It was okay

What I didn't like - I didn't like that Xander was a player. I think sex is too intimate to be casually shared. I realize this is not everyone's opinion, and that's fine. I personally don't like it and don't like characters who engage in it. To be fair, there wasn't any actual outside the relationship sexm flirting, lust, or past encounter details, so that was really good. I hate that stuff. I don't know what exactly it is, but something didn't quite click with everything. It lacked something and everything didn't fit together as well as it could have.

What I did like - The ending and characters were all good, and I liked the story overall.

Overall - Decent reverse harem that was safe but didn't come together well enough, innmy opinion.

Wow! Four hot successful brothers!

I really enjoyed this book for the most part. The first 95% of it was great. But the last chapter and the epilogue just felt so rushed and The rest of the book was detailed and so interesting. Makes me wonder if the author was on a deadline and she just didn’t have time to make the ending as good as the rest of the book.
The characters were great, even Jenna was the perfect “mean girl”. I was just let down by the end.

This book is a reverse harem. I've read maybe two harem books in my lifetime, but never one in which the female lead gets to have sex with multiple partners. Reverse harem sounded very interesting so I grabbed this one because I like the idea of being stranded on an island with tons of hot man candy.

Blair is finishing school and looking for an internship. Her brother Ian has a connection in her field so he pulls some strings with his best friend, getting her a chance with the Harrington's. It's a design firm run by a single family with the father at the top of the food chain. Directly under him are his sons: Christian, Xander, Lucas, and Tate. They remember Blair from childhood and are pleasantly surprised by her. She is not alone in vying for the internship, however. There is another young woman named Jenna that wants the same job and she has every intention of winning the position.

During a flight to Thailand to oversee a building opening, the plane crashes. It happens quickly, with little fanfare. Up to here the book was dry. After this point, it bordered on ridiculous.

Why? So many reasons. I'll list some of the bigger ones.
Continuity errors. Big ones! She and Lucas are having sex on the beach (not the drink). He describes her as removing her yoga pants while giving him a handjob. However, the next morning she is now having sex with Christian and he says she still has on the swimsuit from the night before. Actually she had changed into the yoga pants from the swimsuit. Why would she have put the suit back on?
While being screwed by Christian against a tree he has her arms pinned above her head and she's still pulling his hair? I want to see her arms! She must be like Gumby!
I found a few spelling errors like award being used instead of awkward. Those weren't terrible, and they didn't happen over and over again, but it's worth mentioning.
I could list a few other things but I think this list is enough. The other issues that were really more matters of opinion rather than things that everyone could agree on. One of those things was the fact that Blair was, up until the crash, a virgin. Suddenly though, she's some kind of sex goddess. She's taking on two guys at once, giving out life altering blowjobs, having sex in front of a group like a veteran porn star. It felt unbelievable and forced.

I hung on until the end. I finished the book. I found more issues. There was also no closure for Jenna, Albert the pilot, or Rebecca the attendant in the end. They are left dangling. It was annoying. Also, early in the book there is some secret between Jenna's dad and Christian. It's never mentioned again. No resolution, no two line quick tie up, nothing.

Can I recommend this book? I'm neutral. This probably would never be a five star book in my opinion but with a little work it could've been 4 but not with the issues I've listed.

I was given this ARC in return for an honest and voluntary review.

Blair Kelly was going to interview for an internship at a company owned by her brother's four best friends. Christian, Xander, Lucas and Tate Harrington. They bring a whole new meaning to Tall, Dark and Obscenely Handsome. If they had their way, she'd get the job just like that, but it needed to be fair, so two female interns were picked, Blair and Jenna, with the best architect winning a position within the company.

Jenna knows right off the bat that Blair is the favourite and, as anyone would, she took exception to this fact.
To make the slightly frosty... ok, down right icy, situation between Jenna and Blair a little more bearable, they're both chosen to go to Thailand and watch the brothers oversea their latest project.

Half way through their journey, their plane gets into trouble and they crash into a deserted island. With a hope and a prayer, they're all a little optimistic that the pilots distress signal got out before all functions went dead.

Now they're stranded on a beautiful paradise island. They find a perfect oasis, complete with its own waterfall.
So what are they going to do to keep themselves occupied?

One virgin and four very virile men, go into the water. One exquisitely sated young woman and four very virile men, come out again.

