The author notes that the church’s main weakness is a “lack of perseverance” in prayer. He gives multiple examples from his own life how targeted and persevering prayer took down mighty strongholds of unbelief. This book definitely strengthened my faith and to continue praying despite not seeing God move—yet.

I took off a star as the prayer solutions and stronghold definitions are a bit complex for a busy person like me.

If you need a simple, practical explanation of God's plan for victorious living and fruitfulness, this is it! Very compatible with multiplying movements to Christ--in fact, I'd say this provides the starting point. Begin in God's Presence, listening to where Jesus is about to come. "Park the ark," as Mark puts it and see what miraculous things God will do!

Christians in the west, myself included, need to have more of a prayer emphasis--not just more prayer, but faith-filled prayer that actually impacts the world around us. It took a bit to adjust to the author's terminology, but as a whole I was inspired, challenged and instructed by this book.
