once they were able to communicate, the love they had for one another was pure and knew no boundaries. And what Aaron had to go through because of the fact that they were a gay couple at the end makes me mad at society and that things would have to be this way.

I loved Aaron's dominant side but also how he was able to let Greg turn the tables at times. Just knowing what his partner needed and when.

I'll admit that maybe at times I was at a loss about certain issues, but of course, I haven't read the previous books in the series so that is to be expected. But I still enjoyed the story and could sense that there is more to their romance because a lot of things felt like they came to a head. That being said, I would suggest that you start with book one, I know I will be going back to read them!

Oh my, what a book! I knew it, I knew Tibby would deliver yet another fantastic novel, but still, what a book! I don’t know where to begin and where to end. The protagonists, yes, Aaron and Greg. We met them through “No Apologies”, we saw glimpses of them on “Acting Out” and we see them bloom on “Full Disclosure”.
With their wedding approaching Aaron needs to see both himself and Greg letting go of the past and the shadows that still lurk in the corner. Both he and Greg decide to go back to the place where it all started, the place that held their best and worse memories of their life. Aaron in an attempt to reconcile his relationship with his family and Greg in a last attempt to let go his fears and darkness for his hatred Lawson. Ten years have passed and although a lot seemed to have changed the pair soon learned that a lot still remained the same, if not a tad more dangerous. Prejudice once again proved to be their worst enemy, an enemy making a strong attempt to take even Greg’s life.
This book highlights the scars and the trauma that is left from bullying so strongly it makes your hear tighten at the wrongness and the unfairness of it all. The emotions generated are strong and tug at your heart, making you want to swap at the ugliness and wipe it off of the face of the earth. The proverb “Live and let live” has constantly been present on my mind while reading this book. Is it so hard for people to do at least that? Tibby Armstrong makes quite the statement through her story and she doesn’t sugar coat it, no, rather let it slip bluntly through her text.
There are also those great moments in this book that makes your heartbeat go faster. Sensual, sexy and playful the sex between Aaron and Greg is almost painfully stimulating. Enwrapped in humor the light dominion/submission games are hard to resist and not dive in the feeling that the author so artfully created. The chemistry of these two characters is amazing, lacking no strength, sensuality or intimacy. It is deep and profound and you can sense it in every word and line. You can clearly see that, through their stupid display of sacrifice too. Greg, being the self-loathing bastard that he is, with that slight tendency toward self-destruction, nearly blows it all condemning both him and Aaron to misery. Yes, the display of how love makes us too blind to see the obvious isn’t missing from this story and although at times it seems that this won’t have a happy ending, one must be expected as this certain author has a love for happily ever after’s even through the darkest of the stories, which is the reason why I like her so much.
I do recommend this book to anyone who has even a slight tendency for romance. Even if you haven’t read the previous books you will enjoy it. The flashbacks to the past make it easy for someone that is reading this book as a standalone to understand the pair’s connection, their whole existence. You don’t feel the need to read the previous books in order to understand, rather to feel and live this great romance to its full extent.
So take a nice and long breath and make sure you have hours ahead of you because I can guarantee you will not put this down until it’s over. Enjoy!

FULL DISCLOSURE had so many sigh-worthy moments I was left breathless. The emotional intensity of this romance is supremely satisfying and this novella is on my re-read shelf now.

This is one of the most emotionally intense MM romance novels I've recently read. Greg and Aaron were incredible leads in book one of the series but I was left wanting a little closure of my own about their romance--this novella offers that in a deeply satisfying way. Greg is still scared of his vulnerability to Aaron and Aaron feels it. This novella shows Greg willingly blasting himself open to Aaron and romance readers will be captivated as I was. I also loved seeing Aaron's calm fracture a bit as this bares his soul to Greg.

This is a novella about how two people commit to loving each other through life's ups and downs, goods and bads. Though these characters have been together since high school, I don't think they become a true couple until this compelling novella. In fact, Aaron figures this out in a beautifully described epiphany while in a coffee shop with a couple who have been married sixty-two years. I think readers will best enjoy this novella after reading book one in the series, No Apologies, but it would also be a very good read on its own.