So, what happens on the island, stays on the island. Right?
They have to face the consequence of their actions, when they're rescued and pictures of the island are leaked to the press. Now who would have done such a nasty thing?

And what did that doctor just say...?

The book itself was a good catch at the very beginning, however the story itself as it progressed was lacking. Blair, the main woman in this reverse harem story, was a bit lacking in resolution as the story progressed. She was able to get all the men that she wanted however, she never really got her job or did we really see what happened to her after her son was born. It would have made more sense for the epilogue to take place a few years later, maybe around 5 or more, just to know what truly happened to the boys and Blair.

There was an issue that Christian had that was more or less left unresolved. The same could be said about the other boys; Tate with his playboy ways, Lucas dealing with his lingering scars from his ex and Xander, well he was alright. He didn't really have anything to do other than be in competition with Christian.

It was also made clear that the boy were able to get the dirt on Jenna and that she truly was the one who had left Blair to die on the island but they say that she was able to continue working in their company, which doesn't even begin to make sense.

In a total, as a reverse harem story taking place on an island, it just leaves too many things unanswered and the story itself felt lacking. I've seen better. This story cared more about the tension and the passion between the characters and forgot about the actual problems that it brought. It was so focused on the sex and the flirting that it completely disregarded the actual history of the characters and of the sort. I felt that this story could have been lengthened a few chapters longer as well as making the story itself better.

First time read for Angel Summers and I am incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity. Yes, this release is a reverse harem, however, it is so tastefully written. This book does contain an amazingly crafted storyline with a cast of characters that you can envision easily.

Up and coming architect, Blair Kelly, who has been protected her entire life by her older brother, Ian, applied for an internship with his best friend, Christian Harrington. While Blair always crushed on him, she was definitely unprepared for seeing him after over six years. Christian is even more gorgeous and worse yet is her attraction to all of the Brothers. Besides Christian, the other Brothers; Xander, Lucas and Tate Harrington, are just as devastatingly handsome and 100% blown away by her as well. Blair doesn't want to have the job given to her so competing against another intern, Jenna, Blair sets out to prove she is the best choice for the job... Now if only she could keep her heart out of the equation. Everything changes suddenly when their scheduled business trip goes wrong. I was completely enraptured by the creativity displayed within these pages. I encourage all romance reader's like myself to read Stranded and follow their hard won journey to a superbly written happily ever after.

I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Stranded in exchange for my honest opinion and I highly recommend reading this book.

Stranded was a hot 5 star read.

Blair is interviewing for an internship with a company that her brothers friends run. She wants to prove herself and earn the spot not be given it because of her brothers friendship with them.
All of the brothers are shocked at how much she has grown up and how beautiful she is. They are all equally attracted to her.

She ends up competing with Jenna for the position and boy I didn’t like her at all.
When they all go on a business trip it turns into a plane crash and things get very interesting from here. The life threatening experience gives Blair a whole new outlook on certain things.

Let’s just say that we get a heck of a steamy scene between Blair and the brothers. They all agree to leave what happens on the island there, however a certain someone wasn’t part of the agreement and some pictures are leaked. What will happen next? What was the motive for the leak?

This was a great read that has left me wanting more from all of these characters. This was my first read from Angel Summers and I can’t wait to read more. If your looking for a hot and steamy romance with a great storyline, this is the book for you. 1-click and get started today.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Blair, Xander, Christian, Tate, and Lucas. What would you do if all you wanted was to prove yourself in your chosen field and the person you were completing against just accused you and your potential bosses of favoritism? Would you continue to fight even though you knew all of your potential bosses for more years that you want to admit? Or would you try somewhere else? This is the question not only Blair needs to answer but the guys as well. Also there is the small problem of losing control and almost dying on a small island. Can they find their HEA or will the outside world just prove to be to much?

