Young Fribble Mouse learns a lot about research skills and using the library when he tries to discover his neighbor Mr. Crumb's secret. Fribble learns about the dictionary, the library catalog and the nonfiction section, the newspaper archives, and the Reader's Guide to Periodical Literature. It was a cute story with lots of learning opportunities for young researchers.

Great introduction to using a library and all the reference materials there. Fun story as well.

Nice job of folding in how to use a library into a story of trying to figure out what the friendly neighbor is doing. Like that the younger brother and even classmates get informed.
