Cassidy, Midas and crew are paranormal investigators who investigate the death of a teenage boy who fell from the Ferris wheel and died years ago. The park is now run down and deserted but creepy spirits linger everywhere. This was a spooky story that had me quickly flipping the pages!
This kindle novella is from my Kindle Unlimited account book 10 of 15
The team is approached to investigate an amusement park where a young man has died. It is very strange and one of the team is injured. They are successful in the end.
I would recommend this series and author to readers of paranormal fantasy world 🌎 novels. 2024
Sadness of a life lost just as it is beginning. This story is of a brothers love that continues even after death. It goes to show that even the small choices we make cans have a big impact on the rest of your life. Well done.
Gdy duchy, niewyjaśnione zjawiska, nawiedzenia czy nadnaturalne istoty nie robią na tobie wrażenia, lecz klauni, to to miejsce, gdzie rysujesz granicę XD
Sierra continues to be a brat, but I'm liking Midas, Cassidy, and Aaron more and more with each book. Cassidy's gift seems to be evolving, which is interesting. Can't wait to see where that leads! The things going on in Cassidy's house are intriguing too, and I think there's more than meets the eye there.
I think I may have missed something in the plot though, because
Also, what about the girl wearing the "Material Girl" gloves in the ferris wheel cart with the security guard? The dark shadow entity? The gunshot sounds, experienced by the team and Ben? I don't think GCP is finished with this place. What's up with Midas' grandpa? Was the phone call real? Is Midas becoming a sensitive, too, with his new "feelings" for things and people? Too many unanswered questions!
Loved the 80's setting and references. This is one of my favorite of the series, even with the loose ends.
Cassidy and Midas are back at it. I just wanted to shout "Hello Again" - as it is like we are old friends, ten books in.
This book did NOT disappoint either. We meet back up with the team, a little change in dynamics I might add, a few newer faces to remember- and we are on a mission.
I started reading this series some time ago and immediately connected with Cassidy and her artistic magics that she laid down. I am sad to see that we have moved passed her sister, but loved how the ending included this missing link. I also enjoyed the connection with Midas's cousin - but thought maybe, just maybe, there could have been a little more of a to-do with that- maybe he hears his voice or something- just to remind him that he is listening. I got a little lost when his Grandfather reached out to warn him- it was kind of a lose end- I felt.
No worries, the book was still great and I am super excited to read the BONUS book, The October People. Here I go...
Bullock does it again. This time the ghost has a living family member who is obviously suffering from the loss of her brother. Add to that, the ghost is powerful enough to turn on the lights in a carnival that is not connected to the electric grid. That’s some serious juice, especially in a ghost that looks pretty hostile. As if that isn’t bad enough, Cassidy’s paintings are taking a turn for the weird. I haven’t been a fan of these paintings in the last few books, but this time Bullock gives them a twist that really makes them interesting. Add to that the social lives of the Gulf Coast Paranormal team continue to be bumpy and you have the makings of another good book in this series.

This is book # 10 of the Gulf Coast Paranormal Series by M.L. Bullock
Unfortunately, I am unable to say I enjoyed this book.
I thought I would based on the beginning of the book. It started where a security guard had fallen from the Ferris Wheel in an abandoned amusement park where there was no electricity. The power box was gutted, nothing was there, not even wires.
However, it quickly went downhill. I think there were too many things going on at once. I may be wrong, but I think she may have been connecting this story to a future story, setting us up for it.
There were a lot of unanswered questions.
Many things happened, but we were left hanging.
Benjamin Lee Pettis (spelling?) was a victim of an unfortunate accident that happened at the Ferris Wheel. There was a lot of build-ups to “What happened to Benny? Was it murder? An Accident?’.
I came away feeling disappointed that it was an accident.
Especially when the author said there was a dark shadow leaning over him.
I wondered if this was connected to the menacing shadow or spirit that was mentioned at the beginning of the book which blocked people from entering.
This question was never answered.
What about the “Prairie Girl”? I believe she was part of the graveyard that was found adjacent to the amusement park, but an explanation other than “they want to be remembered” was never given. • What was in the Fun House? • Where did all of the blood Sierra mentioned come from? • Why did Aaron climb the Ferris Wheel? • Why was Nina and Uncle Charlie showing so much animosity to Jocelyn?
More questions on what was mentioned but not answered.
This is a good series; however, this book did not live up to the standards of the others in my opinion.
This was unfortunate, because what is creepier than an Amusement Park at night?
An ABANDONED Amusement Park!

After 10 books I am still loving this series. Most of the gang are still hanging out with the additional couple of people. Cassidy and Midas are still together and fixing to get married. Sierra and Josh have their bundle of joy. This book takes place in a abandoned theme park. In the 1980s Benjamin is found dead, but was it murder or an accident. There are a few other spirits running around and it's up to the GPC gang to figure why any of them are there and to help them rest.
Another great installment of Gulf Coast Paranormal
I love this series and this book was probably one of my favorite so far! There was no way that I could put it down once I started reading it! Of course it's always nice to reconnect with the members of Gulf Coast Paranormal to see how their lives are progressing, but this time it was the ghost and his sister that really grabbed my emotions and wouldn't let go. I think the twists in the story were very well done and the ending didn't disappoint. I couldn't help but think of the Shawnee Amusement Park, a haunted amusement park in my home state of WV as I read this story. I highly recommend this authors work.
I have always thought that amusement parks were creepy at night. Imagine if ghosts were actually hanging around at those amusement parks...deserted amusement parks. Of course, this is the perfect place for paranormal investigators to prove ghosts exist. This series just keeps on keeping me interested with great characters and creepy happenings. A good, quick read for those sleepless nights.
Another great investigation from this paranormal group. I loved the wonderful ending! I'm very much into the ghostly genre whether it be mysteries or true ghost stories. I absolutely love this author's series and the investigations. Always attention holding and very interesting.
An abandoned amusement park, scary clowns and ghosts, kind of like a grown up Scooby Doo episode! I loved this story, and I believe most "ghosties" will too! Well done!
Really fun read. While usually "historical" by a measurement of 100+ years, this one was set in the 80s, with lots of 80s music references. Pretty much that's all you have to put into a book to get me to enjoy it, but the story was a good one!
I think this is my favorite so far. Excellent. And to make it better this series is based in and around Mobile County. I sm currently on book 11 of this series and can not wait for many many more on the GCP group.
I did not care for this books ending. It also kind of jumped around. It made me think something interesting was going to happen and then left me hanging