This is an amazing story. I thought it would all (from the synopsis) center around them getting stranded on a desert island. This is not the case thought there is so much more to the story. There are ups and downs that I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

This book was simply... AMAZING! We start with Blair going to an interview for the Harrington brothers. I immediately fell in Love with each of them. It seems that I wasn't the only one 😉! Then comes Jenna! I really, really do NOT like this woman. She evil and conniving. She plays the victim/veiled blackmailer, and is not afraid to speak against Blair. Without giving too much away... They end up stranded on an island. It was just the right storyline to me. A near death experience and people start leaving their inhibitions in the dirt. I love how the author made this so STEAMY🔥 but with real emotion behind the characters. I honestly just want more!! I would like to know what happened in their futures? What about Jenna's father and Christian? Did Jenna ever come back into the picture? I really hope there is a follow up to this story. It was just that good! A surprise ending was the "cherry on top" for me. However, I would love to know the brother's interaction with this "surprise" lol. Please, please, please write a follow up to this book! I HIGHLY recommend this book to everyone! ❤❤❤

Blair's big brother is best friends with the older Harrington brothers who run a successful company their dad started. She is about to graduate college and got an internship with their company on her own merits and not just because of her brother. It's difficult for the Harrington brothers to realize she's grown into a beautiful young woman. Now she must compete with another female intern to earn a job at the end of the internship. This rivalry adds jealousy to the mix on top of the fact that the other intern is cut-throat and just not nice.

All four brothers are attracted to Blair but know they can't do anything about it because she works for them. She's attracted to them as well. Add in a trip to Thailand for business and a plane crash and things heat up.

This was a good book with simmering attraction but it wasn't your normal reverse harem story where the guys and girl are all together at the same time. The danger and tension added to the story and kept me turning pages.

I received an ARC for an honest review.

This book starts out with Blair interviewing for an internship with an architectural firm. The fact that the firm is run by her brother's best friends shouldn't be a problem but it is. Blair wants to get the position on her own not by favoritism. Oh, there is the added issue of all four brothers being hotter than any summer day! Christian, Xander, Lucas and Tate are all attracted to Blair but refuse to act on that attraction because she's the sister of their friend and their employee. When a plane crash on a deserted island leads to champagne drinks, playing in a waterfall and so much more, everyone agrees that "what happens on the island stays on the island". Yeah...we all know how that works especially when there is an other intern stranded with you, one who is greedy and vindictive. What will happen when they are rescued? This is a debut book for this author and what a debut it is! Kudos!!

This was a good debut for this author and I will read more from her. Blair has known Christian, Xander, Lucas and Tate since she was little. Christian was best friends with her brother, so she would sometimes tag along with them all. When they see her for the first time in years, they can't believe she is the same person they knew. She is interviewing for an intern position and wants to get it on her own merits, not because she is Ian's sister. She is in competition with, Jenna, who is manipulative and just plain nasty. When the line between employee and employer are crossed, what will happen afterwards? This was. a good RH office romance and brother's friend read. The chemistry between them is very hot and they all have a strong connection to Blair. These men are alphas to the core and they all have their unique quirkiness. Blair is a strong and feisty and someone who can keep these four men in line.

This was an interesting read. There is the main female character and four main male characters. The author switches voice between all five of these characters in the telling of this tale. I really enjoyed this method, as there were a number of main players, it was great to get into the mindset of each one. The characterizations were good. I have to concur with the main female character, it sure would be hard to make a choice between the four yummy brothers. There was drama, mystery, intrigue, and sensual scenes. There is no typical romance involved in this story but it looks as if everyone is happy in the end.

I voluntarily received an advance review copy of this novel and I am leaving an honest and unbiased review. I have no affiliation to this author.

This was an excellent book: four tall, dark, and handsome brothers, all architects, with one specializing as the numbers bunny (CFO) cooperate to run the firm their father started in San Francisco as his health forces him to begin retiring. Blair, the younger sister of the oldest brother's best friend, applys for an internship during her last semester of graduate school for her architect degree. She will be in competition with another intern to receive a position at the end of sixteen weeks. On their way across the Pacific, the private plane is downed and they are stranded for several days on a small island during which time Blair loses her virginity to the brothers. I recommend this book

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and loved to love the 5 main characters (Blair, Christian, Xander, Lucas and Tate) and loved to hate the villain of the piece Jenna.
There were some good twists in the story and I think my only disappointment was that I would have liked to read about how they tackled life back in San Francisco as a family rather than jumping straight to nine months later when the baby was born (so Angel - if you want to write a mini book that tells us more, please do - -as I would love some more of the boys themselves!)
Or even better a sequel!

Great Debut book - well done!

