Comets: Not a Love Story

Wow, what to say. This book basically exists because of two things. One was a random thought I had whilst I was driving aimlessly to God knows where. And the second reason is that a friend at work asked me how the writing was going and I hadn't written a thing in weeks. I scribbled down an outline, a basic story that I thought had charm, and then took part in Camp NaNoWriMo. Camp NaNoWriMo takes place in April and July and you set your own word count. I took part this Summer, starting on the 1st of July. I set myself a target of 35,000 words and got to typing. That target got upped to 40,000 and I smashed its back doors in. That finally turned into the 46,747 words that this currently is.

Now, I haven't got an editor, so if there are spelling mistakes, I can only apologise. I have been obsessed with this since the 25th of July when I finished it. Tweaking it, making adjustments here and there. At times I even pulled over to note down an idea that pulled into my head. Part of me isn't even sure that it's completely finished, all I know is that I'm done.

Anyways, I hope you like it, I hope you like the mix cd and I also hope that you like the next book that I'll be starting on the 1st of November.
