Forever Now (The Barrington Billionaires Book 6) by Ruth Cardello
Forever Now is a compilation of love lost, hearts found and secrets revealed. Cardello continues to write meaningful stories as breathtaking as they are irresistible. For Annie and Kade the trek is long and winding, but a powerful one. From a mother's love to a lifetime of lies, nothing is as it seems. Forget the fairytale and latch on to a captivating tale of hope, faith and forgiveness. Through the eyes of love, happiness is only a heartbeat away. Out of pain comes salvation. My favorite of The Barrington series.

I really enjoyed this book. The mystery around Kent has been ongoing for this whole series, and I was ready to get answers. I am very happy with how the story was told. Kade and Annie had a great connection from their childhood. Her unrequited love for him was sweet and a bit all-consuming. Kade's life was a whirlwind with all the new information he recently learned, and I loved that he went straight to Annie for comfort. It may have taken him awhile to figure it all out, but once he did, he was full steam ahead. The interactions between Kade and the Barrington's were a little awkward and sometimes uncomfortable. Everyone has their own reservations about the situation and how to handle things. I really enjoyed reading Kade and Annie's story, and I look forward to more of the Barringtons.

It Has Always Been You!!!

Kade Thompson aka Kent Barrington thought he knew were his life was heading. For thirty years he knew exactly who he really was, he'd made some toughs decisions. He even left the one woman he ever loved behind.

His biological family found him, he knew they've mourn him. Things were moving too fast and he found himself lost cause he no longer felt like he was in control of his own life. He turned to the one person he knew would be there for him....The woman he loved Annie .

Annie Martin, had always loved Kade Thompson even when he left her and broken her heart. She knew he would come back but when time passed and he didn't come back she decided to move on. That was until one day the man she loved walked into her parents' pub.

Kade shared his dilemma with the Martin's, who in returned gave him some great advice. He met his biological family and what an intensely awkward first meeting it was. Which was understandable.

As time went by, the Barringtons and Kade got to know each other and they were creating new bonds. Despite the overwhelming situation he found himself in, Kade his both world together.

FOREVER NOW is the sixth book in Ruth Cardello's BARRINGTON BILLIONAIRES series. It was heartwarming, beautiful and a tearjerker. Fantastic job by Ruth Cardello.

P. S. Looking forward to Ian's story! ;)

When Kade Thompson finds out he is a long lost child with brothers and sisters was almost more than he could handle and when he is told he was born Kent Barrington, and was now a billionaire, he felt totally lost. Lost from lies told his entire life and overwhelmed from his newfound family swooping in to meet him. Kade did the only thing he knew to do and that was to turn to Annie.
Annie has loved Kade her entire life and was finally coming to terms that he it would be an unrequited love. When Kade asked her help meeting the family, she knew she would have to help, but at what cost.
Forever Young is a book that will draw you in on the first page and won’t put it down until The End.

4.25 Lovely, Satisfying Stars

I pre-ordered this book because I love the whole Barrington Billionaire series, and could barely wait to read Kent/Kade's story. However, when the book downloaded I waited a day...and was so glad I did. I saved it to read on a long, tedious flight from Dallas, TX to Tucson, AZ via LAX (yes, the airlines’ "hub" thing is so frustrating when you live in a small market like Tucson) because I knew Ms. Cardello would whisk me away to the world she creates, and that's exactly what happened.

FOREVER NOW whiled away the hours, and I finished it with a satisfied smile shortly before we landed in Tucson.

Kade Thompson (aka Kent Barrington) is an appealing, down-to-earth hero who's not impressed when he finds himself an unexpected heir to billions. He's also completely devoted to and protective of his "real" parents (i.e., the ones who raised him), and I loved that about him.

As much as I loved Kade/Kent, however, I loved the heroine, Annie, even more. She has always loved Kade, but when he left town after college a few years ago to build up his father's business (without realizing he's in love with her), she didn't wait around, sitting like Patience on a monument, smiling at grief. She built her own business from the ground up and created a life for herself. Not perfect, because her love for Kade is a grief she still carries inside, but it's a worthwhile life of purpose.

When Kade and Annie finally do connect, it's a revelation for Kade but he still doesn't quite get it until Annie slams the door shut on their physical relationship in an effort to protect herself from what appears to be a self-destructive pattern. I wanted to shake him at times, but then he finally saw the light. Convincing Annie, however, wasn't a sure thing. How he managed to do that was so sweet.

I was reading this book in public, and therefore had to severely restrain myself from crying a couple of times (okay, there were sniffles but definitely no tears!) One of those moments was when his birth mother met him for the second time in his life (the first time she'd held him right after he was born, and she was always firmly convinced that had really happened and wasn't a figment of her imagination, even though her husband didn't believe her). Another was when his birth father apologized to Kade for not believing his wife that Kent (aka Kade) hadn't died at birth.

As always, characters from previous books made an appearance in this one, which helped set the stage. I particularly loved Kenzi (Kent's twin sister), who has always been a favorite of mine, alone with her husband, Dax Marshall.

