***A finalist for 2019 Eric Hoffer Award***

Arun had given up.

There was nothing else he could do. Leads had dried up, no one gave a damn about Sara anymore. Three months later with no person of interest, missing cases were cold cases, he’d been told.

So when Gabriel came into his life, it was a welcome respite. He couldn’t help Sara, he could at least do something for this partially-blind teenager. The way Gabriel described it to him, it sounded more like a hallucination than a dream. What would you think if someone told you their ex-lover tortured them in their dream? Every night?

He had no business getting involved in Gabriel’s life. He cursed himself for doing it anyway. After all, he’d been warned to keep his distance from him.

What’s done can’t be undone. Right now, he can only hope. Hope to hear his voice again. His hands and legs can stay tied up, but he’ll go insane if he doesn’t hear his voice again.

Woah......very intense book! I feel a bit left on an edge though. I would of liked one more chapter explaining what Michael’s plan was with Roman.

I would like to thank the author for this partnership.

We learn from the beginning that Sara has been missing for three days and that she was last seen in Greenmile's shops, and that her last call was for her boyfriend. Meanwhile Katie will meet Gabriel who will dream about her every night.

A book read almost in one go so much I hooked on the story so captivating, emotional at times and full of suspense and twists and turns and with endearing characters.

I love this author's pen, I hope he will write more books.

Really enjoyed this book. Sorry I didn’t read faster but well life happened & got in the way!
It’s a tale of missing people, hidden characters & how seemingly nice people could fool anyone!
The author does say at the end how the story came to him & the seed grew. Excellent to know that something can grow that much & turn a really good quite deep dark book out!
Thanks for the chance to read this. Looking forward to the next 1!

Good story line, but...

Good novel, but lots of grammatical errors and the tone doesn’t flow in some places. It’s also confusing to follow the character lines the way it’s written but they do wrap up together nicely in the end.
