This is a series that would have had a lot more potential had it not turned the way it did from volume 3. I enjoyed the first two volumes quite a bit, lots of originality in the realms centered around demons, dragons and more. It was well paced with interesting characters. With a lead female character to follow around, I had high hopes. But once again, it quickly falls in the usual tropes and your classic white knight(s) in shiny armor coming to save a "princess/queen" who gets all confused and lost as (bad) things unfold. Volume four was absolutely dull and slow, but things picked back up a bit in volume 5. I'm sure the pace would pick again in the next few volumes, but the average approach does not appeal enough to me to continue. It was okay ultimately. Decent writing.
Enjoyed this series so far and will definitely get the next. The only reason for 4 star rating iss the number of errors - words omitted, mis-spelt, etc. The story itself is good and I can't wait to see how it continues, with some new characters introduced as well.
A great story in a well constructed universe populated with dimensioned believable characters. It seemed a little too long and the ethos a little too preechy, if it was condenced into two volumes it would have been perfect.
This entire series was amazing I read it all in one weekend because sadly the books were so short on their own so I was super happy to see them all as a box set. EACH book left you hanging and wanting more. The characters were all loveable one thing that I was starting to freak out about was I thought that this was going to be a reverse harem because it is quite a love triangle but IT WASN'T Kate, Craig and Forrest were all great together and apart. I highly recommend this series to everyone just watch out for the misspellings. And the only negative is that it leaves you open for the next series with other characters taken from this book. I'm not too much in a rush to read but I will be eventually the year has just started to pick up this series currently free on Amazon and catch up!!
Enjoyable series to read! I quickly became vested in the 3 main characters and Mama Lucy! I enjoyable fantasy and sometimes find it difficult to accept that such young people are in the positions they find themselves. I love that the writer included several older adults who have some knowledge of the history of the people and the dangers prophesied. I often found it hard to stop reading!! ❤️The only issue I find distracting are the grammatical ones (which may be due to transferring to digital)? I prefer reading boxed sets of stories; thank you for making them available! 🙂🙂
The first two books were good. After that it took me forever to finish. Everything is always doom and gloom and the good guys barely ever get a leg up and then they do something worse happens. It’s hard to enjoy when everything is so negative. Also the ending of the last book should have been the end and not continued on. The author should have created a new antagonist for them to fight and continue the story. There was a lot of missed potential in these books.

This book had me in its choke hold. The storyline is beautifully written. It had the perfect amount of angst, just enough for my heart to be in my mouth and me chewing on my what once we're nice long nails! I can't wait to read the next set. It left you on a cliff hanger- not an awful one but still awful enough! I NEED to know what happened next. Definitely a 5 🌟 Read.
Wow. A very creative series from a talented author
This new series is a masterpiece. An expertly woven tale full of imagery, of fantastical lands, ideals, and battle. Where the bad guys are not who one would think, and the heroes are seemingly regular people.. if you love tales with good and evil flipped on its head a bit, where there is constant action and adventure.. you will love this series!
I liked the story. And i liked how it routed POV between the three main characters. But, all three main characters spoke/thought alike. It made it hard to remember whose POV we were seeing things through, especially when the chapter changed happened in the middle of the scene. There was Also a surprising amount of spelling/grammar errors. - the line editor needs to do better. And this is coming from someone the has horrible spelling, and treats commas like tic-tacs!
Good series of stories about dragons and demons was very good. I enjoyed the first three books very much more than the last two. The .characters Kate, Craig the half demon and Forrest, the prince of dragons took a great deal of time getting to learn to trust each other, before the storyline got good. Good Series! Thanks😃😃
I loved this series. The love triangle was resolved in a way that left me happy and without feeling like one of the characters being shafted. A lot of action and adventure. Romance was sweet but not overwhelming. Each book felt like it was just a piece and I need to read more because it was left with a massive hangover.
Good read but would not have wanted to read the books separately. Still left a cliff hanger at the end of book 5. I like books that work for the chemistry between people not the instant connection. This had a little of both but would have enjoyed more character development. I feel more invested in their past lives.
Dragon witches sorcerers this book has it all and more
Great storyline well told Kate Forrest and Greg heros trying to save their peopl from the plagued. Love this book with supernatural creatures, magic spells time travel and more. Wait to start the next set of books on their journey.
This is an action packed paranormal fantasy full of great characters and an inventive story line. Two young men, one young woman, drawn together by circumstances prior to their birth. The seemingly unrelated young people will soon be on the adventure of a lifetime which will take them across realms and bring multiple races together. A great read.
I enjoyed the beginning and the end was pretty good, but in between was too much melodrama. All the woe is me vibe is over the top. Some world building also needs work, how do different realms account dot the world being a globe and in the end will human weapons work now? I did like that there was no sex, more YA appropriate
I thought it was going to be 5 distinct books of a theme but chapter 1 of book 2 follows directly on from chapter 20 of book 1. I read books 1 and 2 but decided I didn't want to continue.
Although I 'did not finish' I've still given it 3 stars. Effectively it was just too long.
This collection developed the relationships between three unlikely creatures which can maintain human form. The romantic involvement between the three eventually is settled before a new enemy enters the picture.
I found it a bit confusing to switch between the characters, especially as 2 of the main characters are male - but overall a great, quick, fun fantasy read.
Over 50 grammatical mistakes made this irritatingly hard to continue. Compounded with a few inconsistencies in plot solidified my decision to not recommend this book to anyone.