All in all a completely satisfying read and well worth the wait. Next up...Ian Barrington's story, and you may be sure I'll be waiting by the pre-order button!

When I say I have been waiting for this story... I have been waiting. I truly had to syke myself up to read and be mentally prepared with no interruption. My heart broke, it sored, and it rejoiced.

If you have not followed this series, shame on you. I begged for Kade to be alive and when I got into his story I was not disappointed. The other characters thrived on the events of his finding and face to face meeting. Not just to place the past where it belong but also to bring Kade back home where he belonged. His vision of more was a lot deeper than what he visioned but his heart knew what his mind couldn't quite comprehend. His love for Annie, the one constant in his as. A true friend that suffered and displayed what we all as women have once in our life. I for sure know I had that friend. To bad our ending wasn't the same. But for Annie the shoulder, ears, heart, and bed was enough for Kade to see what everyone aready knew. They were meant to be.

Now on to the great part..... Sophia/Dale and Pamela/Dave parents that loved with everything. Guilt be damned and hatred be damned because at the end all that mattered was the love and safety of a boy who became a fine man. Those one off conversations that Ruth created had me so in my feelings. So needed and at the right time. Not overwhelming but truthism Kade needed and what each other needed as well.

Just read it and fall in love and become more invested in the Boston/Australia Barrington Billionaires.

The lost Barrington , kade , is about to be reunited with his siblings .
What does that mean for their families.
And what does it mean for the woman who has loved him all her life .
Will he finally see her for who she is or will money change him and make him leave again .
Excellent book and series , can’t wait to get my hands on Ian’s story now .

Ruth Cardello can sure weave a story! Kade/Kent the twin everyone believed that had died at birth didn't. Sadie always knew he didn't, she remembers holding him, but everyone thought she was delusional. The finding of Kent/Kade's story is totally plausible and written in such a way that you can believe it all really happened.
When the Barrington clan descends to Kade's hometown in Austrailia he has no idea what to think. His whole life was not what he thought it was. While his best friend Penny helps him navigate his nightmare, he realizes that she has always been the one and is determined that she know it.
A great addition to the Barrington saga. A must read story!

The lost Barrington, the brother that everyone thought was dead but now he is found and yet when the family ascends on him he is settled and happy in his life and isn't ready to accept a family who he never knew he had. In order to come to grips on everything he turns to the woman he has loved as long as he can remember and together they will face the future. Awesome story and characters we have grown to love mixed with some new ones.

I for one would love to hear this in audio with the Australian accent because I just love that I can hear it in my head when I'm reading. Getting to fall in love all over again with the Barringtons is a great way to spend your day.

Two stars, passable. Great set up, but the follow through didn't hold up for me. The author fell back on unnecessary tropes that were not well done, instead of leaning into a good premise. Instead of having the H/h communicate which is quite simple with this plot as there are many other interesting plot points without the need for contrived drama, Ms. Cardello uses every miscommunication line in the book.

Without spoiling, the ending reminded me a lot of the small town romance stories where the ending is predetermined despite what would be most logical for the characters.

I feel like the author got cold feet writing a book about believable emotions and shoved a bunch of extra drama in.

Kade and Annie's story -- loved it. Can be read as a Stand alone BUT so much better as part of the series. The search for Kent has finally located him in a small town in Australia. However the story for Kade is so different, a phone call changes his whole world. Kade returns home, turning to his childhood best friend Annie, to help navigate what's happening and to help calm him and make sense of the stories he's being told. Annie has loved Kade since sharing a sandwich at school, she's made a life for herself without Kade. Through all the obstacles, shock, upheaval and adjustment for Kade, he finds he can handle it with Annie by his side. Will it work out, will Kade/Kent adjust, find his way, his extended family? I loved this long awaited book, loved the writing, love the series so slight bias!! Highly recommended.

Oh my goodness, Ruth Cardello has once again written a fantastic book! Kade's story had me invested from page one, I couldn't put it down. He thought his life was going into a certain direction, and then one phone call changes everything. I could really identify with him. Annie, I think, is my favorite female character. She might be able to heal Kade's emotional wounds and fit right in with the Barrington family. I really enjoyed the latest addition to the Barrington series because the constant feel of love and support is ever present. I would definitely recommend this book for anyone who likes to read about a close-knit family connection. Thank you very much, Ruth Cardello, for another stellar creation!

I am constantly amazed at this author’s talent for new and fresh stories involving big families and lots of characters. Well she has done it again. Forever Now is the story of the lost Barrington and all the ups and down that comes with this family trying to come to terms with all that has happened. With each new book, I say this each time but Kade is my favorite Barrington. The anguish he went through when he learned the truth was heart wrenching. He was such a giving, loving person who thought of only those around him. He was a great hero! I liked Annie as his heroine but I did get very aggravated with her as I felt like she expected Kade to read her mind about why she was acting the way she was. I did love them as a couple as they really were perfect for each other.

I thoroughly enjoyed this latest story in the Barrington Series. I connected with all the characters, the plot was easy to read, there is plenty of laugh out loud moments and I just couldn’t put it down until I was at The End!

