A great book filled with encyclopaedic data about F1. A great book if you look for such data.
- It starts with a section names F1 in USA. Sorry but what the heck? 62 pages of history of F1 races in USA and drivers from USA. Not interesting at all at least for me. Editing company is Barcelona and Berlin based, why they had a USA section at the start is a mistery to me.
- History of the teams are taken from the teams itself. It is a good effort but you feel like you are reading press release.

It has an F1 glossary which is helpful.

It is not a book you will read in one go however you'd want it in your library to have a look from time to time.

Being an avid fan of Formula One, I was disappointed by this book. I thought that this book would present the history and culture of F1 in a way that was fitting of the true nature of the sport but that was not the case. There were many mundane tangents, inconsistent formatting, and placid writing. While this was quite extensive and wide-ranging, it became monotonous very quickly. If you are interested in reading about F1, I recommend Speed Read F1.

This book has taught me alot because it has taught me the lines I have to take at the shortened Le Castellet Track. I really recommend this book because it can help young drivers like myself to know the tracks we might drive at.
