Olympus: Self-Discovery and the Greek Myths/Guidebook and Cards

Rate this book
Within the strange tales of gods, immortals, monsters, heroes and nature consciousness that dominate Greek mythology, there lies a deep and accurate assessment of the human psychological condition. The myths provide us with guidelines for acknowledging and controlling those ever expanding mental powers that are our natural heritage. Olympus has extracted those psychological elements from Greek mythology that apply most to today's world and assembled them into an easily understood self-analysis program. This pack consists of an instruction book, accompanied by a beautifully illustrated deck of cards which depict various characters from Greek mythology. Which cards you choose, and how and where you lay them, will tell you all you need to know about yourself, your friends and associates - why pay an analyst when you can do it yourself? But as Olympus is also designed to work subliminally, be prepared for a few surprises!

The art of this Greek mythology deck is fantastic. I love the artist. The painting of Dionysus is amazing, in particular. But the deck does not work for divination. At all. Under any conditions for anyone. So, one star for use, brought up to two because it might be useful for meditation or ritual purposes as just a stack of deity paintings.