I have to also mention the atmosphere this author sets. Perhaps it's because I'm the exact same age as the characters but she nails the musical tastes and other attributes of Gen Xers. For instance, Greg is a Nirvana fan since Smells Like Teen Spirit was released during his brooding senior year of high school when he was pining for Aaron. This adds great realism and fleshes out these two amazing characters.

I can't recommend FULL DISCLOSURE strongly enough for anyone looking for a tissue-necessary HEA!

This one gives us Aaron and Greg now, a full examination of them 10 years after we saw the beginnings of their love start and its not an easy journey to watch.

However, while there are some harsh steps along the way, ultimately their unfailing love for each other is allowed to triumph and bring them to a perfect happy ever after.

We see more about how Greg was so damaged by his upbringing and his time and school and we get an insight into how Aaron has been able to be his rock and his strength.

Not as much smexy times in this one but still enough of the incredible chemistry which the author has managed to craft between these two beautiful men.

Once again I’m going to say that you really need to read this series in order, and there will be minor spoilers of the previous books in this review. Anyway, with Full Disclosure we return to the lives of Greg and Aaron. It should be a happy time as they plan for their wedding but they have some demons in their past they need to confront in order to move forward. Aaron feels he has to face his mother and stepfather, who basically disowned him when he came out. Greg needs to face his former classmates that made his life hell while in school.

I always say that I like my books messy and complicated. Well, I got my wish here. Nothing is easy for Greg and Aaron and nothing magically works out for them. It’s a lot like real life, some of the people who hurt them in the past have grown up and some haven’t. The people that didn’t change made me angry. I had to put down my book a couple of times because I was so pissed. That’s not a complaint, I love books that make me feel that strongly involved in the lives of the characters!

My anger and outrage were only directed at the new circumstances Greg and Aaron found themselves in. Beneath all that was the long-term relationship which I still enjoyed. My interest in the dynamics of their relationship has grown with each book, and the new obstacles they were facing only added to it.

I have to say, I’m really liking this series. I love that both couples make appearances in every book. I get just enough information about the other couple to keep them current in my mind and make me wonder what’s happening in their lives. This is a series that stands out for me in a genre which can become a bit monotonous sometimes.

So, so good! Getting to see Aaron and Greg happy together AT LAST was amazing and fun and perfect and beautiful. I loved that this bit of their story wasn't any easier than the rest of their journey together, that they still had big things to work through and to get over and that after the buildup from the first two books everything wasn't all just magically perfect between them.

I think my favorite thing in this one was the old lady who sat with and gave advice to Aaron. I LOVED how realistic it was that Aaron honestly believed Greg wanted him gone and didn't magically develop super mind-reading powers like happens so often in romance. In real life, how many people would really have the confidence to see through a ploy like Greg's, and I adored that Aaron didn't. And in real life, how many times do the words or actions of others lead us to answers? I adored that Aaron found that in the old lady.

The only thing that kept this from getting 5 stars from me is the ease with which both Greg and Aaron fell back into ignoring and being content to ignore each other as soon as they got back to their school again. It had seemed in the first few chapters that they'd made progress enough to be more mindful of each other--especially in situations that were as difficult as going back to such a traumatic place--and it made me both sad and uncomfortable that they weren't.

Other than that, though, it was brilliant! It was so great to finally get to see these two happy!

I really enjoyed catching up with Greg and Aaron, in fact I loved this one more than their first book.

Greg is asked to go back to their alma mater to give a speech. I know shocking right?? He and Aaron decide to go but there's more than just facing their school demons. I loved seeing a more mature side of their relationship. Greg and Aaron are all grown up, their relationship is that much more intimate and more meaningful because of all they what went through. Their love shines so bright in this book, its amazing. It was an emotional read, both MCs had a hard time throughout. But the change they go through, especially Greg, is fantastic. My love for them grew by the end of the book.

