The title of this one is often translated as "A Yuri Story About a Girl Who Insists 'It's Impossible for Two Girls to Get Together' Completely Falling Within 100 Days," and the title appropriately conveys just how silly this entire story is; even through a currently-shoddy fan-translation, the comedy of the often-contradictory and stubbornly-naive main character shines through.

What makes Marika compelling isn't just the humor. Her growth from self-proclaimed homophobic bigot to someone who discovers her own capacity for empathy and caring feels well-considered and kind, even if the impetus for it is a little silly and smutty. There's that little bit of realistic character writing that helps ground the dubcon romance that helped me resonate with it on several levels.

I'd very much like this (and the manga adaptation, which is also excellent) to get officially localized one day; it's rare coming across a light novel that so fervently conveys Queerness, both emotionally and erotically.

I went into this expecting fluffy silly Yuri goodness and what I got was an incredibly horny yet emotionally rich story of a girl coming to terms with her internalized homophobia by being "bought" by a super domme bullying her into accepting her affections. I hope this one gets an official English language release someday. I read a fan translation that could have used a little more work but it still had me hooked so hard I couldn't put it down.
At this point I will read anything Mikami-sensei puts out, she's so good!

読み始めたに思ってたより全く違った方向に進んでいった物語にすっかり虜になってしまった。 「これやばい」と思わせるような関係を描写しつつも、同性愛者でありながら同性愛を認めることが出来ない人の心が繊細に描かれており、その内心葛藤に心が痛み、鞠佳が徐々に「落ちる」姿はとても可愛くて、そして同じく頑張る絢もちょっと可愛そうなところもあって、自然に応援してくなってた。 最後の絢視点の章はこの作品の完璧に仕上げた。
