Sweet baby JAYSUS! I'm in love!
In love with who you ask? With Ace AND Mila.
High school sweethearts Cole and Mila were in sweet, heavenly love until Cole was gone and Mila was left broken. But she rose above all the pain, and became more badass than ever before. She's sexy, cocky (But not too cocky), and can wield a gun. Mmhmmm!
Cole (Road name, Ace) had a f'ed up childhood. Now part of DAMC Mila has shown back up in his life, dredging up alllll the feels when the syndicate (Mila and her family) and his club work together for mutual gain.
I feel like Mila's sexy as sin brother needs to be mentioned. Milo, her twin brother, has me all kinda of ready for book two. Dark hair, blue eyes, and a heart wrenching story? Count me the eff in!
This book was more than I could ever want out of both an MC and Syndicate series. Two of my favorite things rolled into one.
This book has steamy scenes but it's definitely worth mentioning that there's WAY more to it. This isn't your typical romance that allows the drama and action to be background noise while focusing on the hero and heroine. You WILL get caught up in the action, the lives around them, and develop relationships with the other characters.
L.M. Reign has killed it. I can't wait to see what she does next!

There are few parts in the story especially towards the end where the author used the SAME phrases as the ones in Real series by Katy Evans (Remington Tate and Brooke Dumas). I memorized that story.. and i got so defensive and offended cause of those phrases but wtv...

This fantastic book will capture your attention and have you sitting on the edge of your seat.

I am sick of that trope and I am sad that it is so popular. I hate "second chance romance" in which all jerks are forgiven. From now on, I will only try second chance romance if I am sure I can deal with the reason of separation.

Ace is the first installment in L.M. Reigns Syns of DAMC series. It reads as a complete standalone with appearances from other Syns of DAMC characters. Their stories are on the way.

When Mila returns home with her brother, she's thrown into confrontation after confrontation with her past, being forced to acknowledge it. Running into her old flame - the one that ghosted her - has her hightailing it in the other direction. Unable to open herself up for the kind of hurt he'll inflict on her. Not when she's still recovering from the years before.
As the son of the President of the Desert Angels MC (DAMC), Cole was destined for a position in the club. He earned his spot at the table as Sergeant at Arms for his ruthlessness and unwavering loyalty to the club. As an enforcer in the Syndicate, Mila goes where she's sent for jobs. Cole and Mila's story is so heartbreaking and hopeful and the way they fight to find their way back to each other is really touching. This book is special. L.M. Reign is an author to watch for with the way she captivates her audience with realistic depictions of love, life, and friendship for what they really are - messy but so, so worth it. I can't wait for Milo and Dom's story.
This book is more than romance. It's a sweet slow burn with a fantastic cast of characters that have you turning the page until you realize you've read it all in one sitting. Ace a get-in-loser-we're-going-shopping-string-you-along-for-the-ride unforgettable.

Wow! Where do I begin? First and foremost, this was definitely a 5 star read for me.
Ace was not my typical MC read, it brought me a whole new aspect to this genre by incorporating Syndicates into the mix. I had never heard of Syndicates until this very book, and let me tell you, I AM OBSESSED!
This book had me experiencing all kinds of emotions, just like experiencing four seasons in one day. It had the right amount of angst, anger, violence, humor, happiness, attitude & sass. If not for "life obligations" and "sleep" I would never have put this book down.
I fell in love with Mila and Coles story & absolutely enjoyed seeing them overcome their obstacles in order to find their happiness. I loved that Mila, despite what she has experienced in her life, is a strong female. I truely enjoyed seeing a heroine who fought for her worth. I loved that Cole, despite his life difficulties, he was able to beat them and be the strong hero that Mila needed in her life. I enjoyed seeing him grow and change for the better. These two were amazing characters that had my undivided attention.
I have to admit, my favourite part of this book, based on my values in life, was the bond between Mila and her twin brother Milo. If you are a sucker for family bonds and unconditional loyalty and love, these twins will have you wrapped around their little fingers!
If you haven't read this MC book I suggest you do so now! You will find once reading this book, you will fall in love with Mila and Cole too. 3 STARS for Ace. I don't really understand how this series will go forward, look the tittle of the series not very well planned out because there's no MC by that name anymore or was it ever one really? Confused about all that. Possibly SPOILERS ahead, so stop reading if you don't want to know.
Mila is our h in this story. She's a bada$$ assassin along with her twin brother Milo, I'm thinking they are in the Irish mob but I'm not sure. Confused about all the different language they spoke...what was the reasoning behind that and what was it?
Ace/Cole is our H. Author if you are going to have him sleep with OW in the book please have our heroine also. You'll loose readers if you don't.
I love syndicate, organized crime, Bratva ect...and MC books. I think the whole abortion thing was too much with everything else going on in this book.
Ace left me feeling confused and not interested in reading anymore from this series but I gave this one 3 stars because it's the author's first book and she has a kicka$$ imagination.