I really enjoyed this book. The brothers are all so different from each other. From quiet & quite studious to arrogant and brash these men are all wonderful characters and each is attracted to Blair but being as how she is not only their intern but the younger sister of a very good friend she is off-limits. Once marooned on an island though, all bets are off. Is this merely going to be a "what happens on the island stays on the island" scenario or can they all actually build something lasting? That is, of course, if the nightmare that is Jenna doesn't manage to ruin things before they even really have a chance.

I will confer that this was an incredible story. The romance of a Reverse Harem and the true knights in shining armor. The thrill of one woman having the complete love of five irresistable men is thrilling within itself. Blair looked to show that she was strong and independent but fell prey to love with very unique males. Christian, Tate, Lucas and Xander were determined not to give in to their feelings for her but fell under the weight of their feelings and emotions. What a beautiful story of love coming together. High Recommendations!!

Blair was trying to get an internship with an architect company while she finished college. When she gets one with the company owned by her brother’s best friend and his three brothers things become very complicated. The other intern was determined to win the job and was willing to do anything to make sure she did. When she realized that the Harrington brothers knew Blair prior to this she became very vindictive toward her. A wonderfully written story that was impossible for me to put down. Blair had an interview for an internship with her brothers four best friends. The Harrington brothers know what they want regardless of the consequences and their best friend. For Blair and the brothers being stranded on an island helps to kick their relationship into gear. But will they escape unscathed and what will happen when her brother finds out that Blair is not with just one brother but all of them.

I received an eARC from the author in an exchange for an honest review.
This book is an interesting read, but I can't comprehend being with four men at once.
Those men all fell in love with her, because they knew her from their childhood and they were intrigued by her.
I was dissapointed that Ian didn't stood up at her when all was blown over the media. I guess when he was described a very protective brother I was hoping that he will be pissed off immensley.
If you are into four men and a woman then this book is for you.

This book had some sexy scenes in it. I mean it is brothers falling for the same girl. It starts out so innocent and soon it's anything but that. I will admit this did not go as I had planned in my head and I'm kinda thankful for that. This was a quick read with fun characters expect for Jenna. She was just awful especially when they were stranded. Ugh that woman!. I did like how we got all the brothers and Blair's pov. I guess it helped all of us understand how they were all feeling. It worked good in this book.

Well written with a great storyline. Blair and The Harrington boys get stranded on a deserted island where all kind of fun things happen 😉! A definite must read. This book is nothing like I expected. Yes, there was Hot and sexy times, but the main ficus wasn’t on their relationships with one another with exception of their individual feelings until they were trapped on the island. The storyline was fantastic and kept the pages turning. The characters were well thought out and each personality was perfect for the story.

Hot indeed!! After crushing on one of the Harrington brothers in high school, Blair gets an opportunity to become an intern at their company. As one of their jobs in Thailand requires the for brothers to travel they also take two of their interns. Blair and the other intern are not getting along and one of the gets left for dead by the other intentionally. This book was hard to put down and would definitely recommend it.

Stranded is a reverse harem book that offers the reader suspense, betrayal, love, hatred and a roller coaster of other emotions that keep you turning the pages. There is the perfect Blair as the lady of all four men's attention and of course there is the villainous Jenna that tries her best to capture everyone's attention and support. Jenna's actions will have you wondering just what will Jenna do next and will Blair be able to handle the end results.

Loved this reverse harem romance.

Blair is hoping to land an internship at a company that happens to be owned and operated by her brother's best friends, the Harrisons; Christian, Xander, Lucas and Tate. She wants the internship based on her qualifications, not the fact that they know her brother. Jenna is another woman looking to land the same internship and isn't afraid to fight dirty for it. Grab this wonderfully written story today you won't be disappointed.

This is the perfect summer read! Blair wants an internship based on her merits, not because her brother is best friends with the owners sons. She hasn't seen them in years and is secretly lusting after all 4 of them. They are all in awe of the woman she has become and when they are stranded on their way to a business meeting things take a very sexy turn! There is danger form the bitter other intern, some intrigue, and tons of passion.

Blair has an internship owned by her brother’s four best friends, to get the job she is in a competition with another intern, Jenna. They all go on a business trip together and the plane they are on crashes and they are stranded on an island. Sparks fly between Blair and her brother’s friends. What happens when what they did on the island together gets out. Fast-paced read with loads of drama and steam. I really liked it.
