I actually felt like I could follow this issue a lot better than the previous ones. I still couldn't explain to you what is happening, but I feel like the sense of it is making itself known.
Image and the author should count themselves lucky: if I hadn't been behind in reading and stacked up three issues before I started reading, I would not have kept reading. Because the first two issues didn't make any sense to me. This feels like a series that should maybe have been published as graphic novels rather than as individual issues, because I think you need to read more than an issue or two to start to understand things, and comic books are too expensive to buy an incomprehensible sliver of a story, especially multiple issues in a row!
If my experience continues to improve in issue #4, I will be extremely impressed!