Amazing New Series and Author
I loved this story! For a new author... she knocked it out of the park! I want more!!
The storyline was well written and moved along at the perfect pace with good twists. Some you see coming, some you do not! All the characters are fully developed and leave you wanting to know more about them. I can’t wait until more books of this series is available. The book is written in dual POV, which I love!
Cole & Mila’s story is enthralling, I absolutely could not put it down & read it in one day! I loved the plot of having a bada$$ alpha male AND female! Mika is one of the strongest female leads I’ve read about in quite awhile. Can’t wait to read & learn more about Milo, Brass, Ness, Dash, Rook, Diesel, and Briar. And honestly... It’s been five years since Cole “Ace” decided Mila was better off without him and disappeared. The love they still have for one another is the bright spot in their dark worlds, although admitting they still belong together isn’t easy. A second chance romance about two very strong willed people and a shot at redemption. Their love story is far from pretty, but it’s theirs.

Need more of this!
I started reading this with Kindle Unlimited but ended up purchasing before I finished because I already knew it was a keeper. This is a second chance romance and a lot happened in the five years apart. Fascinating, one family an MC and the other Irish crime syndicate. This couple had so much history to work through, some very heavy and heart breaking. I hope to see more of this couple in the future books because I will be buying!

I got the pleasure of reading this latest book when the author reached out to me via social media to ask if I'd like to read her book. After checking out the plot, of course I said yes, and gave it a go. This was the first book of L.M. Reign's that I've read, but I have a strong feeling I'll be reading more of her work in the very near future. For today, let's talk about Ace!
When I first started reading romance back in the day, there were several MC love stories I remember enjoying, but it's been awhile since I delved into that aspect of the genre. What can I say? There's just so many books and romance novels and not enough hours in the day. I am, however glad I got to meet Cole and Mila, even if part of loving them meant going through a ton of angst and heartache.
Let me just say, I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It's been a little bit since I've savored a solid book boyfriend with all the writing and reading challenges I'm doing, so it was nice to pump the breaks a little bit and get caught up in Mila and Cole's journey. Their road to happiness is a rough one, a bloody one, and a sexy one but it's worth all the craziness for true love and soulmates.
Cole had his reasons for leaving Mila when and how he did, and Mila had her reasons for not trusting him when he stumbled back into her life. She also had her reasons for guarding her heart and not telling him about what she went through after he disappeared. Like a modern day Romeo and Juliet, these two were not supposed to be because of who their families are. When business requires a truce of sorts so that they can work together, these two find themselves directly in each other's path. It takes a lot of outside forces and wading through all the pain of their pasts to try to come out blissfully happy on the other side. Thankfully, these two are tough as nails when it comes to one another, so they're willing to fight like hell to make their way back to the life they dreamed of when they were innocent and small.
If you're looking for a thrilling, sexy book to curl up with this weekend, or a bad boy book boyfriend to add to your TBR, I highly suggest meeting Cole and Mila in this wonderful and edgy story!

This was a decent read but nothing spectacular. The story was good but lacked meat to it. The couple was trying too hard to be a couple that it got a little boring and rushed at the ending.

Let me just say, I’m a sucker for bad-boys and this story was filled with hotties I can’t wait to hear more about! The male main character, Cole, was swoon worthy and an Alpha male (which pretty much all us women love). And as for Mila, she’s a strong, kick-ass female—everything one could want from a heroine.
I loved how the backstory between Cole and Mila was slowly unveiled. They have a lot of history and there’s plenty of sparks between the two. Once I started reading I was instantly hooked. I stayed up reading and only got three hours of sleep before work.
I’m never one to say too much about a book for fear of giving away all the good parts, so I’ll list out some of my favorite things. 1) chemistry and backstory between the two MCs was amazing 2) all the feels! I cried at some parts 3) intriguing side characters who I realllllllllly want more of. Especially Milo, Brass, Ness, Bloom 4) the author definitely did her research! Unexpected find.
This book was just a random choice I made when I couldn't find anything to read. I'm so glad I found it because it was fantastic. Lots of action, a great story of second chances at first love and some shocking betrayals.
