Quick, easy read: reading pace varied depending on interest in subject or experiences covered, and will vary with individual readers. The range of high strangeness, from Paranormal to UFO, are included. Justin, though, suggests that identifying and combining commonalities from within seemingly specialized aspects of high strangeness may be exactly that needed to increase understandings of all. A new integrated approach for a new wave of high strangeness investigators!
I couldn’t even finish the first chapter this book is so badly written. Even the stories offered were ridiculous. Meeting the same couple in a grocery store on two different aisles?? Feeling a presence in a room?? Never mind the unrelated rant about his mobile service carrier. This ‘book’ appeared to me to be written in the time span of a week or two by someone who had his buddies review it to inflate the ratings so he could make a buck. There is no way this should be rated higher than 1 Star.
I was very fascinated when I heard Justin had written this book. I knew Justin had experience in the paranormal world, but never knew the extent of his thoughtfulness and the comprehensiveness of his range of study into the strange and unusual.
Justin leaves no stone unturned here. He also explores the topics with a contagious curiosity and sense of wonder, yet tempered by a researcher’s humility and openness to alternative interpretations of phenomena that he describes.
He presents the experiences he has had and that others around him have encountered with an open hand. I recommend this read as an interesting glimpse into the world of paranormal research. Whether one believes any of the claims are credible or not, it will surely give you a better sense of the psychology of a fascinating community.
Thought provoking and well written , a book that challenges our assumptions and makes us wonder about paranormal research and brings a new viewpoint to the field.Good job.
