I found this magazine book by Time to be very interesting. Each article focused on some topic related to creativity. The one article I found most interesting was entitled "Learning from Leonardo." The author listed Leonardo's characteristics that we can use to develop our own creativity: Be curious, Seek knowledge for its own sake, retain a childlike wonder, observe, start with details, see things unseen, go down rabbit holes, get distracted, respect facts, procrastinate, let perfect be the enemy of good, think visually, avoid silos, and many more. I am pondering many applications of these ideas into my curriculum next year. Can't wait to see how this article enhances my teaching!