There was just enough angst and drama to keep me interested without it being over-the-top. Again, I have to say I'm loving Tibby Armstrong's writing style. This is the third book I read and I'm really enjoying myself. This series definitely keeps getting better and better.

P.S I absolutely loved the hospital scene with the older couple. SO CUTE!!

P.P.S Nice touch with Kit's cameo .. I'm so curious about him and Jeremy. Can't wait for book 4 .. SQUEE!

All in all, it was an emotional, enjoyable and sweet read. Definitely recommended book and series

Fantastic read!!! In the first book I totally loved Aaron, but Greg was harder to get a read on. But then I guess that was the whole point, that Greg had a hard time sharing himself and his feelings.

With this book we finally see Greg opening up after he outed himself with No Apologies. And I think it worried Aaron, the changes in Greg. Then Aaron was trying so hard to connect with his family that he was missing how being back at their old school was affecting Greg. This time it was Aaron's anger that led to trouble. He just wanted to show them, Greg, his parents, the old classmates. He just wanted to show THEM ALL that he and Greg were together. Then after Greg was attacked he almost let his guilt and Greg's foolish self-sacrifice push him away.

Great ending for these two newlyweds... Or rather great beginning :)

3.5 stars. There is nary a scrap of anything but angst to be found in this book but I do enjoy a good sob fest. There was probably a little too much sex for me given the feeling of the book (and tbh, I don't really enjoy the D/s genre) and Greg's recovery was jarringly sudden, but it followed on nicely from the first book and it was good to get some closure. I enjoyed Kit/Jeremy's story more than Greg/Aaron's so I hope we get another book devoted to them after the little snippets we saw of them here.

This one had a bit of a slow start, but it really got rolling as it went along. I was in tears towards the end... true blubbering mess. I enjoyed the other two books a tiny bit more than this one, but really just a tiny bit. Like saying this one is a 4.98 stars instead of a 5.0. I imagine that it's really difficult to write a second novel with the same two main characters without making it dull (since relationships are nice and exciting when they first happen). So, hats off to Tibby for making this story not a dull "we're adults and life goes on" kind of book.

Tibby Armstrong did it again! Each book in this series gets, amazingly enough, better and better. This story was intimately focused on Greg and Aaron, the MCs from book #1, and it was wonderful (and also maddening, heartbreaking, and uplifting) to experience this part of their story. WOW! Don't miss this book--don't miss any of the books in this series!

Thank you, Ms Armstrong; please keep them coming!!

WOW!! This is the best book of the three and not to mention a real tear jerker, so have your box of tissue ready. I didn't think this book would be as good as the other two because we already had Greg and Aaron's story, but I was wrong. This one far out shined the other two, and maybe we will get another look at Kit and Jeremy's love story very soon. Thank you Tibby for such amazing words.

I really love Greg, and he's a character that will keep me coming back for more every time.

I had a hard time with this story compared to the other two, the flow was off for me and a bit disjointed in parts, it kept me distracted and not as engaged.

Still a strong emotional read.

I was glad to see that many of the issues glossed over in the ending of 'No Apologies' were convincingly addressed here. Greg and Aaron became much more consolidated as a couple, making me have faith in their happy future together.

OMG this book was beautiful. I cried so much when Greg was hurt. I'm so glad that he got better and they finally got married.

This book is so good, it is the sequel to no apologies and i liked it so much better than the first book, it was so heartbreking and heartwarming at the time, and to discover how deeply their bond goes, and for me amazing, Aaron and greg really have found something that is worth risking everything for, how they have grown from the beginning to end was truly a blessing, that i would love to experience in every book, as the character of greg has sort of given me the person who is less invested in this relationship, now i can proudly say it isn't true, both are truly in love with other, with that kind of love is breathtaking and so true that both are helpless against such love, that they cannot live (survive) without each other as aaron himself says that their bond is so deep that separeting them is like taking out their heart, as so the cannot survive without each other. I loved this book, and will absolutely read this again.

Enjoying this series

The continuation of Aaron and Greg’s story was a good read and kept me fully engaged. I must say Tibby Armstrong had me in my feelings in this book. Love Aaron and Greg.