This author not only tells a wonderful story about Kade and Annie but she pulls the entire family in as well. We get an update on what all the Barringtons from the previous stories are doing as well as we get to meet the parents who raised Kade as well as Annie’s parents. It would seem that is a lot of people to get to know but they are all seamlessly woven into the story. Viv’s brother also adds such crazy fun as well.

I have read all of Ruth Cardello’s books and there isn’t one I haven’t enjoyed. With each book she finds new and exciting stories to tell with such heart. She writes of love of family, strength, loyalty and sometimes pain with messy relationships, as well as misunderstandings but always hope for something wonderful. I love her alpha males who are bossy and sometimes a little over the top but that is what I love about the men she writes about. They are take charge but when they fall in love they do with their whole heart. These men always learn a lesson in what it means to really be a strong man.

I received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

Wow, What would a man age thirty think to find out that he's not Australian and the family who raised him, Is NOT his real family? And then add to that fact, he's a twin whom his real family believed was dead! Kade Thompson is finding out all of this and he needs help!! His real name is Kent Barrington, and he's so confused. So he contacts the one person he trusts, the woman who's heart he broke, Annie Martin. Only she can help him figure out this mess of revenge, murder, kidnapping and lies... lies from parent he loved. And now has to meet "family he doesn't know" and learn about them. Annie reminded him of a reoccurring dream from his childhood about a sister, and Kade remembers it. His birth mother was told he died, but her twin daughter lived. Annie agrees to be his moral support, but can she keep her heart safe? No spoilers from me, but you will enjoy the banter, fireworks and the way Kade/Kent finds his true self. Another 5 Star Book, from Ruth Cardello!!

Money doesn't solve everything but it does make planning easy. When Kade finds out that his whole life has been a lie he runs to the only person that was always there for him. But years apart has given Annie too much time to think and prepare to keep her distance. She's loved him since second grade but as a typical male he's not too quick on the uptake. She can't keep waiting around for something that will never happen. When Kade is confused about who he is and what he's supposed to do its Annie that is his moral compass. He finds that Family doesn't require blood to be related, just love. Maybe his two worlds can mingle and become one, but it means nothing if he can't have Annie. She was as much home to him as Bright was. Life isn't a fairy tale, but if we do it right, it might be better than one! . And so it is, they had their forever now.

This book is amazing, I actually just finished rereading it today. I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy and enjoyed it so much that I had to reread it. Loved that I felt heartbroken and connected immediately with Annie and for her “crush “ on Kade. How long before he realizes what he’s missed on? Can he get a second chance with Annie? Loved how she’s there for him as he needs her when he’s to meet his family that he wasn’t aware of. It’s an emotional read and I love when Cade gets so possessive towards her. I did cry over some heartbreak, but no worries, Kade does an amazing job making up with her. Had some happy tears at the end. I highly recommend this book.

I have to say this, and I didn't think I would ever say it cause Dominic was the first book boyfriend of Ruth's I have loved and never thought that another would replace him. Well until Forever Now with Kade. I know there isn't a picture of him, but damn that man is HOT. Yes all capitalized letters.

Ruth knows how to bring a person into a book and never want to leave. Forever Now is no different. You will be hooked from the very first chapter to the very end. I so recommend you reading this book.

Have you ever read a story so good that a tear slips down your check when it ends?

That was my reaction to this book, it ended too soon (in my mind)

Kade/Kent finds out that his entire identity is a lie. He was stolen at birth and his birth family thought he was dead.

His birth family has now discovered he's alive and they're so wealthy that they all on their way to meet him. The entire family!

Kade turns to the one person who has always been there for him Annie. Can Annie help him just when she's gotten used to loving him from afar without risking her heart?

What I love about Kade above the other Barrington brothers is how normal he is. He's still driven, but because he didn't grow-up with money, he is more relatable than the other brothers. Cardello does a great job of writing his dialect in a way that I can hear his accent as I'm reading and as a tribute to how well she writes each character, the secondary characters voice is often distinct and easy to pick-out as well. Cardello writes the whole package, a well developed story, great characters, with the perfect mix of humor and heart.

Kade/Kent story

I initially viewed Kade/Kent as a selfish individual. Yes, his world was upended, but he failed to recognize that the Barringtons were hurting and their lives were impacted also. Annie remained steadfast and loyal to Kade until she realized that she needed to protect her heart. Finally, Kade recognized his feelings for her. The merging of the two families was virtually seamless. Looking forward to Ian's story.

So let’s start off with the fact that I’m so late to this party, this is book 6 in the Barrington Billionaires but my first book....

I entered this book knowing I may be a little lost with characters and back story but still wanted to read.

I can honestly say that you can read this book as a standalone. The story flows and holds your attention, packed with feels and emotion. Now back to the beginning for me. I’m excited to read more in this series.

Awesome!! For a romance reader the most important part of a story is if that story sweeps you away. This story WILL sweep you away! Whenever I read one of Ms. Cardello's books I know I'm going to go on a beautiful ride of family, love and romance, always with a little dose of fun to go along with it and this story had all of that and then some. This story really filled my heart and I know it will stick with me for awhile.
