The month is July 2016; we went to see the Arctic Monkeys in Bridlington, we also spent much of the week walking around the sun-bathed cricket field at Sewerby.The front cover photograph is indeed from an exhibition at Sewerby; AmyJohnson being from Hull, which is not a million miles away.Amy was the first woman to fly solo from England to Australia; her father donated a collection of memorabilia and artefacts to the hall, for them to create an exhibition space in her memory.The Artic Monkeys were top drawer, Alex it seemed was most happy to be back in Yorkshire, even happy to be back in Brid I should say!There is a zoo, and consequently there are poems from the zoo, but in all honesty this is a collection more loosely bound than some of the animals to be found there.Enjoy
