I'm wavered between 4 and 5 stars. Would love to give it 5 stars but since I found myself skipping quite a lot of chapters in between reading and still able to piece the bits together, so 4 it is.

I hate this novel but at the same time I love it? idk I can't find proper words to describe my feelings. But all I know was that I cried when reading about Qin Yinan and Cheng Qingchong.

No regrets picking up this novel at all. It was indeed a tad lengthy but I enjoyed the progress through it all. Many a times I find myself wince a little through the bit and pieces and realised this was well written enough to induce such emotions for the readers, not all authors are capable at doing that. Love it!!! 10/10!
